Hellsing: Ultimate VII Review

There are some properties that by there very nature are just made to be nothing more then popcorn filler and stuff that doesn't really require your brain in order to make it entertaining. This is the case with Hellsing Ultimate as this show always was and always will be nothing more then dumb fun with alot of cool moments being throne bust because of the fact that there cool and while the series has never really shied away from really having copious amounts of gore this episode really does take it up a level so consider this a gore warning as I review the episode that only really features two of the shows main hero characters in it with the episode in question being called simply just "Hellsing: Ultimate VII" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is with the Hellsing mansion under attack from hoards of vampires and both Integra and Alucard out fighting the vampire war in London it's up to the wounded Seras Victoria and the wounded group of mercenaries The Wild Geese to make sure that all of the vampires are killed of for good. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that;s actually featured / presented t us in this very episode well then in all honesty I inn all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / resented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really well done but at the same time it's also a plot that's on the weak side as well and where as that usually would be seen as being a bad thing in this episode and in this series as a whole it's also something that really does work out really well as not only was the plot of this episode set up in the previous episode but having a thin plot does allow for the episode to have alot more cool looking moments in it and not be withheld back by plot and logic and while yes it would have been nice if the plot of this episode was also a lot more stronger then what it is it's not something that needs to be done with this episode working out just fine with a plot that is rather on the thin side of things with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Yuri Lowenthal as Pip Bernadotte and Karen Strassman as Young Pip Bernadotte and Young Seras Victoria. Also starring in this episode is K.T. Gray as Seras Victoria , Rachel Robinson as Zorin Blitz , Laura Bailey as Schrödinger , Gildart Jackson as The Major , Dino Andrade as A Wild Geese Member , JB Blanc as An SS Leader , Kyle Hebert as A Wild Geese Member , Matthew Mercer as Attacker 2 , Patrick Seitz as Attacker 1 , Doug Stone as Grandfather Bernadotte , this shows voice director Taliesin Jaffe as A Wild Geese Member , Todd Stone as A Wild Geese Member , Zach Hanks as A Wild Geese Member and voice acting legend Travis Willingham as Wild Geese Deputy.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that;s actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that;s actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With all of this episodes actors turning in some really good performances which really isn't all that shocking as alot of them are reprising there roles from the anime TV series and would there for know how best to perform there characters in any given situation with this being helped by the fact that alot of the actors who are playing none named characters are a bunch of really good actors in there own right all of which does make sense this episode acting would be really good as all you'd need to do is look at who is starring in this episode to see why the acting that's in this episode is so good in the first place with this really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the really greats that are currently over at Madhouse. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honest I in all honesty personally thought / felt the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with all of the characters having some really nice fluid movements to them with this episodes animation really helping the action in this episode come alive as that's when this episodes animation really does shine with the episode making some really good use of both 2D hand drawn animation or the characters and some the backgrounds and 3D CGI animation for everything else with both forms of animation blending in really well together and looking really good together as well with both forms of animation looking really good as well and while yes the animation might seem a little bit dated that doesn't really take away from the charm of the animation nor does it take away from the fact that this episodes animation is really good and filled to the brim with some really nice details that would have been alot of work to include in any form of animation as well and yet it's something that's seen all the time in this show and in anime as a whole.

This episode does rightfully go into the backstory of Pip Bernadotte which is something that does make sense. Given that he's kind of the episodes main character but at the same time given that this series is only ten episodes and this is the seventh episode this is something that does come across as being to little to late this is despite the fact that having his backstory in this episode does make alot of sense as it does make his death at the end of this episode seem all the more tragic then what it would have been if we didn't get his backstory and it interesting to see as we find out that he really didn't know that all of the male members of his family were essentially killers just killing people not because of the fact that there bad people but because of the fact that they got paid to do so and that's there job something which happen to the grown up up Pip as well and yet it's not something that feels out of place either as it does add to some dimension to this character as we find out that he was basically this sweet innocent kid who at somepoint in his life joined the family business and never looked back and all of that is due to the chat that we see him have with his grandfather at the start of this episode and while his backstory really doesn't play a part in the actual plot of this episode it at least interesting to see where this character started off knowing that ends in a tragic manor for him in this very episode.

This is also the episode that sees Seras Victoria pretty much complete her series long arc of trying not to loose what's left of humanity and trying to work out of she can keep that humanity whilst also being a newly formed vampire. With her conclusion being done in a way that's very satisfactory as it's something that was well built up not only in this episode but also in the previous episodes as well which means that when she does finally bite the neck of the dead Pip Bernadotte and become a full blown vampire and it does make sense as we've had several episodes at this point to really get to know this character and even in this episode we get some of her backstory where we find out how she became an orphan in the first place with that scene being one of the most disturbing scenes in the show just due to what they show one of the attackers doing to her dead mother with that and the death of Pip Bernadotte being what drives her to become a full blown vampire and become the hero that the rest of the Hellsing Organisation knew that she could be from episode one with her using alot of her vampiric powers in a way that just looks cool and done in a way that proves that this version of the character is more developed then what she once was and is more willing to do whatever it is that she needs to do in order to defeat her foes in any given episode.

As a villain Zorin Blitz really is a solid villain as she uses a combination of psychological and straight up slicing an opponent in half to defeat her foes. Which is a great way to defeat an opponent as pretty much when she gets them mentally then it's all over for them as she can and more then often that not does come out of nowhere to get to het target with her being evil just for the sake of being evil which is something that would usually be a bad thing as it robs the character of any kind of motivation for being who they are but here because of the fact that the character is pretty much mentally insane it does make alot of sense as just like The Joker she's like a dog chasing a car only when she catches the car she makes damn sure that no one in the car makes it out alive with this being helped by the fact that her end goal is directly tied into that of The Major's end goal who just wants the vampire Alucard dead and vampires to rule the world and given that she works for him she really doesn't need an end goal she just needs to go where he sends her and that's really it and while he doesn't send her attack to the Hellsing Manor that does prove that she's a bit of a rebel who will just do whatever she wants to do just because it's fun for her and that is something that does make her an interesting villain for Seras to go up against when she becomes a full blown vampire as while Zorin really isn't a first level boss type of character she's also quite clearly not the final boss level type of character either she's just the right character for Seras t face at this point in time.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly forty six minuets and thirty three seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstandard running time for how to have but with that being said tho this episode really doesn't have alot there interms of plot to really cover that amount of running time as while the backstories for both Pip Bernadotte and Seras Victoria do add something to there characters they don't add anything to the plot of the episode which means that they feel more like filler scenes in this episode and yet at the sae time if they were cut out of the episode the episode would some how feel incomplete but they really wouldn't effect the characters nor there character arcs either as we the audience would already know what there backstory is and fully understand what it is that they went through and yet even with this running time the episode really doesn't take the time to give any of the characters more character development which is something that really does make sense as there are other episodes with those characters in it it in which they might get there character but at the same time tho given that both Seras and Pip Bernadotte serve as being main characters in this episode it would have made more sense for them to also get a bit more characters development in this episode as well but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good paving to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty so good. With this episode basically just being one long action scene that gets occasionally broken up here and there with all of the episodes action being really cool with there being alot of really cool moments in all of this films action be it from the various and very gory deaths that all of the Hellsing security team go through it's quite clear that it's during this episodes action is where the animation really does shine as you straight up get to see characters bones at several points in the episode which yes is a disgusting but at the same time it's also a very cool thing to see with the best action scene in this whole entire episode being the final fight scene between Seras Victoria and Zorin Blitz as it;s something that does serve as a conclusion to Seras's character arc and seeing her turn in a full blown vampire because of her love for Pip Bernadotte does prove that she was able to keep her humanity as she did for a selfless reason and because of that is the fact that we get a really great action scene in the episode which also gives Zorin Blitz herself a really cool looking death scene as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a really solid episode that really does deserve the high rating that's it gotten on IMDB as this really is a really good episode but at the same time it's also not one for the really weaked stomached as do get to see limbs flying everywhere ever couple of seconds but it's all done in a way that really does make sense interms of the plot of the episode in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then  i've talked about all off the good and as well as all of the bad thing that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all oof the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Hellsing fandom wiki page , Tenor and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this very episode being Google Images really simply because Google Images actually really has images from this very episode really are up and on Google Images and really plus pretty  much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images really were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we really do end this review as we really always do with really our one and really true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

Beetlejuice Film Review

Horror sequels are not a new thing with there being alot more sequels to horror films then there are sequels to none horror films. However most of those sequels usually come out a year or two after the release of the first film and yet there's a new sequel coming out next week with the first film coming out in nineteen eighty eight and so then join me as I review the film that helped to make Michael Keaton , Winona Ryder and it's director Tim Burton house hold names with the film in question being called simply just "Beetlejuice" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when the recently deceased couple Adam and Barbera Maitland discover a new family is moving into there home they set about trying everything that they can do to get the family out of there house. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about thew actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with the plot of this film being simple but delightfully so and where as having a simple plot would usually be a bad thing for a film to have in this case it's something that oddly works in the films favor as the film is all about being zany and anarchic and having a deep , dark and complicated plot would get in the way of the film being nothing more then none stop fun with the plot of this film also being fresh and different as no film before or after this film has had a set up quite like this one which does make this film feel unique as well with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Alec Baldwin as Adam Maitland , Geena Davis as Barbara Maitland and Jeffrey Jones as Charles Deetz. Also starring in this film is Catherine O'Hara as Delia Deetz , Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz , Sylvia Sidney as Juno , Robert Goulet as Maxie Dean , Dick Cavett as Bernard , Glenn Shadix as Otho Fenlock , Annie McEnroe as Jane Butterfield , Tony Cox as The Preacher , Jack Angel as The Voice of The Preacher and Michael Keaton as Betelgeuse.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that;s actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films actors turning in some really good and funny performances as well with the best actors in this whole entire film being Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz , Catherine O'Hara as Delia Deetz and Michael Keaton as Betelgeuse as while all of the other actors tat are in this film do indeed turn in soke really performances in this film it's those three that really capture the spirit and tone of the film perfectly with there performances also being the most fun performances as well and that s something that really does allow them to turn in some really good performances in this film with the acting that's in this film also really being helped by the fact that the script for this film is just so good that all this films actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Doing the effects for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Visual Concept Engineering. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the effects that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual effects that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this film making some really good use of practical and stop motion effects with this films use of stop motion being really creative and inventive and it really does go to show you that Tim Burton really did know how to be creative at this point in his career with all of this film practical effects not only looking good but also holding up really really well with all of this films effects looking alot better then CGU ever will ad CGI gets dated very quickly where as with practical effects they very rarely if ever age in a negative way and when there done right like they are in this film they age like fine wine in that they only get better with age with alot of this effects adding to the charm of this film as this film has a very handmade look to it with this films effects reflecting that look as they do look cheap but cheap in a good way.

To be frank this film really does gave some really good characters with nearly all of the films characters even the ones that your meant to hate having something likable about them. Like for example Maitland's even tho they are yes trying to get another family out of there house there doing so because of the fact that to them this house is perfect the way that it is where as Delia is trying to change everything that they loved about the movie and speaking of Delia even tho she is ignoring her daughter with the same thing also being true for Charles as well it's not because of the fact that she's a bad parent because when it really matters there both there for there daughter but rather it's because of the fact that there both busy and that's really it and even Lydia is someone that is just trying to get her parents attention but at the same time she's also stopping them from working as well which does eventually drive her into the arms of Beetlejuice who is basically just a con man but at the same time he also just wants to be loved and hes meant to be someone that were not meant to like but that really does go to show you that all of this films character do have something likable about them thus making it easier for us the audience to form some sort of connection to those characters and it also makes those characters seem alot more really well rounded as well.

For what is basically a kids film this film really does earn it's PG rating as there are alot of really mature scenes in this films. On top of there being some really creative scares as well alot of which are things that PG films made today would be to afraid to include for one reason or another and yet that's exactly what the PG rating was made for so that parents could actually be parents and give there kids guidance and yet even with that in mind the film does go over the top with those moments nor does it really cool attention to those moments with alot of the films more mature moments coming in the form of jokes that are said by the titular Beetlejuice who also give us some of the films more creative scares and there all things that this character would say and do as this character just doesn't care what others think about him and just does whatever it is that he wants to do and isn't afraid to just be himself and because of that that does mean that were going to get alot of more adult themed jokes from this character and alot of really creative and scares from this character as well and it's those things that make the character alot of fun to watch as well and while the character really doesn't appear fully on screen for at least forty five minuets the film somehow has those type of mature jokes and decent scares even without him being shown all that much n the film itself.

Even tho this film is listed as being a comedy film it's also a horror film with the film itself having some really good and creepy scares. While none of this films have any gore in them what makes them creepy is the fact tat there really creative scares like the fact that Beetlejuice can pull his face off to scare people at will and the fact that the end of the table scene several hands come out of the plates to attack the guests those are all really creative scares and there all scares that work really well as half of this films main characters are dead and they would there for no how to do something like that and because of the fact that the film does include moments like that it does go to show you that the makers of this film really did understand these characters and this world and it's during those moments that we get to see how dark Tim Burton can be as you need to be a really dark person to pull of some of this films scares and yet somehow make light of all of  them and that;s something that this film does really well and alot of that does come down to the fact that Tim Burton was a really talented director who was rebelling against the man of Hollywood where as now he basically is the man and there for has no one to rebel against but with that being said tho alot of this films scares aren't as good as they really could have been and really could have been alot of more darker then what they were but given that this is comedy it's understandable that this films jokes weren't all that dark either.

Now then this film has / had a exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty two minuets and six seconds. Which is a solid running tome for this film to have as the film really does have more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that large amount of running time but at the same time tho due to the fact that this film really does have a short amount of running time it does mean that none of the characters can get much in the way of actual character with alot of the development that the characters do indeed get coming out of nowhere and not really feeling earned where as if the film did have a slightly longer running time even by five or ten minutes then all of this films characters can get characters development that really does feel earned and comes at a more natural pace but for some strange the makers of this film chose to give this film a shorter running time despite the fact that they have enough plot to really cover a little bit longer of a running time which would have allowed them to have that earned character development and to have that big dramatic moment with Lydia really feel earned instead of coming out of nowhere but I will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that;s actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that;s actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With this film having alot of painfully funny moments init with alot of the films funny jokes coming from Beetlejuice himself which is something that does make sense as alot of his stuff was ad-libbed on set and all of it works because it fits in with his character perfectly and while he odes get alot of the films really funny jokes the best joke in the whole entire film does of course have to the Day-O table scene as while on paper it's no a funny what makes the joke work is the fact that it's so random and comes out of nowhere that we the audience really can't help but laugh at it as it really is just such a weird scene that it oddly works really well enough for this film and in this films favor as well and that;s also the case for alot of this films jokes as well and because of that is the fact that alot of this films jokes really do work really well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is just so good that you really can see why this film not only spawned a very successful animated series but also a stage musical and really oddly enough a crossover episode with Teen Titans Go and all it does is make you wonder just how good Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is going to be as well as this film really did set the bar pretty high in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very review well does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Beetlejuice fandom wiki page , Tenor , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images really simply because Google Images actually really has images from this film really are up and on Google Images and really plus pretty  much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images really were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we really do end this review as we really always do with really our one and really true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

The Mouse Trap Film Review

Mickey Mouse is the worlds most famous mouse and yet for some strange reason when Disney let the copyright on what is technically his second ever cartoon expire. Horror filmmakers leapt at the chance to tell a story that the house of mouse would never be able to tell with there iconic mascot with this film also being one of many in a long line of films that are based off of a beloved cartoon character and so then join me as I review the film that sees Mickey Mouse become a serial killer with the film in question being called simply just "The Mouse Trap" enjoy.

The plot of the film is when a group of friends go to surprise a friend at the arcade where she works for her birthday they all find themselves attacked by a man wearing a Mickey Mouse mask. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty for lack of a better word weird but not in a good way as the film doesn't even tell a complete story with the film just ending for no rhyme or reason with the films plot not really coming to any kind of conclusion with the plot of this film also being fairly weak at best and at it's worst just down right bad as the plot just comes an goes as and when it pleases and yet when it is here and is focused on it's just not that interesting of a plot either with the films plot just being the kind of plot that you'd expect to find in a film like this ne only without any of the fun or charm that you'd really want from the plot of film like this one to have with the plot of this film also being not really rather entertaining and as well as not rally being really rather engaging either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Sophie McIntosh as Alex Fen , Madeline Kelman as Jayna and Ben Harris as Ryan. Also starring in this film is Callum Sywyk as Marcus , Mireille Gagné as Gemma , James Laurin as Paul , Kayleigh Styles as Jackie , Mackenzie Mills as Rebecca , Jesse Masmith as Danny , Allegra Nocita as Marie , Damir Kovic as Detective Cole , Nick Biskupek as Detective Marsh and this films writer and one of this films producers Jack Says and Kill Keith star Simon Phillips as Tim Collins / Mickey Mouse.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual actin that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films acting really being alot better then what it really had any right to be as no one would have expected great or even good acting from a low budget film like this one and while this films acting isn't that good it's certainly alot better then what it really should have been as it's quite clear as day that this film mostly unknown actors rea;;y are indeed all trying there best to turn in a good performance even given this films somewhat really weird concept with the acting that's in this film not really being helped by this film script as this films script gives none of this films actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that rally does help to lower the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

To give this film some sort of credit it does have a rather unique setting that being an arcade which is a setting that really isn't used in horror films. While this film doesn't really use it's setting to it's full advantage it is still a fun setting for a horror film and it's one that really does allow for alot of really creative kills and alot of really creative scares as well just due to the fact that the killer can appear in so many places that they just couldn't do in another slasher film and it also means that the victims can also be stored in the games themselves which just that very thought in of itself is such a cool idea that it makes you wonder why other horror films haven't used an arcade as a setting for there film just due for the amount of creative things that you could really do in that setting and on top of that is the fact that for a small independent feature film like this one it's a really great setting as it means that the film already has all of it's locations in one big location instead of having to pay for studio space you can just use all of the locations that you can find in an arcade and just go wild in them but at the same time there is only so many places that you can have the killer appear from before it gets really old as does the fact that are only so many places where you can have the victims stored before it's becomes repetitive as well.

For all of you that perhaps don't know this film was only made because of the fact that the copyright on what is technically the first ever Mickey Mouse cartoon Steamboat Willie ran out at the start of the year. Which means that this version of Mickey Mouse and all of the characters that appear in that short and the short film itself can be used in none Disney related media with this film being the first horror film to do just that as not only do they use Mickey Mouse which yes they mention by name several times but they also have the original short film playing not only in the films opening credits but also in the actual film itself with this film following the trend that was started back in the 2023 film Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey in that it uses a very well known Disney character but now it puts them in a new light by making them the villain of a slasher film only this film at ;east has the common sense to make this film a horror comedy the issue being that the jokes that this film tries to tell aren't even that funny and as all alot of them are are just them commenting on the fact that they can now use Mickey Mouse in a horror film and that's really it and there's only so many times that you can here jokes like that before it starts to get old and boring.

The worst thing that can be said about this film is the fact that it's forgettable as that's exactly what this film it's forgettable. Just to give you all an example of just hoe forgettable this film is this review is being written a few hours after the films finished and I can barely remember what happened in the film as yes this film did the impossible it made a Mickey Mouse horror film which should be really memorable somehow forgettable that is something that really does take alot of skill as on paper this film should be memorable just for the share fact that it has perhaps the most beloved cartoon mouse as a horror film villain and yet for some strange reason the makers of this film chose to make this film really forgettable by giving us bland characters , a sub-plot involving one of the survivors of this film telling the police about the plot of this film which goes nowhere and only serves to set up a post credits scene and that's it and heck even this films unique setting which while yes does help the film stand out a bit doesn't really do enough to make the film feel all that memorable and even the films carboard cutout characters aren't really all that memorable either as alot of them only have one function in the film and that's really it and even then the film doesn't really allow them to fulfill that function due to the fact that the film just stops.

As was just mentioned this films characters aren't really all that memorable as pretty much all of them just have one characteristic each and that's really it. Heck even in the main bulk of the film the film even forgets about one character in he film and she's meant to be the main character of the police portion of the film and yet she's barely even mentioned and she's the most interesting character in the movie as at least the makers of this film went through some effort to make this character at least somewhat interesting even if it was just by making her a goth girl and that's really it it's still better then what the rest of the characters get which is just the stick traits from a stereotypical slasher film only with nothing new added to them to make them standout and nothing interesting about them to make those traits feel new and different again but this film does get some credit for killing of who we are meant to believe is this films final girl Alex Fen as she just had nothing interesting about her character with her trait being that she's the typical all American girl next door kind of character and that's really it except the film does nothing new or interesting with her character and as a result of that is the fact that all of this films characters barring goth girl Rebecca.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty minuets and ten seconds. Which is about the right amount of time for a film like this one to have as the film really doesn't have all that much there interms of plot to really cover a longer running time and while yes it would have helped the film if the film really did have a much more longer running time as that allow for the makers of the film to fully develop there characters alot more beyond the one character trait that they all seem to have it would also mean making this films plot even weaker and giving this film alot of pointless filler scenes that would add nothing to the overall plot of the film but on the plus side is the fact that it would also allow the film to actually have a complete ending and not end on a scene that's blatantly sequel baiting by teasing the arrival of a Minnie Mouse and while this film does a solid running time this film is also one that if it was shorter would have actually helped the film more then hurt it as it would then allow the plot of the film to be alot more focused then what it already is as the films plot is a really weak plot that really isn't focused all that much either but I will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is slasher film that means that I gave to actually talk about all of the kills that are actually in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. However thats also the problem as this films kills aren't all the good either as alot of this films kills are just this films killer walking up behind one of his victims killing them with a knife and that's really it and while that does work for the kind of horror film that this is it;s also one one that not only gets old and boring really fast but its also one that shows off just how cheaply that this film was made as those kind of kills require very little practical effects and can there for be done very cheaply unlike with Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey which whilst it was a very cheaply made film it at the very least had alot of really creative kills that you remember where with this film there's only kill that's memorable and that's really it and outside of the fact that the killer is someone dressed up as Mickey Mouse having one memorable kill isn't enough to save this films kills from feeling dull and boring in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film really isn't fun nor as funny as it really should have been as it doesn't really take full advantage of the fact that it's basically got Mickey Mouse as it's main villain which is something that really does allow itself a really fun film and yet this film just doesn't give us any of that whatsoever in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then  i've talked about all of the good and as ell as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 4.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for whee I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Disney fandom wiki page , Tenor and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images really simply because Google Images actually has images from this film really are up and on Google Images and really plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images really were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we end this review as we really always do with really our one and really true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

Alien: Romulus Film SPOILER FILLED Film Review

There are quite alot of truly iconic horror franchises out there from Evil Dead to Friday The 13th and many more. With one of those franchise also being the Alien franchise and it's that franchise that like alot of horror franchises has been seeing alot of ups and downs recently and well then the newest film in the Alien franchise has just been released in cinemas and well the  then you all just new that I had to check this film the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the fil that has the hon or of t being the first Alien film to be technically produced by Disney with the film in question being called simply just "Alien: Romulus" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when a bunch of scavengers go out to scavenge an old space station or spare parts they find something on there that they weren't quite expecting to find. Now then interms of what I personally thought felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with the plot of the film being something that's oddly different and yet somehow the same from the Alien films that have come before us with the plot of this film doing a good job oof building up the threat of the Xenomorphs in a way that doesn't feel to condescending to older fans and yet at the same time done in a way that's friendly for potential new fans of this franchise as well with the plot of this film really being helped by the fact that's it's a plot that feels like that it was written by the fans and for the fans by people who are genuinely fans of the Alien franchise with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Pacific Rim Uprising and The Craft: Legacy Cailee Spaeny as Rain and Industry David Jonsson as Andy. Also starring in this film is Morbius , Upgraded , Catherine Called Birdy , The Greatest Beer Run Ever and The Other Zoey Archie Renaux as Tyler , Transformers: The Last Knight , Dora And The Lost City of Gold and Madame Web star Isabela Merced as Kay , Spike Fearn as Bjorn and Aileen Wu as Navarro.

Now then interms of what I personally thought /felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought  felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films actors turning in some truly fantastic performances which is mostly due to the fact that this films co-writer and director Fede Álvarez really does know how to get a good performance out of his cast something that he's proven time and time again with all of his films and it's something that's reaffirmed here with this film as all of his actors manage to turn in some really good performance so much so that you stop seeing the actors and you start to see the character as that's just how well cast all of this films actors really are and just how good the acting that's in this film really is as well with the acting that's in this film really being helped by the fact the script for this film really is so well written that all this films actors really have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really doe help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Doing the CGI for this film is Atomic Arts , Clear Angle Studios , Fin Design & Effects , Gentle Giant Studios , Image Engine Design , Industrial Light & Magic , Legacy Effects , Logan , Metaphysic , NVIZ , Studio Gillis , Track VFX and Wylie Co. Now then interms of what I personally thought /felt about the CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI thats actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with the film using a very good mixture of both practical effects and CGI with the practical effects being used to help out the CGI effects which is a good way to use CGI as then all your doing is enhancing what was on there on the day to certain degree and your also able to match things up like the lighting from the set which in turn helps the CGI effect feel like it's actually there as it really does look like that it was actually with the CGI in this film also being good due to the fact that it also has some really good effects companies working on it as well.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

This film does in it's own own way feature actor Ian Holm as his likeness and voice is used for the new character Rook with the character being played ad voiced by Daniel Betts. The character of Rook does seem like a pointless character as he really does nothing other then talk to fellow droid Andy and that's really it and while yes he does warn the current crew about the face huggers when when of there own is attacked and of course killed by one that's not really enough to justify his inclusion in the film as they could have done all of that just by having Andy access the ships computers and find out all f the information that way which would have gotten across the exact same amount of information in a way that also gives that character something else to do as apart from serving as the groups muscle and having him help the crew out several times he could then also be served as the audience character so that when he finds something out as a character we the audience are given that exact same information as well and while yes granted getting the information across that way could be seen as being pretty boring as there's no way in heck that you could do that in a way that feels natural it does also feel right for that character as he would go and check out information about where he is and find what he can about what's there as well.

As a film that's meant to be set in between Alien and Aliens the film does somewhat work as both a prequel and a sequel. As we find out that the ship that the crew are on is a rogue Weyland-Yutani ship. Which does kind of ask the question of how the Xenomorphs moved from one ship to another without other ships finding out about them and requesting help from other ships with this new ship being a really nice looking ship that does have alot of really good looking sets that would have by really interesting to see in a future prequel just so that they could explain how they went from one ship to another as that is something that there going to have answer at somepoint down the line and this is something that could have been avoided if they just set that the ship that the team are on is Nostromo which does make a very brief appearance near the start of the film in a fun little easter egg which does make this film again feel like that it was made for the fans of the first by people who were fans of the first film which is something that does work well enough in this films favor as the fans know what it is that works well enough in the Alien franchise and if the reviews are anything to go by then it's also the fans that were right about this film being that good as well.

Just to further hit home that this film was made for the fans by the fans this film really does take it's time building up it's tension. Something that was gone by Aliens and outright never even came back in the two prequel films and it is something that should have been brought back alot more sooner then what it was as its the tension of this film that makes this film all the more creepy and scary as even tho it take around about one hour to get to the very first reveal of the Xenomorph and you don't notice that it's been that long because of the fact that the tension was that well built up and it's something that this films co-writer and director Fede Álvarez does really well as even tho he got to the scares really quickly in his Evil Dead remake when it came to Don't Breathe on the other hand he took his time letting the tension build up and up and up before getting to a proper scare something that is also the case for this film and it works as it fully absorbs you into the world that this film takes place and it gets to the point where your just begging something actually scary to happen just so that you can't have that relief and when it doesn't all it does is make you more tense which then makes it really all the more better when the film does get to it's chest buster scene and the first reveal of the villains of this film as well as both of those are really well done and that's because of the fact that the film really took it's time to get to both of those moments and really made you wait for both of those moments as well.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and fifty one minuets and ne second. Which is a solid running tie for this film as the film really does have more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that large amount of running time and to this films credit it really does need that amount of running time in order to tell it's story in a really effective manor as there's nothing that you could cut form this film without it effecting the overall story as a whole which would make it very hard to cut down on alot of scenes without going back to the very beginning of the films development and the film really does take as full advantage of that running time as it really could have done and while yes the film would have been better if the film took the time to really fully develop it's characters which make there deaths all the effective then what they actually really are but at the same time tho that would also mean filling up the film with scenes that might very well seem like filler scenes and because of that they would also run the risk of making this film feel alot more slower paced then what it actually is but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a horror film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With this film having alot of really creepy and really inventive kills and alot of that does come from the fact that the film does take it's time in getting to even the first film and while yes the chest buster kill isn't that new or inventive it is done in a way in this film that make that kill feel all the more personal and while alot of the kills that are in this film don't really do that the ones that do are the ones that stand out with the best kill in the whole entire film coming just before the full reveal of the Xenomorph as it's tail cuts a guys throat open and then the all you see is Acid blood from the Xenomorph just drop onto the person that just got there throat slit which was just such ab inventive kill to do as it shows you just how far these creatures are willing to go in order to kill of anyone that isn't them and because of that we really did geta  really good kill out of it in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall while it's far to early to tell if this is a return to form for this franchise it is on the right track to being a return to form but sadly only time well tell if this film is a true return to form this franchise as anyone can make one good Alien film but it takes skill to make more good ones tho in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review ad as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Disney fandom wiki page , the official Xenomorph fandom wiki page , Tenor and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being the official Xenomorph fandom wiki page really simply because the official Xenomorph fandom wiki page actually has images from this film really are up and on the official Xenomorph fandom wiki page and really plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on the official Xenomorph fandom wiki page really were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we end this review as we really always do with really our one and really true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Film SPOILER FILLED Film Review

Sequels to hit films are a given how they usually come out within a few years of the original film coming out. The same thing cannot be said...
