Resident Evil: Apocalypse Film Review

Resident Evil fans with the new Resident Evil live action Netflix TV series currently proving to be a bomb for Netflix I thought that now was the absolutely right time to take a look at the only live action RE film that alot of people and die hard fans alike agree is actually pretty freaking good and so join me as I review the film that is the only actually good live action Resident Evil film with the film in question being called simply just "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" enjoy.

The plot of this film is Alice is forced to team up with a group of survivors in order to escape Raccoon City before the evil Umbrella Corporation close the city and blow it up. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good since it was a fairly entertaining plot in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is of course franchise star Milla Jovovich as Alice and Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine. Also starring in this film is Oded Fehr as Carlos Olivera , Thomas Kretschmann as Major Timothy Cain , Sophie Vavasseur as Angela "Angie" Ashford , Razaaq Adoti as Sgt. Peyton Wells , Jared Harris as Dr. Charles Ashford , Mike Epps as Lloyd Jefferson "L.J." Wade , Sandrine Holt as Terri Morales , Matthew G. Taylor as Nemesis , Zack Ward as Nicholai Ginovaef and Iain Glen as Dr. Alexander Isaacs.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With alot of this films cast turning in some really good performances with Milla Jovovich of course being the true standout actress in this film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film does introduce alot of fairly popular characters from the games and unlike the Netflix show this film handles these characters really well. I can't say if they are on par with their video games counterpart but interms of this film and this film only all of this films video games characters are written really well and are actually treated with alot of love and respect in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film does have a direct connection to the first film with the character of Nemesis being a mutated version of the Matthew "Matt" Addison character from the first film. I personally really liked this connection as it makes the world that these films take place in feel a lot larger and it makes Umbrella Corporation seem alot more evil then what they already are as they could just take anybody good and pure and turn them into an evil killing machine and that does make them seem alot more like a threat in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

To me this film is the best live action Resident Evil film since it's such a fun movie to watch whilst also being quite entertaining. However tho there are things that are I don't like like for example the character of Terri Morales is a completely useless character who could have been removed from the film and the main plot of the film wouldn't have changed at all heck this character doesn't even have any interesting or entertaining scenes and so I have to wonder why this character was even included in the film since she's such a useless character in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

What seemed a little bit of to me is that in this film Alice is written alot more like Sarah Conner from Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Which while it would make sense if this film was set months or even years after the first film but it's not it's meant to be set at the latest a few days after the first film and so she should still be written like the Alice that we saw in the first film and so having her act like a Sarah Conner type of character really doesn't make any kind of sense what so freaking in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this films grand total running time even was I do know that for a fact that this film had a running time of roughly ne hour and thirty minuets. Which I really didn't like but at the same time I understood why this film was a short as it was would I liked it if this film had been longer yes because you could have developed alot of the side characters alot more but at the exact same time this film really doesn't have enough story to cover a longer running time in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then this film is pretty much an action film and so then that means that I have to talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. Since alot of this films action was really entertaining and when it needed to be it was really over the top and very entertaining to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this film does start the tradition of making this franchise more of an action franchise then a horror franchise this film is still quite an entertaining and very fun film to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Images actually has images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and so then horror fans we ends this review as we always do with our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some very unpleasant dreams.

The Bloody Man Film Review

Horror fans the eighties seems to making a big comeback with it being represented everywhere on TV and on movies. However very few of those products have stars from a classic slasher franchise in them and well that's not the case for this film and it was this kind of casting that made me want to check this films and so then join me as I review of the freaking film that reunites to of the A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master cast with the film in question being called simply just "The Bloody Man" enjoy.

I really do wish that I could tell you what the plot of this film even is however it really doesn't have a plot at all. Which is the first of many red flags that this film has since when you rob a film of it's plot then you rob it of it's reason to even exist and that's sadly what this film and when you add in the fact that this film is filled up with really annoying characters it means that all your left doing is watching a bunch of really annoying characters just go abut their day to day lives and that's fun , interesting or even entertaining in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Tuesday Knight as Kim Harris , Lisa Wilcox as Laurie Harris and KateLynn E. Newberry as Audrey. Also starring in this film is Roni Jonah as Peggy , Brian Cage as The Voice Of Barbarian Man , Paul Gregory as Charles , this films co-writer and director Daniel Benedict as Diner Manager , Spencer Kingsley as Nate , Jeremy Carr as Daniel Harris , Ellie Parker as Stacy , Dominick Wilkins as William Hyde , this films co-writer Casi Clark as Mrs. Richard , Jason Crowe as The Devil and David Daniel as Sam Harris.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty for the most part pretty bad. With all of this films younger cast members turning in some awful performances and both while both Tuesday Knight and Lisa Wilcox turn in decent performances it's not enough to up the overall quality of the acting in this film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Usually when a horror movie has a really annoying character they usually make that character a side character. However this film chose to make it's main character a really annoying character with this kid doing nothing but shouting at people for the vast majority of the film which makes him come across as being a really annoying character and for somebody who is meant to be your hero of this story that is not a very good thing at all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

As I stated at the start of the review this film does reunite to stars from A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master. With those stars being of course Tuesday Knight and Lisa Wilcox both of whom look really good for people who are pushing sixty however tho despite those two being the two biggest named actors in this film they shockingly don't share any scenes together which could have been a really cool thing to see in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

What could have mad there reunion just that little bit sweeter was if at some point during this film they played Running From This Nightmare. Which would have worked in this film since this film is set in the eighties and the main character is seen suffering from nightmares so it wouldn't seem like an out of place song to use and it would have been a much better fit then all of the over generic eighties pop and rock songs that show up during this film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This film does try to do the whole your stepmother isn't going to replace your mother plotline from a lot of films that feature stepmother character. However this film does it poorly by making every single character including the stepmother really annoying characters and so you don't want to see any of this films characters come out of this film alive because of how annoying they are in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly two hours and thirteen minuets and fifteen seconds. Which for a film that only should have been one hour and thirty minuets means that this film is way longer then it really needs to be since this film only has enough story to last one hour and thirty minuets and so the director of this film should have been a lot more strict on cutting down all of the really pointless scenes that add nothing to the overall plot of the film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this is a horror film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film are at best OK. Which for this film having something that's OK is amazing and I will admit that some of this films are fairly creative at best in my freaking opinions anyways /at least.

Overall this film is both a bad representation of the eighties and a bad representation of eighties horrors films in general and both of which make this film out to be a very bad film indeed in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 3.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards .

My First Impressions Of The Resident Evil Live Action TV Series

Resident Evil fans the day that you have all been dreading is now sadly finally here because Netflix have dropped all eight episodes of the show that nobody wanted. Which means that yours truly has to check it out and in order to give this show a fair shake i'm doing this post based of off the first two episodes of the show and so then join me as I give you my first impressions of the show that nobody wanted with the show in question being called simply just "Resident Evil" enjoy.

The plot of these first two episodes does seem a little hard to figure out not because it's complicated but rather it's virtually none existent. Which for any form of media is always going to be a bad thing since you then rob your show of it's reason to exist and that's sadly what's happened here and it's been robbed of it's chance to get any fans because nobody is going to want to watch a show that has no storyline attached to it in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in these first two episodes is Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker and Ella Balinska as Older Jade Wesker. Also starring in these first two episodes is Siena Agudong as Older Billie Wesker , Tamara Smart as Younger Jade Wesker , Anthony Oseyemi as Roth , Mpho Osei Tutu as Yen , Nicholas Pauling as Tate , Richard Wright-Firth as Maskey , Adrienne Pearce as Mrs Morgan , Michelle Allen as Rhonda and Lauren Steyn as Carol.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes was in all honesty OK at best. This is of course no fault of the cast but rather the episodes scripts which gives all of the actors literally nothing to work with in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

As much as i'd like to credit the correct VFX companies for these two episodes I sadly can't because of the fact that I can't find out who did the VFX for these first two episodes. Which in this case because the CGI that we get in these first two episodes ranges from OK at best to just flat out bad with these first two episodes using CGI in places where you didn't need to use CGI which just goes to show you that makers of this show care more about using flashy effects then they do about telling a good or even a decent storyline in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

It's been a very rough couple of months for the Resident Evil franchise with the film Resident Evil: Welcome To racoon City bombing hard at the box office and now this show getting released with very little to no fanfare. I don't know why Americans seem to be having a very hard time adapting this franchise recently when it should be the easiest franchise in the world to adapt since all your doing is telling a zombie survival story and that's it and yet filmmakers and show makers seem to either not make it fun enough or make it so much fun that it basically becomes a parody of itself in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

For some strange reason the makers of this show thought that it was a good idea to tell this story across two different timelines. Which to be fair isn't that bad of an idea on paper but when you factor into account that this show really doesn't have a story to tell let alone one that you need to tell across two different timelines then the whole thing really does just start to crumble in on itself in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

I will give these first two episodes and thus this show this it is trying to do something new however what that something even is is anybodys guess. Since this show doesn't seem to all that inspired if anything this show comes across as being nothing more then a soulless and lifeless cash grab and nothing more then that since this show and thus these first two episodes is lacking in every single aspect in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then these first two episodes have a combined grand total running time of exactly one hour and fifty minuets exactly. With episode one being one hour one minuet and fifty six seconds and and episode two being forty nine minutes and fifty nine seconds which is basically fifty minuets and yeah you really do feel each and every second of it since these first two episode are just that freaking dull and boring in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this show is a horror show after all that means that I have to actually talk about the actual horror that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual horror that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes was in all honesty not that bad. With these first two episodes having some fairly decent scares in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall you always want to start out with your best foot forward and well these first two episodes sadly aren't this show putting it's best forward since both episodes are lacking in every single aspect in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things about these first two episodes in this very post and i'm not going to be reviewing this show at all since it is such a bad show but as is tradition I also won't be giving these two episodes and rating either.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Resident Evil fandom wiki page , the official Netflix fandom wiki page , IMP Awards .

Night Of The Animated Dead Film Review

It's not uncommon for a popular horror film or a popular film in general to be remade but what is uncommon is for that film to have more...
