Mockingbird Lane Review

Horror fans as alot of you will all no doubt be aware of i've been reviewing every single movie and TV special that has starred The Munsters. Well then we finally come to the end of this long train since we are now just a little over a week away from the latest Munsters movie hitting DVD stalls and digital and Netflix and so then join me as I review the TV movie that attempted to make The Munsters scary with the TV movie itself being called simply just "Mockingbird Lane" enjoy.

The plot of this TV movie is after Eddie first transforms into a Werewolf the entire Munster family moves into 1313 Mockingbird Lane and Herman has to deal with heart issues. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very TV movie  well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very TV movie was at best OK which in this case was understandable since this was meant to be the first episode of a new TV show but at the same time I would have liked it if this TV movie had a much more stronger plot in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this very TV movie is Jerry O'Connell as Herman Munster and Portia De Rossi as Lily Munster. Also starring in this TV movie is the really underused Charity Wakefield as Marilyn Munster , Mason Cook as Eddie Munster , Eddie Izzard as Grandpa Munster , Cheyenne Jackson as Scoutmaster Steve , Bryan Fuller regular Beth Grant as Marianne Marie Beetle , Kenneth Lyng as Billy , Dante Brown as Huey , Grant Venable as Martin , Eric Osovsky as Wallace and the voice of Cryptkeeper himself John Kassir as Tim.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very TV movie well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very TV movie was in all honesty not that bad. Since the acting that we get in this TV movie is the kind of acing that you'd expect to see in a TV pilot in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the CGI for this TV movie was the legends and the greats that are currently over at Pixomondo who's work can also be seen on House Of The Dragon. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very TV movie well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very TV movie was in all honesty not that bad since it does look passable for a TV budget but at the same time some of the CGI effects haven't dated all that well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Incase you all don't know this TV movie is a reboot of the classic TV show The Munsters only instead of being a sitcom this show is a more darker version of the franchise. Which I guess is one way that you could take this franchise but these characters at their hearts are goofy and lovable and when you change the genre from that of a sitcom to that of something much more darker then you end up changing something that's fundamental about the franchise in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Another thing that I really didn't like is the fact that for some strange reason they made every single adult male fall in love with Lily. Which does make sense since that is a key plot point but at the same time it doesn't really work since it's not something that works well enough for this character nor is it something that works really well enough for this franchise at all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

For some reason they chose to make Grandpa the main villain of this TV movie which again does make sense in context of this TV movie. However it's hard to buy into the fact that someone who has been willing to help Herman out not only in the previous movie but also in this one and so it makes his more villainess side come out of nowhere just because we've seen how much of a good person this version of the character is in this TV movie in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this TV movie has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly thirty nine minuets and thirty seven seconds. Which is a pretty good running time for this TV movie to gave since it was meant to the first episode of a new Munsters TV show and so from that we can work out that this show was meant to have forty five minuet episode and it really does help that the TV movie does have more then enough in terms of story to cover this running time in my freaking opinions anyways /at least.

So now then since this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very TV movie well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very TV movie was in all honesty not that bad. Since there are some good jokes in this TV movie but on the flip side of that there are quite alot of very bad jokes in this TV movie in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this isn't a bad attempt at bringing these characters into the modern day and doing a more dramatic version of this franchise is a good idea but this TV movie fails on it's execution of this idea in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very TV movie in this very review and as such that means that this very TV movie erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Wikipedia , the official The Munsters fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because of the fact Google Images actually has alot of images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and so then horror fans we ends this review as we always freaking do with our one and true freaking goddess Elvira wishing us all some very freaking unpleasant dreams indeed.

Child's Play 2 Film Review

Horror fans there are quite a few horror icons out their however only one of them has every single film and in this case TV appearance written by their original creator. Since i've already checked out the original film and a few of the much more later sequels I thought that now was the absolutely right time to check out the very first sequel and so then join me as I review the film that proves that you can't keep a good guy down and out with the freaking film in question being called simply just "Child's Play 2" enjoy.

The plot of this film is a now eight year old Andy Barclay is placed with possible foster parents and has to deal with Chucky who wants his revenge. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films plot doing a good of advancing the overall story of the films thud far in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay , Brad Dourif as The Voice Of Chucky and Christine Elise as Kyle. Also starring in this film is Jenny Agutter as Joanne Simpson , Gerrit Graham as Phil Simpson , Grace Zabriskie as Grace Poole , Peter Haskell as Haskell Sullivan , Beth Grant as Elizabeth Kettlewell , Greg Germann as Mattson and Edan Gross as The Voice Of The Tommy Doll.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this film cast turning in some really good performances and it goes without saying that Brad Dourif is of course fantastic in the role of Chucky and is quite easily the best actor in the entire film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film does a good job of advancing it's two returning characters in a way that felt naturel and organic. However for budgetary reasons Andy's mother and Mike Norris were both cut from the film which given how important both characters were to the first film it's a shame that we didn't get at least one scene with one or either both of them but the reason that we get for Andy's mother not being in the film does somewhat make sense tho in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

I did find the character of Kyle to be a rather enjoyable character since she came across as being a normal teenage girl who had been messed around by the system that's designed to protect her. This is something that makes her a rather interesting character because all of her hatred for Andy does come from a place of love and seeing them grow closer does make for a rather interesting character arc in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

The same thing cannot be said for the duo's foster parents who just come across as being rather bad parents. Since they knowingly have a Good Guy doll in Andy's room this is despite knowing that Andy was tortured by a Good Guy doll and the fact that both parents knowing that both kids were in bed still question both of them for destroying an ornament heck even the mother had just finished reading Andy a bed story and was actually on his bed with him when the ornament broke this just goes to show just how bad these characters are as actual characters and quite possibly as parents as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

I have to admit I hated the fact that literally all of the grown up characters chose not to believe Andy's story. Since there's so much in this film that backs up what Andy's saying like for example how would he have tied himself up and gagged himself this is something that Kyle does ask in the film and it makes the grown up's seem even more oblivious because you have a kid who has already been through hell telling you exactly what's going on and as such the grown ups in this film should have believed Andy so much more sooner then what they already do in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this film has /had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty three minuets and fifty seconds. Which I have to admit is the perfect running time for his film to have since it really doesn't have alot there interms of either plot or story and so then this film really doesn't need that long of running time because the story doesn't demand a longer running time in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since is a slasher that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this film having alot of creative kills which does make alot of this films more tamer kills all the more disappointing in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall I can see why die hard Chucky fans consider this film to be the best of the sequels since it is a very good film however this film does have it's own fair share of problems in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've since i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in his very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Child's Play fandom wiki page and Google Images.

To say that 2024 was a shockingly good year for horror movies would be like that The Mouse Trap was a bad movie no duh. As we had a shocking...
