Cocaine Bear Film Review

Every so often there comes along a film that makes you wonder what genre of film it actually is meant to be. Well one of those films has just been released and heck even the internet doesn't know what genre of film this is meant to be since i've seen it listed as a thriller to an action comedy to a horror comedy and so then join me as I review the film that lets you know what type of film it is just by the title alone with the film in question being called simply just "Cocaine Bear" enjoy.

The plot of this film when tons of drugs are lost somewhere in the woods a drug runner has to find them only to find that whoever has taken the drugs isn't human at all. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us n this very film was in all honesty just as crazy and insane as you'd expect it to be given the films title that is inn my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Keri Russell as Sari , O'Shea Jackson Jr. as Daveed and Alden Ehrenreich as Eddie. Also starring in this film is Christian Convery as Henry , Brooklynn Prince as Dee Dee , Isiah Whitlock Jr. as Bob , Margo Martindale as Ranger Liz , Ray Liotta as Syd , Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Peter , Aaron Holliday as Stache , Kristofer Hivju as Olaf Kristoffer , Hannah Hoekstra as Elsa , Ayoola Smart as Officer Reba , Kahyun Kim as Beth , Scott Seiss as Tom and Matthew Rhys as Andrew C. Thornton II.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With alot pf this films cast turning in some good performances for the most part since you do get a few actors in this film who just don't turn in good or even passable performances and that really does bring down the overall quality of the acting in this film.

Doing the CGI for this film is Clear Angle Studios , Exceptional Minds , Halon Entertainment , Rising Sun Pictures and Weta FX. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with the films CGI bear being the best effect in the whole entire film but with that being said the film does use some really obvious CGI doubles which do stand out by quite a mile.

This film is very loosely based on the true story of a bear that snorted a ton of drugs back in the early to mid nineteen eighties. I say loosely since this film does indeed take some very creative liberties with the story like for example the fact that the bear never went on a killing spree and as as far as I can tell the only people who were looking for the drugs were the local police department but what is true is the fact that Andrew C. Thornton II did infact die in the manor that is shown in this film but as far as I can tell it is the only thing that's true that's represented in this film.

Where as most films like this one take themselves far to seriously this film as the opposite problem in that it doesn't take itself seriously enough. Combining a comedy with any other genre is always a hard task because if you lean far to much either way you risk the film becoming unbalanced and that is the case with this film since it takes it's comedy more seriously then it does being a horror film which means that when a kill does happen it's not as effect as it perhaps could have been as the characters are nine times out of ten still in the middle of telling a joke.

As a comedy this film does work really well since there alot of really good jokes in this film but that's what you get when you have the pair of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller producing your film. Since they have a very good sense of humor and when you add in the fact that the films director and other producer Elizabeth Banks can be funny of course your going to get a film that has alot of really good jokes in it which makes it all the more painful when this film tells a really bad joke which sadly it does quite often.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty minuets and twenty eight seconds. Which id the absolutely perfect running time for a film lime this one to have since this film doesn't have alot their interms of either plot or story to cover anything that's even anywhere close to being two hours long but at the same time with this film being as short as it is it does mean that all of it's characters can;t be fully developed because the film really has to reach the next plot point.

So now then since this is a horror film that means that I have ti actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this film are in all honesty pretty good. Altho they do get very repetitive with the type of kills that they have since all they boil down is the bear either scratching or eating people which is good for one or two kills but when the vast majority of the kills are done in that way it does get a little bit boring to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall I can't say that this film is better the Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey since that film was at least entertaining in it's concept and idea but I will admit that out of those two films this one is the better made film tho n my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because of the fact Google Images actually has alot of images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and so then horror fans we ends this review as we always freaking do with our one and true freaking goddess Elvira wishing us all some very freaking unpleasant dreams indeed.

See No Evil 2006 Film Review

Wrestling and horror are in theory two worlds that should go together perfectly and yet neither has taken advantage of the the others existence at least not all of the time. Well there was a time when the worlds most famous wrestling company dared to produce a horror film and it's that very horror film that i'm about to take a look at today and so then join me as I review the film that proved that horror an wrestling goes together really perfectly with the film in question being called simply just "See No Evil" enjoy.

The plot of this film when a group of teenage delinquents are forced to do some community service at broken down hotel they discover that the hotel also has a serial killer and the group have to fight for their very lives. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films plot giving us exactly what we'd expect from the plot of a slasher but that's also the problem as it gives us nothing new from we'd expect from the plot of a slasher film either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is wrestling legend and politician Glenn Jacobs as Jacob Goodnight , Christina Vidal as Christine Zarate and Samantha Noble as Kira Vanning. Also starring in this film is Luke Pegler as Michael Montross , Michael J. Pagan as Tyson Simms , Rachael Taylor as Zoe Warner , Penny McNamee as Melissa Beudroux , Craig Horner as Richie Bernson , Mikhael Wilder as Russell Wolf , Steven Vidler as Officer Frank Williams , Cecily Polson as Margaret Gayne and Tiffany Lamb as Hannah Anders.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With all of this films cast members doing their best to make this films script doing their absolutely best to make this films script however the script give this films cast nothing to work with interms of what their characters personalities actually are.

This films does have a rather unique setting that being a hotel which is a setting that I don't think has been seen in alot of other horror films. This is a setting that is a really cool setting just due to the fact that the  killer could quite literally appear from anywhere and that is something that really does make the film alot more scarier and it's a wonder that more horror films especially slasher horror films don' have a hotel setting since there is quite alot that you could do with that setting all of which would make for a really goo movie.

I'm not making this up when I say that all of this films main characters including all of the ones that we are meant to like are just really unlikable. I get it that might be the point since all of them are basically prisoners but you still have to have characters that your audience actually likes even more so in a horror film since it will make it all the more impact full when they do infact die in this film and all this film did was make me root for the killer and not for the characters that your actually meant to rooting for because that's just how unlikable this films characters actually are.

To make matters even worse is the fact that this film does a switch on who the main hero is by killing of the slightly likable police officer character and replacing him with a bunch of characters that you really don't like. This kind of plot twist only work if the person that your replacing our main character with is actually likable and that just simply isn't the case with this film and as such the plot twist just doesn't work out as well as it could have done because of the fact that the filmmakers chose to make none of it's characters actually likable.

The idea of casting Kane as this films main villain is a genuinely good idea since Glenn Jacobs himself is huge tower of a man. Heck even without any makeup he is a pretty scary looking person and so casting him as this films villain does make sense what doesn't make sense is making this character seem alot more likable then the characters that your actually meant to like since your not meant to like the villain and so making this character who is evil beyond all believe just doesn't work and it's something that doesn't make alot of sense at all.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty three minuets and fifty nine seconds. Which is the bog standard running time for a low budget schlocky slasher horror film like this one to have and to this films credit it really does have the perfect amount of story to cover that amount of running time however I can't help but wonder if this film did have a much longer running time would all of the characters which are very thinly drawn out become alot more fleshed out or if they would remain just as thinly drawn out as they are in the finished cut of this film but again to this films credit when the kills start coming they come at you thick and fast and that really does help with this films pacing.

So now then since this is a slasher that means that I do have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films kills being the most entertaining part of the film since you can quite clearly tell that's where the filmmakers out alot of their effort in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is just an OK film that WWE Films produced and even tho it was quite clearly made to promote Kane and nothing else this film is a very entertaining film to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out of 10 from me.

Knock At The Cabin Film Review

I think that it's safe to say that writer and director M. Night Shyamalan is a very mixed director when it comes to his horror films with some of the being really good and others being some peoples worst films ever. Well he's just released a new film and well with his recent films being both critical and box office hits I had to check this film out just to see if he really is bouncing back as a writer , director and producer and so then join me as I review the film that teams up Ronald Weasley with Drax The Destroyer with the film in question being called simply just "Knock At The Cabin" enjoy.

The plot of this film is two fathers and their daughter have to decide which one of them will die all before the world comes it's end. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films plot being very creative and engaging as well as being fairly entertaining as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Guardians Of The Galaxy star Dave Bautista as Leonard and Frozen and Frozen 2 star Jonathan Groff as Eric. Also starring in this film is Pennyworth aka Pennyworth: The Origin Of Batman's Butler star Ben Aldridge as Andrew , The Omen remake star Nikki Amuka-Bird as Sabrina , Kristen Cui as Wen , Mad About You star Abby Quinn as Adriane and Harry Potter star Rupert Grint as Redmond.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films cast members turning in some shockingly good performances even Rupert Grint turns in a really good performance as well which was something that really did shock me just because of the fact that i've not seen him in alot of things.

This film is based of off the 2018 book by Paul Tremblay with the book itself being called simply just The Cabin At The End Of The World. As far as I can tell the film does follow the book rather well but there is one key difference that I can't say as it's a spoiler but let's just say that I wished that the film went with this scene as it would have made the film alot more darker then what it actually is and it would have given the film the edge that it very much needs but the change is somewhat understandable as it would have been a bit extreme for mainstream audiences.

What makes this films villains truly standout is the fact that it's villains are for the most part genuinely nice people. This also makes them rather scary as there doing this evil because of the fact that they genuinely believe it to be the right thing to do and also because of the fact that they are nice people as well and while these villains won't go down as the most well known villains in all of horror but they will go down as one of the most interesting villains that there is since they also feel genuine remorse for what it is that they have to do as well.

Unlike with alot of films written , directed and produced M. Night Shyamalan there really isn't a twist in this film. There is something close to a twist in this film which again due to it being a spoiler I can't really spoil it but it's not that good of a twist since it's something that's mentioned quite often which is a shame because it's a key plot point and as such alot of thought should have gone into holding of on this reveal just to make it all the ore shocking and that would have made feel alot more like a true M. Night Shyamalan plot twist.

One of this films key themes is that of family since we find out that our main family was chosen because their love for each other was pure. As such we get to see how this family works together as a family unit and while that isn't something that we get to see in the main bulk of the film when we do get to see it play it makes the characters feel alot more likable which was something that I really liked altho I would have liked if we got to see that this family wasn't as perfect as they make out to be which is something that is only hinted at in this film.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty four minuets and sixteen seconds. Which is the absolutely perfect time for this film to last since it doesn't have alot of story to cover anything that's anywhere even close to being two hours long and as such this film does have some really good pacing with both the story and scenes moving at a great pace and with no scene lasting no longer then what it really needs to altho I would have liked it if this film was a little bit longer just so that they could fully develop all of it;s characters alot more then what it actually does in this film.

So now then since this is a horror film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film were in all honesty not that bad. Altho this film does commit the biggest sin that any horror film can commit and that's the fact that alot of this films kills happen off screen an that is something that shouldn't be the case since this is an R rated film and as such all of the kills should have be shown on screen in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while I can't say if this film is better then let's say The Departed for example I can say that is a very good film and it's one that shows that M. Night Shyamalan knows how to get good performances from his cast when he really wants to in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards .

Night Of The Animated Dead Film Review

It's not uncommon for a popular horror film or a popular film in general to be remade but what is uncommon is for that film to have more...
