The Mean One Film Review

It's been a good few months since I last reviewed anything that's a straight up horror film and well then horror fans as luck would have it we have yet another new horror fil out there. This film like with next years Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey takes a beloved children's character and puts a horror spin on them and so then join me as I review the film nobody asked for but we're getting it anyways with the film in question being called simply just "The Mean One" enjoy.

The plot of this film is twenty years after her mother was killed by a creature that calls itself The Mean One Cindy has to hunt down the monster before it's far to late. Now then interms if what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was wonderfully inventive but at the same time it was also a pretty bad plot as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is David Howard Thornton as The Mean One and Krystle Martin as Cindy You-Know-Who. Also starring in this film is Saphina Chanadet as Young Cindy You-Know-Who , Chase Mullins as Officer Burke , John Bigham as Doc , Erik Baker as Sheriff Hooper , this film co-writer Flip Kobler as Lou , one of this films producers Amy Schumacher as Mayor McBean and Christopher Sanders as This Films Narrator.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's  actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty the kind of acting that you'd expect from a film like this one. In that this films acting is pretty bad but at same time it's that kind of bad acting that enhances the overall enjoyment of the film.

What really bugged me about this film is the fact that it doesn't go all the way with the fact that's parody. Which is a shame because when this film makes fun of the fact that it's based of off a children's book that's when the film is the most enjoyable and if the film leaned more into that and went all the way with the fact that it's a parody then it would have been a far more enjoyable film and a much more better film.

This film is of course based of off the 1957 children's book How The Grinch Stole Christmas! by author Dr. Seuss. In fact this film is the third film to based of off the book but it's the first adaptation to be a horror film and I can't see why since it would be very easy to turn this book into a horror and the fact that this film did it is a really creative idea but at the same time I think that all of us would be sick and tired if every single adaptation of this book was a horror film.

What I really hared about this film is the fact that this film has s much lens flair all of which is really unneeded. I don't know why the makers of this film chose to give every single object lens fair since all it does blind you to what's actually going on on screen and it really does make the film look cheap since it says that the makers of the film just didn't have the skill to make the a film that's actually entertaining since it's blinding you with all of it's lens flair.

Like alot of really bad horror movies this one has alot of CGI bloody but here I think that it kind of adds to the charm of the film. Since the blood is obviously fake that you can't help but laugh at it which since this is a comedy that's a good thing but also a bad thing since your still laughing at the film and not with the film and so it only makes me winder the makers of this film chose to go with the far expensive option of creating fully CGI blood for all of the death scenes when it would have been far more cheaper to use practical blood instead.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty seven minuets and ten seconds. Which is pretty much the exact running time that you'd expect this film to last and to this films credit it really does take full advantage of this running time and I can't really picture his film being any longer then what it is since if it was longer even by ten minuets it would be stretching an already pretty thinly drawn out story even thinner.

So now then since this is a slasher that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that he actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film were in all honesty really creative. Really helping things is the fact that when this film does indeed kill of a character is when this film gets to be pretty entertaining since it's when we get to see The Grinch acting over the top and crazy which is always a really fun thing to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall I find it very hard to believe that this film got a theatrical release since every thing about this film just screams direct to DVD or perhaps even just direct to streaming in my freaking opinions anyways / at least, Now then i've talked abut all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and and as such that means that this film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 2.5 our of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because of the fact Google Images actually has alot of images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and so then horror fans we ends this review as we always freaking do with our one and true freaking goddess Elvira wishing us all some very freaking unpleasant dreams indeed.

Night Of The Animated Dead Film Review

It's not uncommon for a popular horror film or a popular film in general to be remade but what is uncommon is for that film to have more...
