My SPOILER FILLED First Impressions Of The The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live TV Series

The Walking Dead is the franchise that just will never ever die despite the main series having ended a few short years ago. Every so often the franchise comes back either with a new video game or in this case a new spin off as the latest attempt to cash in and build upon the world of The Walking Dead has finally premiered and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED first impressions of the show that started life as a series of Walking Dead Rick Grimes movies with the show in question being called simply just "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live" enjoy.

The plot of the episode is nine years after rescued by an army helicopter Rick Grimes tries to escape from the organisation that saved enslaved him and others like him in order to reunite with his family. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad but at the same time tho this episodes plot wasn't all that good either as it doesn't give you a good idea of what the plot of the show will be about with this episodes plot not really being helped by the fact that best way to describe this episodes plot is really thin at best as that's exactly what it is with it being so thin infact that it's hard too tell what the plot of the episode even is with this episodes plot not really being all that entertaining and not really being all that engaging either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is the shows co-creator and executive producer Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes and the shows co-creator and executive producer Danai Gurira as Michonne Grimes. Also starring in this episodes is Lost star Terry O'Quinn as Beale , Craig Tate as Donald Okafor , Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl Thorne , Frankie Quinones as Esteban Garcia , Alexis Rae Forlenza as Little Girl , Karma Jenkins as Hannah and Les Trent as Anchor.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With both Andrew and Danai turning in some really solid performances in this episode which really isn't all that new as they both a pair of really talented actors who both know how to turn in a good performance and given that both of them have been playing there respective characters for years at this point they would of course would know what kind of performance to give there respective characters in any given scene but what really does let the overall quality of the acting down is the episodes script which is just so bad as it gives none of the episodes much to work interms of what it is that there respective characters personality is even meant to be in the first place and that is something that really does hurt the overall quality of the acting.

For once it's actually hard to tell who did this episodes CGI as there's no effects company listed anywhere on IMDB. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about rhe actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad but at the same time tho this episodes CGI wasn't all that good either as it looked incredibly dated and incredibly cheap looking as well with it being painfully obvious when there using a CGI effect which is inline with the rest of the The Walking Dead but it's still a huge issue as CGI should be hard to pick out and yet when it's being made painfully obvious that what your looking as  CGI effect that it's a bad sign for the rest of not only this episodes CGI but the series CGI as well as a hole.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Even tho the whole point of this show is to show Rick and Michonne trying to meet each other again after almost ten years apart. This episode has them meet up at the end of the first episode as such there's no reason to watch the rest of the show as the whole reason for the show existing is resolved by the end of the first episodes while the whole point of this show is tell a love story set in the world of The Walking Dead the makers of this show failed to realise that you could still do that without having both of the lovers in question meeting up again as the two have spent years together thanks to being on The Walking Dead as such having them meet up at the end of this episode makes no sense as well as robbing us the audience of a reason to watch the rest of the show as the show now gives us no reason to watch the rest of the show.

For those of you who don't know this show was originally meant to be a series of three movies all of which were going to be released theatrically. This show in all honesty would have worked best as a trilogy of movies as it would have allowed for more character development that you just wouldn't be able to get in a six episode series and heck with a trilogy of movies the whole world of The Walking Dead could be opened up to include things that couldn't be included in the show due to whatever reasons and yet by making it into a TV show the franchise remains where it's most comfortable telling the same kinds of stories from the same writer all of which do more harm not only to this episode but to the show as a whole as the show is only six episodes long and yet just based of off this one episode there's no hint of what the plot of the show could have been where as Rick trying to meet up with Michonne again could have been the plot of the show if it wasn't ruined by having them meet up again at the end of the first episode.

The new characters in this show do have some potential to be fun characters but none of them are really given a chance to shine. Which is understandable as this is only the first episode but when your show is six episodes long you have to give them a chance to shine pretty much in episode one and while these new characters do seem like there likable with one of them even willing to try and help Rick escape at one point it ends up being for nothing as were not being given a reason to care for the new characters which again is something that does make sense as this is only episode one of the show again due to the episodes shorter episode order this is something that is going to hurt the show in the long run as now we the audience have no reason to care for these characters and no reason to want to see any more of there new characters which is made even more worse when the far more interesting returning characters are on screen.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and fifty eight seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for this show but as this episode has not alot of plot to cover that large amount of running time as alot of the time were just seeing Rick going about his day to day life and there's only so long that you can see that before it starts to get boring which in this episode happens quite quickly and yet the whole general idea of the show could have been more interesting then what it ended up being as this episode really isn't the strongest episode to start this new show of on and when you start something on faulty foundations it doesn't matter how good the rest of the show because the start of the show was built of on faulty foundations with none of this being helped by the fact that this episode has some pretty bad pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a zombie show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really cool. With alot of the zombie kills in this episode being the most entertaining part of the episode as we get to see alot of the more gruesome kills that we all know that this show can give us and yet even with the all of the shows kills none of those mean anything as the plot of the show episode just isn't that good with the awesome kills in this first episode pretty much being there just to remind us that yes this is a zombie show and really nothing all the more then that in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is fairly bad first episode and as such it's hard to see this show catching on much like the first episode of either Fear The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead did as this episode just isn't that good or even all that interesting for that matter in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as we as all of the bad things in this very post and since this is only my first impressions I won't be giving this show a rating however if i'm still watching this show when this shows final episode airs or even is released online and then i'll give this a show review and a rating as well.

My First Impressions Of The The Walking Dead: Dead City TV Series

The Walking Dead is a franchise that just won't die even after the main show has now officially ended we're getting a slew of spin off shows. Well the first of those spin off shows has just now released it's first episode and well I thought that i'd talk about it and so then join me as I give you my first impressions of the show that proves that this franchise really should just star dead with the TV show in question being called simply just "The Walking Dead: Dead City" enjoy.

The plot of the episode is after her son is kidnapped Maggie is forced to team up with the one person she would rather not see again. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as it does a solid job of setting up what the main plot of the show will be and is genuinely quite entertaining and very engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Lauren Cohan as Maggie Rhee and one of this shows producers Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan Smith. Also starring in this episode is Gaius Charles as Perlie Armstrong , Željko Ivanek as The Croat , Mahina Napoleon as Ginny , Logan Kim as Hershel Rhee , Trey Santiago-Hudson as Jano , Eleanor Reissa as Esther , Pallavi Sastry as Nina , Charlie Solis as The Bartender and David Chen as Gritz.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With this episodes cast doing their best to make this episodes script work for them the issue is tho apart from Negan and Maggie none of this episode cast pf characters are given much in the way of personality and so the actors can only do so much with the material that they are given to work with in this episode.

Doing the CGI for this episode is rather unknown as the company isn't listed anywhere on the internet or IMDB. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with it being hard to tell what was a CGI effect and what was done practically on the shows set.

I will admit that i'm not the biggest fan of The Walking Dead just because I started watching the show far to late into it's run and I found the show a bit boring at times. As such i'm not this shows target audience but for me what's interesting about all of these spin offs is the chance to cover more parts of this world that alot people seem to really love and while i'm never going to be a fan of The Walking Dead TV show if they did a spin off that I actually liked then I could see myself being a fan of that particualr spin off.

The idea of having thee two characters who are basically enemies that are now forced to team up together does seem like a good idea. While it's understandable that this episode doesn't fully turn the character of Negan and Maggie into friends what is telling is that it doesn't appear as if that's the route that there going to go down which i'm fully on board with as it shows that some wounds are so deep that no matter how much time has passed it would impossible for them to fully heal up which should be the case with Negan and Maggie.

There are some things that I don't like in this episode like the fact that because of the fact that alot of this episode is set at night it does make it hard to see alot of what's going on alot of the time. Another thing that I hated was oddly enough the lack of zombies in New York as we are told something in this episode which i'm not going to spoil incase it's a massive spoiler but because of that and because of the trailers I was expecting to see alot more zombies when we reach New York but sadly we don't get to see that many and as such the hole city really does feel like it's very light on zombies and as such comes across as being a really safe for these characters to live.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly fifty five minuets and one second. Which if memory serves me right is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for anything to do with The Walking Dead and to this episodes credit it does have more then enough plot to cover that large amount of running time but at the same time tho I feel that this episode really didn't need to be that long as you don't really need to do alot of explaining and if this episode was shorter it would help alot with the episodes pretty bad pacing as well. 

So now then as this is a zombie show that means that I have to actually talk the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With their being alot of really cool kills happening in this episode and while the make up effects for the zombies don't look that good the make up when the zombies are killed look really good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this wasn't a bad first episode and while I can see alot of die hard fans of The Walking Dead really liking this show I can't really see this show attracting alot of or even any new fans to this franchise either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. My First Impressions Of The Walking Dead: World Beyond

 

Fans of The Walking Dead TV series or comic book as you might recall a few days ago I took a look at the debut episodes to both Fear The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead TV series. Well what you might not have known is that I was doing it for a reason and that's because I was planning on covering the debut episode of the new walking dead spin off TV series The Walking Dead: World Beyond and while I was very much planning on covering this early Monday morning like the main show this episode has been released early and so here are my first impressions of The Walking Dead: World Beyond enjoy everyone.

The plot of this episode which for those that don't know is called brave is sisters Iris and Hope Bennett find there world turned upside down when they find out that there scientist father might be danger and so the sisters and some allies are forced to step foot into the zombie filled world for the first time in there lives. In my opinion the plot for the episode is it's weakest aspect just because not only does it take a while for it to really get going but when it does get going the plot is so thin that it might as well not even be there.

Starring in this episode and thus the rest of the series is Aliyah Royale as Iris Bennett and Alexa Mansour as Hope Bennett. Also starring in this episode and thus the rest of the series is Hal Cumpston as Silas Plaskett , Nicolas Cantu as Elton Ortiz , Nico Tortorella as Felix Carlucci , Annet Mahendru as Huck , Julia Ormond as Elizabeth Kublek , Joe Holt as Leopold Bennett , Beth Leavel as Dr. K and Christina Marie Karis as Kari Bennett.

The acting is one of the episodes strongest aspects in my opinion which really isn't saying that much since the acting seen in this episode is the kind of acting you'd expect to see in a teen drama airing on The CW. In that the acting is pretty over the top at times which really doesn't work with the world that this show and franchise is set in but I will give the actors this they are at least trying to make the script work it's just a shame they really can't make the script work.

Timeline wise i'd say that this show is set either ten years after The Walking Dead's final season or it's set either during or after season ten of The Walking Dead. Which means that this series is basically a sequel series since we now at least ten years into the zombie apocalypse and as such it really is hard to pin point exactly when this show takes place however I will say that producing a show that follows the first group of kids to have been fully raised in the zombie apocalypse is a solid idea.

What isn't a solid idea however is not only making the episode available just a few days before it's due to air on TV but also making a pretty dull first episode. Your debut episode is your first chance to really impress people and to get them hooked but you can't really do that if your episode is really dull to watch which is sadly the case here luckily this show is lasting two seasons otherwise I could've seen this show not even lasting one season.

This series was due to start airing on April 12th 2020 airing just after the season 10 finale of The Walking Dead. However for some reason the premier was delayed and I honestly have no idea why since all the episodes were finished and so all they had to do was air them and yet for some reason AMC who are airing the show decided to delay airing the series until October 4th 2020 which to me makes no sense since there were alot more people at home back in April and so the show could have drawn some really huge numbers since it's not only new content but it's also a spin off to a still pretty popular TV show and comic book franchise.

Even tho this show is still classed a horror show I personally think that this is more of a YA (young adult) type of show. Since it looks like alot of those really bad young adult movies from the mid to late 2000's which to me makes the show look cheap and hell there's even alot of teen drama in this episode which adds nothing to thew overall episode but is there for reasons and that's really it and that's not good enough since the drama doesn't effect the episode nor does it effect the characters in anyway shape or form it's just there as a vain attempt to attract a younger audience which really isn't a good enough reason to have this kind of drama in your show in my opinion.

Out of all three Walking Dead pilots (Fear The Walking and The Walking Dead are the other two incase you didn't know) that i've seen this one is the shortest clocking in at fifty three minuets long. Which while it does make it easier to sit through it also means that alot of the episode plot points feel rushed because there now rushing to get the characters to were they want them to go before the end of the episode instead of taking there time in getting them there at a more naturel pace but that's just what I think anyways.

It also means that we don't get to spend that much time with the characters before the events of this episode really start to take effect. Since when the episode starts one of the characters has already put plans in motion to leave and see the world as such we don't get to feel anything for our characters by the end of the episode and this is something that could have been fixed if the episode was a little bit longer since then we could get to know what the characters are like and hopefully start to care about them but we are not really given the chance to do so.

 I would very much like to talk about the scares in this episode however the episode chose to help me out and not include any. Which honestly i'm in two minds about since on the one hand it makes sense that the characters would be used to seeing zombies at this point and so they wouldn't be scared by them but on the other hand this is still a horror show and as such it is kind of expected that you at least try to scare people even if it's just a jump scare.

Overall I can't really say that this was a good first impression because it really wasn't but on the other hand i've seen worse debut episodes before. All of the problems that i've had with this episode i've talked about in this post and for a debut episode to get so many fundamental things wrong is not a good sign at all as such I cannot say if i'll be watching more of this series i'll most likely check out episode but from there who knows and i'm not giving this a rating since the show has only just premiered and I don't like to give ratings out for debut episodes and incase your wondering you can watch this episode right now on AMC+ which is AMC's premium on-demand service and all the episodes will be released on there three days before they air on MAC which if you ask me is a very bad move indeed but that's just what I think.

The Walking Dead TV Series "Days Gone By" Review

 

Fans of The Walking Dead if you recall yesterday I promised you that i'd cover the first episode of The Walking Dead and well i'm a man of my word. I will admit that I got into The Walking Dead TV series a little late into it's run like around season 6 or season 7 as such I never got the chance to see what the show was like when it was at it's best and so here is my review of the pilot episode of The Walking Dead Dead TV series not called pilot thank god but instead the episode is called "Days Gone By" enjoy the review everyone.

The plot of the episode is Sheriff's Deputy Rick Grimes wakes up in a hospital after being shot by a criminal only to discover not only his wife and son missing but that a zombie apocalypse has started. I will admit I fully enjoyed the story of this episode alot more then I did the story for the first episode of the prequel series Fear The Walking Dead mostly because here there was actually a strong story holding everything together where as with Fear The Walking Dead it felt like the story was only very freaking loosely connecting everything together.

Starring in this episode is Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes , Jon Bernthal as Shane Walsh and Sarah Wayne Callies as Lori Grimes. Also starring in the episode is Jeffrey DeMunn as Dale Horvath , Steven Yeun as Glenn Rhee , Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes , Jim Coleman as Lambert Kendal , Linds Edwards as Leon Basset , Keisha Tillis as Jenny Jones , Adrian Kali Turner as Duane Jones and Lennie James as Morgan Jones.

For those wondering yes Glenn does technically appear in this episode since his voice is heard at the end of the episode which is why I credited Steven Yeun as Glenn Rhee in this episode. As for what I thought about the acting in this episode it's alot better then the acting in recent seasons of The Walking Dead i'll give it that and that's because they have this thing called a good script for you see when the script is good and gives the actor alot to work with then there going to do there best work but if the script is bad like in recent season of The Walking Dead then the actor can only do so much to make the script work.

One of the bad things about this episode is that we don't get to spend much time with alot of the other survivors in fact excluding Rick we only get to spend time with three other survivors in the entire episode. Those survivors being Shane Morgan and Morgan's son Duane Jones which for an ensemble show is pretty bad since you have to make us love all of the characters and when you don't feature all f them in your debut episode then you make it pretty hard for us to love these characters and yes i'm not counting Lori or Carl since we only get one scene with them at the episode and other three we spend time with get more scenes and more screen time.

This wouldn't be an issue if the show was thirty to forty minuets long however the show is well over an hour long and so there's really no excuse. They very easily could have had scenes at the end of the episode with the group of survivors just working out what they should do and if they should go and help Rick this way you could get across what the group's current dynamic is like as well as get across what most if not all of the characters are currently like.

If you recall in my previous post I put across the theory that Fear The Walking Dead at least for it's first season was set during the time that Rick was in hospital. Well I still think that this is true simply because we don't know how long Rick was in hospital and by the end of episode we see then pretty much the entire city of Atlanta has been wiped out and is full of zombies and so there for it is possible that the events of at least the first if not first few seasons of Fear The Walking Dead could have taken place within that small amount of time.

Out of the two pilots that i've seen for this franchise this is the better paced one since I didn't find myself checking the internet while I was watching this episode. I honestly feel that every scene in this debut episode lasts just as long as it needs to and then moves on as such we get a better paced episode and one that flows better but at the same time the end scene with the group of survivors with Shane really isn't needed since it adds nothing to the plot of this episode and nothing is missed if that scene was t be removed.

The zombie makeup for this series has always been top notch and the same is also true for this episode which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone since Greg Nicotero a legendary makeup artist provides the zombie makeup effects for this show. I honestly cannot praise the makeup effects in this episode enough because they look so freaking good and alot of the zombies look so creative simply because for some of them you can actually see how they died when they were human which is something that you very rarely get to see in any piece of zombie media.

This episode is an hour and seven minuets long which makes it three minuets longer then the pilot episode for Fear The Walking Dead which clocked in at an hour and four minuets. So it amazes me that even tho this is the longer episode it actually the shorter of the two and that might be because there's stuff actually happening in this episode where as in the Fear the Walking Dead pilot nothing really happens until maybe the last twenty minuets but here there's alot of things happening and because of that you the audience never get bored.

Now I actually lost count of how many on screen kills not including zombies that we actually see in this episode I do know tho that it's not a high number. Which yeah is honestly to be expected since this is a zombie show and so the scare doesn't come from the kills but rather the situations that are characters find themselves in and the threat that one of them could die at any minuet and in that regard is pretty creepy but at the same time I would have loved to see some kills.

Overall out of both this pilot and the one for Fear The Walking Dead i'd say that this is the better one simply because it had a stronger story among other things. As i've listed in this review this isn't a perfect episode but it is a good example of what this show could be like when it's at it's best and honestly based of this episode I can very easily see why AMC chose to keep this show around as long as did hell the next spin off series is premiering in a few days and as you all know is called The Walking Dead World Beyond as for this episode tho it gets an 8 out of 10 from me.

Fear The Walking Dead "Pilot" Review

 

Comic book and horror fans i've been known to cover entire film series during these difficult times and well I thought that i;d tackle something a little different and that's take on two pilot episodes from The Walking Dead franchise. I will admit right now the only reason i'm doing this is because the new spin off series The Walking Dead: World Beyond starts on Sunday and that show looks pretty good and so here is my review of the debut episode of Fear The Walking Dead simply called "Pilot" and yes i'm covering these episodes in the order upon which they are set and not the order in which they were released and since Fear The Walking Dead is set before The Walking Dead i'm starting with that enjoy the review guys and girls.

The plot of the episode is after witnessing his friend kill someone junkie Nick has try to convince his mother and her boyfriend that something evil has started and that something will consume the entire human population. In all honesty the plot to the episode is alot better then what I made it out to be since the episode does a good job of telling it's story as well as setting up the zombie threat which for me at least is a good thing since this is a zombie show and so it makes sense that the actual zombies are treated like an actual threat and don't freaking sing and freaking dance *cough cough* Disney.

Starring in the episode is Kim Dickens as Madison Clark , Cliff Curtis as Travis Manawa and Frank Dillane as Nicholas Clark. Also starring in the episode is Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia Clark , Elizabeth Rodriguez as Elizabeth Ortiz , Lorenzo James Henrie as Christopher Manawa , Maestro Harrell as Matt Sale , Scott Lawrence as Art Costa , Keith Powers as Calvin Jasper , Lincoln A. Castellanos as Tobias , Lynn Chen as A Nurse and Leon Thomas III as Russell.

Acting wise I feel that the episode does fair a little bit better but not by much and I say that because while the script is good dialog wise it's not so good character wise. The script doesn't give these actors that much to work with when it comes to there characters which means that the actors can only do so much in order to make the script work and while the actors do indeed do a solid job they can't be as good as they can be because the script doesn't allow them to be that good at least that's what I think anyways.

As mentioned this series is a prequel to main show however instead of featuring any of the main characters from the main show this show instead has a whole new set of characters. Which to me is the whole point of a prequel because now you have no idea if these characters are going to make it out of the episode alive or not because there not featured in this case even mentioned in the main show and so there's suspense and tension now there.

As to where exactly this fits into the shows timeline i'd say that it takes place slightly before , during and after Rick's coma. Of course this show would see a huge time jump for either season four or season five as such now the show runs currently with the main show with the events of both shows happening at pretty much the same time which for me just isn't that interesting yes it does open the door for possible crossovers but it also means that we don't get to see these characters learn that much about how this new world works or even how to kill zombies but there's a very freaking huge chance that they do learn how to kill zombie but i've just forgotten all about it.

As I said this show features an entire new cast of characters and what people forget about this show is that for some reason at least for this first season these new characters were pretty much hated by alot of people. Which is something that I just don't get yes this episode writes them pretty horribly but that doesn't mean that the characters themselves are bad Maddison for example is a caring mother who is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her kids safe this is something that we would see alot of during the characters time on the show.

We would also see the character of Nick learn to get of the drugs and learn his family is far more important then taking drugs. I'm not going to say that these are the best characters on TV because quite frankly there not but you can't fully judge a character of just one episode since in the case of this show you have eight episodes to get to know them and for there characters to be developed plus I think we can all agree that Maddison is the best character in this show and also one of the hottest females in The Walking Dead franchise.

One of the things that I feel that this episode doesn't do that well is explore the family's dynamic which considering that one of the big selling points of this show was that it features a blended family as the main cast is really something that they should have worked on. In fact we only get one scene with Travis's other family and that's not enough even more so when you take into account that his ex and his other son become main players in this first season with the son becoming a big player in the show's second season. 

While not having Travis's ex wife and son be main players in this episode might not seem like a big deal it does become a big deal when you take into account that the ex wife dies at the end of this first season and we the audience are expected to care about her character. That sadly cannot happen because we don't have enough time to get to know her as a character and so when she does die it feels like she was just another character and not a fully developed character.

Rather understandably there aren't that many deaths in this episode I think in total there's about three maybe four. That being said alot of the zombie related deaths were pretty tame since there just the typical death that you'd expect to see in anything to do with zombies which while it does make sense since this is meant to be the start of the zombie apocalypse but at the same time I do expect the deaths to be creative at least.

Overall this wasn't a bad debut episode and I can see why this show is still going on because even from this episode I can tell that the series had alot of potential. Even tho this was a solid episode there was alot of bad things that are present in the episode and those things for me at least are very fundamental in making the show live up to the high standard of The Walking Dead as such this episode gets a 7.5 out of 10 from me.
