My First Impressions Of The Resident Evil Live Action TV Series

Resident Evil fans the day that you have all been dreading is now sadly finally here because Netflix have dropped all eight episodes of the show that nobody wanted. Which means that yours truly has to check it out and in order to give this show a fair shake i'm doing this post based of off the first two episodes of the show and so then join me as I give you my first impressions of the show that nobody wanted with the show in question being called simply just "Resident Evil" enjoy.

The plot of these first two episodes does seem a little hard to figure out not because it's complicated but rather it's virtually none existent. Which for any form of media is always going to be a bad thing since you then rob your show of it's reason to exist and that's sadly what's happened here and it's been robbed of it's chance to get any fans because nobody is going to want to watch a show that has no storyline attached to it in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in these first two episodes is Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker and Ella Balinska as Older Jade Wesker. Also starring in these first two episodes is Siena Agudong as Older Billie Wesker , Tamara Smart as Younger Jade Wesker , Anthony Oseyemi as Roth , Mpho Osei Tutu as Yen , Nicholas Pauling as Tate , Richard Wright-Firth as Maskey , Adrienne Pearce as Mrs Morgan , Michelle Allen as Rhonda and Lauren Steyn as Carol.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes was in all honesty OK at best. This is of course no fault of the cast but rather the episodes scripts which gives all of the actors literally nothing to work with in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

As much as i'd like to credit the correct VFX companies for these two episodes I sadly can't because of the fact that I can't find out who did the VFX for these first two episodes. Which in this case because the CGI that we get in these first two episodes ranges from OK at best to just flat out bad with these first two episodes using CGI in places where you didn't need to use CGI which just goes to show you that makers of this show care more about using flashy effects then they do about telling a good or even a decent storyline in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

It's been a very rough couple of months for the Resident Evil franchise with the film Resident Evil: Welcome To racoon City bombing hard at the box office and now this show getting released with very little to no fanfare. I don't know why Americans seem to be having a very hard time adapting this franchise recently when it should be the easiest franchise in the world to adapt since all your doing is telling a zombie survival story and that's it and yet filmmakers and show makers seem to either not make it fun enough or make it so much fun that it basically becomes a parody of itself in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

For some strange reason the makers of this show thought that it was a good idea to tell this story across two different timelines. Which to be fair isn't that bad of an idea on paper but when you factor into account that this show really doesn't have a story to tell let alone one that you need to tell across two different timelines then the whole thing really does just start to crumble in on itself in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

I will give these first two episodes and thus this show this it is trying to do something new however what that something even is is anybodys guess. Since this show doesn't seem to all that inspired if anything this show comes across as being nothing more then a soulless and lifeless cash grab and nothing more then that since this show and thus these first two episodes is lacking in every single aspect in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then these first two episodes have a combined grand total running time of exactly one hour and fifty minuets exactly. With episode one being one hour one minuet and fifty six seconds and and episode two being forty nine minutes and fifty nine seconds which is basically fifty minuets and yeah you really do feel each and every second of it since these first two episode are just that freaking dull and boring in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this show is a horror show after all that means that I have to actually talk about the actual horror that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual horror that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes was in all honesty not that bad. With these first two episodes having some fairly decent scares in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall you always want to start out with your best foot forward and well these first two episodes sadly aren't this show putting it's best forward since both episodes are lacking in every single aspect in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things about these first two episodes in this very post and i'm not going to be reviewing this show at all since it is such a bad show but as is tradition I also won't be giving these two episodes and rating either.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Resident Evil fandom wiki page , the official Netflix fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Images actually has images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and so then horror fans we ends this review as we always do with our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some very unpleasant dreams.
