Wickedness Film Review

With ever popular film there of course comes two things the first of which is a sequel and the second of which is a knock off movie. Well Wicked turned out to be a really popular movie and it's sequel is already out however there is also a horror themed knock off movie out as well with it being that film that i'm going to be talking to you all about today and so then join me as I review the film that makes The Asylum more subtle with the film that it's knocking off with the film in question being called simply just "Wickedness" enjoy.

The plot of this film is ten years after her sister is cursed and locked away in a mental asylum for killing there wizard parents a young girl must now fight to survive when her sister breaks out and vows to kill her on there birthday. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really bad with the films plot being barely watchable at best as the plot of the film is just so thinly drawn out that at times it was hard to make out what the actual plot of this film is even meant to be in the first place heck the plot of any Asylum film is much more better then the plot of this film as they at least try to put effort into there plots where as this is film is best described as being Harry Potter meets Wicked but lame with it being made clear as day that the makers of this film are just hoping that people will confuse this film with Wicked and therefor they chose not to give the film a plot that works which is a ashame as on paper this is a plot that really could have worked it just needed a creative that actually cared about it enough to make it work and not be the mess of a plot that it ultimately ends up being with the films plot barely a strong plot to support a film it just needed a few more passes at the script writing stage to make it all the more better then then what it currently is as right now in it's present form this films plot is laughable at best and downright boring and insulting at it's worst with the plot of this film also not really being really rather entertaining and nor is it really rather engaging either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Rebecca Rose McILroy as Maret , Christopher Blackmore as Gorwin and Nicola Ditter as Aymer. Also starring in this film is Clara Legallais-Moha as Desielle , Brynmor Leyshon as Udor , Alesia Lifantii as Ibees , Graeme Muncer as Edwin , Lynne O'Sullivan as Ms. Thinner , Laryssa Ivy Pereira as Vestelle , Sophie Rankin as Aradia , Serena-Elizabeth as Phelorna , Mary Eva Sharp as Ena and Karolina Wojciechowska as Sabrina.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually feature / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really bad. With this being due to the fact that all of this films actors are a bunch of really unknown and very cheap to get actors and therefor expecting good or even decent quality acting from them wouldn't have been the smartest of movies but in saying that that you do expect OK acting even from a cheaply made British Indie film such as this one and yet we barely get that in this film as whilst this films actors are indeed trying there best this is a case where there best just isn't good enough as alot of them are wooden and robotic at best with alot of them barely having any kind of emotion in scenes where they should have lots of emotion with the best actor in this film being quite easily Rebecca Rose McIlroy as Maret as she's the only one that looks like she's actually having fun in this film with her chewing up all of the scenery in every single scene that she's in and whilst it really does look like that the green paint used to make her skin look green is coming off half of the time you can tell that she's really having a blast playing this more deranged version of Elphaba with the acting that's in this film not really being helped by the fact that this films script is just so bad as it gives none of this films actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there actual characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does help to hurt the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

This film does include something new from the writer of Fairest Of Them All that being the use of magic. However tho he forgot to do one very simple thing and that's explain how magic works in this world as according to this film anyone can be witch or wizard with it not being explained if they are born with there powers or if they train to get them or what having powers means for the rest of the world heck Wizards Of Waverly Place a kids TV show from almost two decades ago explained the ules of magic better in there show then what writer Harry Boxley does in his movie with even the big thing that's meant to stop magic from being used in the first place just being called anti-magic which is just a lame and uncreative name for something like that and they don't explain what anti-magic is either look granted with any fantastical film you have to be able to suspend your disbelief or else the film falls apart but you still need to ground your film in some of logic for that work and this is something that the makers of the film don't do with them just throwing everything at the wall and expecting us the audience not to question it when all that does is cause us to hit our heads so hard from questioning what it is that we're even seeing in the first place yet at the same time tho the film does indeed get some of credit for at least trying to include CGI which granted does look a little bit wonky but that's to be expected given the fact that this film had the budget of a shoelace which would have meant that the films effects budget would be even smaller but alot of the time the spells that the characters are casting look like there not even hitting the person that there meant to be hitting and they also look like that there floating just near the person and not outright hitting them.

It's pretty obvious both from the films title and the fact that the main villain of the film is a witch with green skin that this is film is meant to be a knock off of the 2024 film Wicked. However it lacks all of the basics to t least make this film a film that's so bad that it's good with the film not being entertaining to watch in the first place and nothing about the film is explained at all and heck the film is even a year out to cash in fully on the Wicked phenomena to The Asylum's credit when they do a knock off film they at the very least release it a few days or weeks before the film that there knocking off comes out with them also being alot more subtler then this film as to what it is that there knocking off in the first place where as here the makers of this film just outright tell you on the films poster that this is going to be a horror version of Wicked only without any of the good songs put in it and what's worse is that this is a film that could have worked as a knock off film if they did just two things the first of which being if they released this film alot more closer to the release date of Wicked and not the release date of Wicked: For good and the second of which being if they went all in on what it was that they were knocking off in the first place which they very easily could have done given the fact that The Wizard Of Oz is in the public domain and heck there even releasing a horror version of the book soon as well both of which would have made this film not only more enjoyable to watch as while yes it still would have been a really bad film but it at the very least would have been a film that's so bad that it's good and it also would tricked more people into buying this film for there kids so they would have made more money off of it and heck they could have released it into theaters as well to make a little bit more money of the film.

Like alot of badly done British independent films this film just looks cheap which granted the makers of the film really cold help with. As they do have a very tine budget but at the same time tho it would have helped your film out alot if there was some effort and some thought put into making it look good as films like Popeye The Slayer Man do prove that you can be a small knock off film but still have some actual effort put into it as alot of the shots in this film just look bland and lifeless with there not being alot of color to the film which makes the film look ugly and while granted the makers of this film were more then likely just using whatever material they could find at the time as a way to save money which would be fair enough there still needs to be some creativity in what kind of shots that your getting as in this film we only mostly get static shots where the camera doesn't move with alot of the shots being mid close up shots and that's really it and yet the odd time where we do get some creative it really does stand out as we do get some drone shots which look good and the odd times where the camera does move goes a long way into making this film feel like an actual film and something that some friends made and put up on Youtube and yet the fact that the makers of this film mostly went with the cheaper option instead of trying new things all it does is make this film look even more bland then what it is in the first place when this is film that due to it's subject matter of witchcraft does allow you do some creative shots and if the makers of this film gave the film some color instead mostly keeping it blue or grey it would have made the film alot more pleasant to watch with the film even having peach at the start of the film which was nice but it did also look a little big off putting as well.

Merit as a villain is just your typical horror villain with nothing new added to her outside of the fact that she's a witch. With her big thing in this film being the fact that she wants to get revenge on her sister for having her locked up in a mental asylum for ten years which is a decent and with the fact that due to the curse that her sister put upon her ten years ago she now only gets pleasure from killing members of her own family which would be in an interesting thing to have in the film if he film bothered to develop that aspect of her character at all as nothing about her character gets explained as we don't get to see the bond between Merit and her sister Aradia isn't established all that well as when the film starts we see Merit getting turned into the green skinned witch that she stays like for the rest of the film with her staying evil for the rest of the film when it would have been all the more tragic if we saw them as normal sisters at the start of the film as then it would have made it all the tragic when Aradia has to kill her sister at the end of the film and while Merit is a really fun character to watch in the film the rest of the films characters are just as bland and just as boring as you'd expect from writer Harry Boxley as all of the characters that he seems to create feel just as dull and lifeless as the films that he writes for as there is nothing to this films characters that make them standout from each other with the only thing that makes Gorwin stand out from all of the other characters is the fact that he's a male and that's it and heck Aradia is so boring as a protagonist that I had to rewatch bits of the film again just to get her name as she's that dull of a character.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and eleven minuets and fifty six seconds. Which is a fairly decent running time for this film to last as it's a film that really doesn't need that long of a running time to tell it's already really thinly drawn out story in the first place with this film having just about the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time in the first place with the film not even using what extremely limited running time that it has in the first place to fully develop it's plot in the first with it feeling like that things are just happening for the sake of it and not because of the fact that the plot demands and heck Merit even kills people that aren't apart of her bloodline which goes against what little character that she has in the first place with the film not even developing it's characters either as all of the films characters come across as being very one dimensional characters as all of them having nothing interesting about them with this is even being true for Merit who despite being the best character in the film is just a dull and boring character to watch in the film albeit she's not as bad as the rest of the films characters as there was some effort into making her an entertaining character where as all of the rest of the films characters are dull and boring characters with this being something that could have been fixed if the makers of this film actually put in some effort into making sure that both it's plot and characters were well done instead of making sure that we knew this was a Wicked knock off film but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a horror film that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With all of this films kills not really being that creative as they all involve Merit using her powers to cast some sort of spell and that's really it and while that is to be expected given then fact that the main villain of this film is a witch but at the same time tho it would have been nice to see a verity of the types of kills that we got in this film as that would have given us the chance to see just how creative that Merit could be as a killer whereas only seeing one type of kill only limits the types of kills that we can see in the film with there not really being a best kill in the film as there all just bland kills that sound great on paper but due to the films incredibly small budget with all of this films kills being very limited in what they can look like due to how small that the budget is as they all involve some really bad looking effects that don't look like that there causing harm to anyone and yet when a film is a bit a witch as the main villain then there really should have been a lot more thought into what they could do with this films tiny budget as the films budget does nothing for the films kills this is despite the fact that having a witch as the main villain is something that has worked before in something like The Craft for example and yet here it felt like that idea was undercooked with the films kills really suffering because of it in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall does it really need saying at this point in the review as this film really is a dreadful film and one that does deserve to not be seen by anyone as it's just a dull and boring film that is nothing more then a cheaply made knock off of Wicked and that's really it as that's all there is to this film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 1 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Tenor , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Images actually has images from this film really are up and on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we end this review as we always do with really our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

Saw V Film Review

Out of all of the horror franchises out there the Saw franchise has to be the most divisive one there with some either loving it or hating it. There is one thing however that can't be denied that being the fact that these films made a boat load of money so much so that the franchise is STILL going on to this very day with the film that i'm going to be talking to you all about today however being one of the most forgettable ones in the franchise and so then join me I review the film that is the first Saw film in a while to take place after the events of the Saw III with the film in question being called simply just "Saw V" enjoy.

The plot of this film is Agent Strahm finds himself in the middle of another Jigsaw case and has to find out who this new Jigsaw killer is before it's to late all the while another deadly Jigsaw game has begun. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films plot yes being the typical Saw plot at this point with the film not really deviating away from that which is something that does make this films plot seem forgettable at best as all it does is blend in with all of the other Saw films be they good or bad but in all fairness to this film it is something that does still work really well as the set up to all of the Saw films will always work no matter how many times that set up is repeated and watered down however tho when your five films in and you don't do anything new with the plot then that does mean that your not being creative and that is something that does ring true for this film as the plot of this film is just so forgettable and unimaginative that it could be the plot of quite literally any other Saw movie and you wouldn't need to change a thing about it's plot when the makers of this film could have added anything to the plot to help this film stand out from a plot point of view with this films plot not really being the strongest plot in the franchise but given that this film is just copying the plots of all of the other Saw films that is something that could also be said for those films as well and it's not something that's unique to this film with the plot of this film not really being really rather entertaining and nor is it really rather engaging either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Tobin Bell as Jigsaw / John Kramer , Costas Mandylor as Mark Hoffman and Scott Patterson as Agent Strahm. Also starring in this film is Betsy Russell as Jill , Julie Benz as Brit , Meagan Good as Luba , Mark Rolston as Dan Erickson , Carlo Rota as Charles , Greg Bryk as Mallick , Laura Gordon as Ashley , Joris Jarsky as Seth , Mike Butters as Paul , Al Sapienza as The Chief Of Police , Mike Realba as Detective Fisk , Jeff Pustil as Bernie , Dana Sorman as A Law Office Receptionist , Sheila Shah as Special Agent Cowan , Samantha Lemole as Pamela Jenkins , Lyriq Bent as Rigg , Athena Karkanis as Agent Perez , Justin Louis as Art , Bahar Soomekh as Lynn , Niamh Wilson as Corbett , Angus Macfadyen as Jeff , Tony Nappo as Gus , Tim Burd as Obi and Sarah Power as Angelina.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. Which is something that is to be expected from these Saw films as they are films that don't really require good acting in them to make them work as the stars of these films are never the actors there always the traps with the films acting taking a backseat to them but with that said those that you do expect a good performance like Tobin Bell and Costas Mandylor really are good in this film with them delivering the exact same performance that you'd expect from them and while that is a good thing as they are a pair of wonderful actors in there own right it's also a negative thing as well as it's the exact performance that you do expect from both of these actors with there being nothing new or interesting thrown into the mix with this being a result of the fact that these Saw films were produced very quickly and so the films actors would most likely have not have had enough time for a take to with this meaning that alot of this films acting does feel like the kind of acting that you'd see in a first take with the best actor in this film being Tobin Bell as even tho he's not really in the film all that much you can tell that he's having fun with the role and does love playing the character of John Kramer with him delivering a performance that can be seen as being really creepy with the acting that's in this film not really being helped by the fact that this films script is just so bad as it gives none of this films actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does harm the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Much like alot of the aspects of these films the films characters really do play second fiddle to the films traps. With all of this film newer characters being painfully bland and boring characters which is something that does make alot sense as they just there to die and don't really need to be all that interesting as characters but at the same time tho there should have been some effort from the makers of this film into making this films newer characters likable as then we the audience would have a reason to want to see them survive this films traps and to make it to the end of the film and yet the film doesn't really give us a reason to care for any of these characters when all of the best saw films do make an effort into giving us good characters that we want to see more off with the only interesting characters in this film being the returning characters from the previous films and that's really it and even that's more due to the fact that there helping push along the story of Saw's four through seven and that's really it where as the new characters in this film or the characters that are excusive to this film are left being less then one dimensional characters when it would have helped the film be less of a bore to watch if the films characters were likable and if we were given a reason to care for them outside of the fact that Jigsaw is the villain and there the good guys look the Saw films very rarely if ever give us good characters especially when there the ones that are going through the traps but even so there still needed to be effort put into them as otherwise all we have is death scenes that we don't really care about because of the fact that we don't care about the characters in them.

This if the first film since Saw III to take place after the events of that film as both that film and Saw IV take place at the exact same time as each other. With Saw IV only very briefly taking place after the events of Saw III with this being an interesting thing to do as now we get to see what a post John Kramer world looks like and while it doesn't really look any different from the previous movies as the only thing of note being the fact that the police hold a meeting to declare that the Jigsaw murders are no more and that's really it which is kind of interesting as the police side of things doesn't really effect the main game in this film where as it would have done in the previous films with this being due to the fact that they do believe that Jigsaw is dead and while the film really doesn't take as full advantage of the fact that the police don't really know that there's a new Jigsaw killer in town it really doesn't need to as to help to make this film work the police do have to fully believe that Jigsaw is dead and while we do have Agent Strahm still working the case for them it doesn't play in the main plot of the film until the third act with him mainly being concerned with trying to find out who Jigsaw's secret apprentice is and that's it but in saying this tho it would have been nice to see how alot of the other characters reacted to news of John's death as we know that he's always five steps ahead of everyone else and so it would have been interesting to see how characters from the other films felt about this man who had tortured them basically being killed of as it does beg the question would he be hailed as a hero by the public or would he hailed as the villain with this being something that no Saw film has dared to tackle which is a shame as it is an interesting take on the series mythology.

The biggest sin that this film could ever commit was the fact that it's forgettable as there's nothing all that memorable about this film. With this being odd as all of the other Saw films including the bad ones have at the very least one thing about them that makes you remember that film and yet here there's just nothing as the film is instead more focused on giving us some admittedly decent traps then it is in giving things that make it memorable heck even now it's hard to remember anything that happens in this film as it all just feels very samey like the film is more focused on being the typical Saw film that it's forgotten what it was that made the Saw films memorable in the first place with this now doubt being due to the fact that the director of this film David Hackl was making his directorial debut with the film after serving as production designer in Saw's two through four and second unit director on Saw IV and while him having been the production designer on the previous films does help to make the sets look good as he gets to film the traps in new and interesting ways it's that inexperience in making a film that really does let the film down as this is a film that would have benefitted from having a more experienced hand directing it as then whomever they got to direct the film would know how best to film this script and how best to make this film stand out from a visual standpoint and that's not something that David Hackle can do and while that's not his fault as he was making his directorial debut with the film it is something that should have been taken into account when the makers of this film were looking for someone to direct the film in the first place.

The one thing that this film does have going for it is the fact that we get to see just how far that Mark Hoffman is willing to go. Be it getting revenge for the death of his wife or for keeping secret the fact that he's the new Jigsaw killer which is something that is really interesting as it makes him look like someone who is always two steps ahead of everyone around him as he knows that Strahm would never have listen to the full tape to begin with as he's more concerned with catching Hoffman then he is is own safety with Hoffman playing into that aspect of his character with him making it look like that Strahm is new Jigsaw so regardless of if Strahm lived or died he was always going to get the blame for these new set of killings whilst Hoffman would have been recognized as being a hero and someone to admire but in saying this tho it makes no sense that John Kramer would have to secret apprentices at the same time as he is a character that would only work with one person at a time with both Amanda and Hoffman being the kind of characters that really wouldn't get along with each other regardless of who there common alley and friend is in the first place let alone the fact that it would mean that there would have been apprentices helping him at all times when it makes more sense for him to just be having the one apprentice with this being something that could have been fixed by showing John openly reject Hoffman's help with Hoffman becoming obsessed with copying John so much so that when John does infact die he doesn't become the new Jigsaw killer he becomes a copycat killer who believes that he's smarter then John because of the fact that he knows how the police work.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty five minuets and three seconds. Which to be fair to this film is pretty much the bogstandard running time for these Saw films to have and again to fair to this film this film really does have the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time even if it doesn't use it's running time all that wisely in the first place as the plot of this film isn't all that well developed with this films plot being at best paper thin as the film doesn't really focus on it's plot all that much with the police side of things feeling like an afterthought when compared to the films traps and so the makers of the film don't really take the time that they really could have done to fully develop the plot of the film as this is something that would then make the big twist at the end  but because of the fact that the makers of this film cared more about the traps then they did about anything else with this even being true for the films characters as well as even the films returning characters get nothing in the way of character development with us knowing as much about the films characters coming out of the film then we did coming into the film and yet if the film bothered to give the characters some kind of character development then it would have the film alot more better because of it and while the characters in other films would get alot more better the ones in this film come across as being really undercooked with this being true for the films returning characters as well as the film doesn't bother to add anything to them that makes feel more developed as characters but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a horror fil that really does mean that I have to talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films traps being the best aspect of the film with this being something that really does make alot of sense as by this point in the films the traps were the main reason to be going to a Saw film in the first place and while the traps in this film aren't as good as the traps in the other films there some decent traps in this film that are really effective in their own right with the best example of this film being The Bow Tie trap where the victims have to work together to get keys from a box to unlock the devices from around there necks and yet because they don't it ends up with one of them getting there head chopped off with the films best kill not even being in it's best trap as the best kill is when Luba gets electrocuted as the other victims have to cause enough voltage from one person to unlock a door with the visual of her hacking whilst this electricity is coming out of her being a very effective death however the best trap is ironically the one that comes right after where the remaining two victims have to put there hands in a container whilst a saws the hand in half as they have to produce enough blood to stop the trap itself something which they very easily could have done if they all worked together all throughout the game but because they didn't it know means that they two victims left now have to produce twice as much blood with them almost dying in the process with the sight of Mallick's half severed off hand being a really gory visual in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is nothing then the typical Saw film with the film having nothing new added to the setup that makes it feel unique as even the big twist of if Strahm had listened to the tape fully and got in the box he would then be OK feeling like something that's been done before in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in his very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very film from Tenor , IMP Awards .

Predator: Badlands Film SPOILER FREE Film Review

The Predator franchise is one that more often then not sees decades pass between each film and yet when Prey was a hit it really was a shock to see a second film from the same director get announced pretty much right away. Well now then here we are with that film having just been released into theaters and well you all just knew that I was going to be checking this film out the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FREE of the film that is actually the second Predator film to get released this year with the film in question being called simply just "Predator: Badlands" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when a young alien Predator crash lands on a dangerous planet he must team with an android to bring back the one kill that will see him get welcomed back into his family. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot thats actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with the films plot actually doing something new with the franchise by showing us a young Predator going on what is presumably his first ever hunt and while the film doesn't really go as far as it really could have done with that idea the idea alone is more then strong enough to support the film on it's own with the plot of the film not really focusing on the hunt itself but rather the friendship between two characters which is nice but that's not why you come to watch a Predator movie as you come to one of these to see the characters getting stalked by this seemingly impossible killing machine but to be fair tho when your this many films in a franchise you do have to do new things to keep people going to see your movie and in the case of this film that does include showing a young Predator going on a hunt in a very dangerous planet with the plot of this film being as strong as it was ever going to be as let's be honest here nobody goes to see these movies for there plots and therefor it is interesting when we get a film that does have a really good plot to it an it makes you wonder why alot of the other films didn't have good plots to them as well with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Elle Fanning as Thia and Tessa and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as Dek and the voice of Dek's Father. Also starring in this film is Reuben De Jong as Njohrr / Apex Predator / Father , Mike Homik as Kwei , Stefan Grube as the voice of Kwei , Rohinal Nayaran as Bud , Cameron Brown as Smyth , Alison Wright as the voice of MU/TH/UR and Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer as the voice of Kewi's Computer.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films actors turning in some really good performances which is something that is both shocking and yet at the same time makes complete and total sense with it being shocking due to the fact that much like Prey this film is mostly made up of unknown or very little known actors and therefor it would have been foolish to expect a good performance from them and yet at the same time it's not that shocking due to the fact that Elle Fanning is starring in this film and she does nine times out of ten turn in some really good performances in her movies with the same thing being true for this film with her even being the films best actor due to the fact that she plays two different characters in the film and she has to make them both sound different and look completely different from each other and that is something that she does do with ease in this film as Thia has more of an upbeat personality whereas Tessa is very much a by the books type of character and yet even when your not fully paying attention to the film you can still tell who is who due to how vastly different that they both sound from one another with the acting that's in this film really being helped by that this films script is just so good that all this films actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Doing the CGI for this film is Framestore , Industrial Light & Magic , Perception , Trixter , capital T and VicScreen. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films CGI blending in really well with the live action elements and while it was still easy to tell what was CGI and what wasn't they were blended together really well with all o this films effects looking good as even tho this film only had a small budget at least when compared to other effects heavy films you can tell right away that the films effects budget was really high as not only did they manage to get alot of really good effects companies to wok on the film in the first place but they also manages to produce some really high quality effects alot of the time as while yes the film does have alot of really good effects in it there are also some really bad looking effects in the film as well with some of the films many creatures looking a little bit to fake alot of the time and there's a shot of Tessa near the end of the film where there's just something about the shot that feels off this is despite the fact that the film does have some really high quality effects alot of the time with even what they do with Thia looking really good and is something that does make you wonder how they managed to pull that effect off when making the film as there's no way that it's something that could have been without causing pain to actor Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi.

As was mentioned at the very start of this film this is actually the second Predator film that director Dan Trachtenberg made and released this year as in the summer we also got the animated anthology film Predator: Killer Of Killers. Yet without giving that much away about this film don't expect this film to connect to that film in any way and don't expect characters from that film to show up in this film as while the two films do indeed take place in the same fictional world there are no crossover characters from either film which is a smart thing as we've seen with the MCU that doing that kind of thing to often to quickly can more often then not do more harm then good and with there being noting like that in this film it's clear as day that Dan Trachtenberg is more focused on telling a good story and in showing us new and exciting things with the Predator and having alot of cameos from characters from other Predator films would be to distracting an could be seen as being to much like fanservice but either way the very fact that he managed to make two films at the exact same time is insane as it requires alot of time and effort to make ONE film and yet he's made two at the same time and had them released in the exact same year only just months apart from each other and while there aren't any characters crossing over from either film it's still fun to imagine to how certain characters from Killers Of Killers would react to certain events going on in this film and while we might not get the crossover film until the third film whenever that may be the fact that he's already thinking about that but is more then willing to take his time in making it does show that he's willing to give the fans what they want but only if the right story comes along first.

Whilst the film does have alot of really good things that are working for the film it does also have alot of things that are working against the film. Like the fact that the planet that this film takes place doesn't feel as well developed as Earth was back in Prey which granted might because of the fact that we don't get to spend alot of time on that world before the action fully kicks in but it is something that does leave you wanting you as you get to see these really unique looking creatures and yet know nothing about this planet other then the fact that it's really dangerous which is just the most generic thing that could have been said and is something that's not really unique to this film and yet if the makers of this film took the time to if not fully at least partially develop the world that this film takes place on as that then could have had the added benefit of making the dangers that the characters go through in the film feel all the more real with the the fact that we don't really get that much of a chance to care or the characters being another downside of the film as while yes the film does develop the friendship between Thia and Dek there still treated like superheroes when an action scene starts which means that we have no reason to care for them and feel anything for them when they get put into a live of death situation as we know that there going to be making it out alive and well when we should be wondering if there going to be OK this is the same problem that A Good Day To Die Hard faced where they put John McClane into these situations where he should have died but doesn't and that made it hard to by into the film and by into his character because there was no threat to his life there and it's the same thing here only it's on a lesser degree.

One of the things that the film does get right tho was the fact that it did develop the friendship between Dek and Thia. As without there friendship being believable then you don't really have a film to begin with and by into it so much that you do want to see more scenes with them just getting to know each other as that's when the film is the most fun to watch and while both characters are really well done in there own it's when there together that they really do come alive as both characters have such chemistry with each other that you really do by that he would do anything to protect her much like she'd do whatever she can do to protect him and while yes they both do have there sperate goals in this films it's the fact that we get to see them together that makes the film stand out as we've never seen a Predator movie where where the titular Predator has a friend as while yes other Predators have teamed up with humans before they have never had a friend with it being made crystal clear that with the three Predator movies that he's made thus far that this films director Dan Trachtenberg does care more about the Predator side of things that the human side of things as he does give us new looks at the Predator that the other films didn't do and he gives us new ideas for these characters as well and while having him team up with someone who is always cracking jokes could be seen as watering down the franchise it is something that does play into this film in ways that can't be discussed in this review but in saying that tho it is understandable why some people do hate this no kind of jokey take on the character as the Predator needs to be killing people in really horrible ways and not cracking jokes with a friend right before he does it.

Now then this film has  had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty nine minuets and nine seconds. Which is a bit of short running time for a Predator film to have but at the same time tho this is a film that really does have the right amount of running time to cover that amount of running time however tho in saying that this is a film that really doesn't use it's running time all that wisely as while the plot of the film is as well developed as it will ever be due to the fact that the makers of this film did put alot of focus on it's plot with the film taking it's time in adding things that do help to fully develop the films plot in the long run sadly tho the same thing absolutely cannot be said for this films characters as none of them apart from Thia and Dek get much in the way of character development which I guess does make sense as they are meant to be the films characters and so of course they are going to be getting alot of the attention from the makers of this film but even Tessa and alot of the films other characters don't get that much in the way of character development with this mainly due to the fact that the film does have a much more shorter running time which is great in that it means that every single scene has to be about the plot of the film but it does also mean that we can't get alot of the smaller character moments that help to develop alot of the films characters and as such alot of this films characters do feel like the waste of good characters as we know as much about them coming out of the film then we did coming into the film but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action film that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With it being made crystal clear that while the film does have alot of really good kills in the film they all going to take part in the films action scenes which is something that does somewhat make sense given that this is a young Predator but at the same time tho you don't expect a Predator film to be heavy on the action and not that heavy on it's kills as while there are kills in this film there's more action in the film it self with there being some creative kills but nothing that really hasn't been done before in other and better films with the films best action scene being the third act battle when Dek storms a building and uses his weapons to take out pretty much every one there in a gore filled action scene as again without giving away to much about what happens in that scene we do get to see alot of limbs being cut off with the only thing that lets that scene down being the fact that there's alot of CGI used in that scene which does look a little bit to fake alot of the time and while these more recent Predator films will always be effects heavy films there really should be a fine line between choosing when to use CGI and when doing things for real with this being something that should have been the case with the third act battle as it would have looked so much more cooler if we got to see alot of practical effects blended with the films CGI elements with the films third fight being helped by the fact that both Thia and Dek have there own enemies to fight with us getting to see just how each of them takes down there respective foe which is really fun to watch with the same thing also being true for the rest pf this films action as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall if you like the other two recent Predator films then this is a film that really will be right up your street as it is a really good film so much so that it's already made back around $80 million of it's $105 million American dollar budget with that proving that the Predator franchise is not only back but it's really here to stay as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Disney fandom wiki page , Tenor , IMP Awards .

Bikini Shark Film Review

There are some movies where you just know by the title just how bad that it's going to be with this film being one of them. As all you have to do is just look at the films title as it straight away tells you that this is going to be a bad film and to be frank this film is really bad and not in a way that makes it good again but what do you expect when it's from the writer of Fairest Of Them All and so then join me as I review the film that makes Sharknado and the Slumber Party Massacre remake look good by comparison with the film in question being called simply just "Bikini Shark" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when a group of friends go away to help one of the friends clean up a house that there Grandad once stayed at they discovered a coursed set of bikini's that sets sharks on who ever is wearing them. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really bad with this films plot being laughable at best as to say that this films plot is stupid would be an insult to stupid plots as it's just so dumb which fair enough might be the point as this film is meant to be horror comedy but even those still need to have good plots in them with this films plot being really weak with it being so weak that it could be the plot to a TV show pilot and nothing would need to be changed with it being clear as day that there was no thought and no effort put into making this films plot good or even OK as everything in regards to the plot of this film just screams as something that you'd find on sale in a direct to DVD film heck if this was the plot to a Youtube fan film it would be pretty decent at best but it's not as it's made by writers who have written several other horror movies just this year alone and yet they all seem to never learn to make a good plot as this films plot is just so bad and so dull that it feels like something a first time writer would come up with with the plot of this film also being not really rather entertaining and nor is it really rather engaging either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Mouseboat Massacre and Popeye's Revenge star Kathi DeCouto as Esther and Alesia Lifantii as Tracey. Also starring in this film is Christian Ndonda as Danny , Amber Olivia as Beth , Jules Prudhon as Stephen , Piglet and Shoot My Heart, My Mafia Boss star Alina Varakuta as Ginger , Jessie Vinning as Jenna and The Leprechaun's Game and Rise Of The Mummy star Wiktoria Wabnyc as Kacey.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very fil well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really bad. With this films lack of acting being on par with it's plot as it's just that bad with very few to none of this films actors turning in a good performance as alot of them are just so wooden and sound so robotic that it makes there scenes painful to watch with this being something that does make some form of sense as alot of this films actors are either unknown actors or have have mostly just worked as extra's and had no speaking lines before now and yet it's one of those actors that's this films best actor as actor Jessie Vinning even tho she's done work as an extra on shows like House Of The Dragon and falls like one of the more recent Mission Impossible films has never had a speaking part before now and yet she's the only one that's actually trying to turn in a good performance with the rest of this films actors just phoning in there performances but to be fair when the script is this bad it would be hard for anyone to turn in a good or even passable performance with the acting that's in this very film not really being helped by the fact that this films script is just so bad as it gives none of this films actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there actual characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does hurt the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Doing this films CGI is the little known studio but are still legends and are still really great that are currently over at Luma Pixels. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about thew actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad for what would have been a really small budget as while yes no one will ever argue the fact that this films budget was tiny as are alot of these badly made British horror films are and because of that this film does have a really tiny effects budget which is something that does show alot of the time when we see people driving in a car for example you can tell that they were filmed against either a blue or green screen as the backgrounds look a little to fake and the actor facing away from the background has this weird line around them which just looked odd but to this films credit for what was a really small budget the titular sharks do look as good as they were ever going to look as while they do look like they belong in a Playstation 3 video game cutscene for this films budget that is pretty impressive and to the films credit the sharks are implemented well enough with the live action elements that they do come across as being passable effects with the only thing really holding them back is the fact that alot of the time we do see blood before the shark attacks someone when it should be coming at the same time and that's really it as while there is another issue inreguards to the films effects that's something that's going to be discussed later on in this review as it's part of a much more bigger issue with the film.

May god this film really does try to be like Sharknado even down to them having sharks attacking people on dry land. However tho that film at least tried to ground itself in some form of reality by having there be a massive flood first and then had the sharks being lifted into the town so it does become somewhat more believable when a shark does attack someone on land here tho they just straight up have the sharks swimming around on dry land for no reason when that wouldn't even be possible due to the fact that sharks NEED water to swim in look granted this film is meant to be a comedy and it's therefor not meant to be taken all that seriously which is fair enough but at the same time there still needs to be some form of believability to it as the title alone pretty much forces us to stretch or imagination pretty thin and now the makers of this film are adding in this one element that doesn't even make sense even tho it is a great way to build up suspense as it now means that are main characters who are all very poorly written even by the standards of Harry Boxley who yes did write this film it does go to show you that he really just relies more on the idea of people being attacked by sharks when there on land instead of going to the trouble to explain why the sharks are able to swim on land in the first place heck he doesn't even explain why the sharks are eating people that only wear this one companies set of Bikini's which is a key plot point to give Sharknado some credit at least they explained away all of there key plot points to the point where they became believable yes there still dumb as those are dumb movies but there more believable then what happens in this film.

This is really something that really shouldn't need to be said but continuity in films really is a big thing and it makes a film look even more bad when they just straight up ignore. Case in point in this film they have a girl make a phone call to her friend near what is presumably her car and when the friend does eventually pick up the phone she gets attacked by a shark which isn't a bad thing but the issue comes when the film then cuts back to the friend and she's now just a mere few feet away from the friend when they were no where near each other in just the previous scene. With the makers of the film not even bothering to get the actors to actually look at where the shark is going to be as when the shark is attacking Amber Olivia and Wiktoria Wabnyc's characters Amber is looking up when she should be looking more down now to her defense she most likely hasn't done an effects heavy movie like this one with the same thing also being true for this films director E J Marshall so they most likely had no clue on how to make that scene which is fair enough but at the same time tho there needed to be some level of quality control as in the scene in question it does look like that Wiktoria Wabnyc is looking where the shark is going to be but it's just Amber who is looking at something else entirely and it's small things like that that do ruin the illusion as it just reminds you that your watching a film when the makers of this film should have been working over time to make this film the best that they possibly could have done and yet they instead chose just phone in almost every aspect of the film and it really is something that does show through in the films final product.

The characters in this film are none the better either as the main character Beth is just a bland character with nothing interesting about her. With Kacey being pretty much a social media influencer type of character so yeah she's pretty annoying as well with the only two characters in the film that are somewhat like able are Esther and Jenna and that's really it and even then Esther doesn't really show up until near the end of the film with what makes both characters somewhat interesting and likable is the fact that Esther is the mother of the films killer and Jenna is actually doing research about him for a college course and is in an abusive relationship with Beth's boyfriend which she only just finds out is abusive during the course of this film when he tries and fails to have her and there unborn baby killed by the queen shark with both of the films main male characters being so forgettable that it's not even worth mentioning them by name with the only one that's somewhat more memorable being the character of Stephen as he's the abusive boyfriend character who gets eaten by the queen shark but just to give you an idea of how bland all of the characters are in this film the film doesn't have it's main killer listed on IMDB it has all of the hero characters but not the one that people might be somewhat interested in which is a shame as the killer for this film is one of the more memorable characters in the film alone with Stephen and yet his name and who played him in the film is nowhere to be found online and yet all of the films hero characters are for some reason which makes no sense as surely the point is to list all of the main characters in a film and not just a small handful of them.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and fourteen minuets and seventeen seconds. Which is pretty much the exact running time that you'd expect a film like this one to have and to this films credit it really does have the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time however tho this film really doesn't use it's running time all that wisely as the plot of the film isn't that well developed and can't be that well developed due to the fact that the film has a few scenes that have slow motion each of which last around TWENTY seconds each which in a longer film wouldn't seem like much but in a short film like this those seconds are things that could have been spent on developing the films plot and actually explaining things about the films plot with the films characters even suffering because of this as they get no character development what so ever with the film leaving the characters as bland and one dimensional when there should have been some time spent on adding quite literally anything to this films characters that help to make them seem more like fully formed characters but because of the fact that the film seems to be more focused on adding more pointless slow motion scenes then a typical Zack Snyder film it means that we are left with characters that are as bland as the characters from a typical Zack Snyder film with the film even taking a good while to really get going when it really should have been all about the plot from the second that the first kill of the film happens but I really admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this a horror film that really does mean that I have to actually talk about he actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured /presented to us in this very film was in all honesty OK at best. As there really isn't alot of creativity to this films kills which does make alot of sense as there's not really that much that you can do with sharks as the ones that are killing alot of people and with this film being a horror comedy it does make sense that the film would put alot more focus on it's comedy aspect then it's horror aspect or it would if the films comedy was any good but sadly it's not with the film not even telling any jokes whatsoever and playing everything including is rather wacky and out there premise straight with the best kill in the whole film going to Stephen and even then it's just because of the fact that out all the main hero characters his was the one that was earned and that's really it as all it is is the queen shark jumping out of the water and killing him with the only thing that lets his death down being the fact that the makers of the film use CGI blood on all of their kills instead of using practical effects and heck we don't even get to see what his body looks like after the shark attacked him with the same thing being true for all of the other victims in this film as that's just how bland of a horror film that this film really is alot of the time as the film doesn't anything funny or even scary which makes it be a bad horror comedy as the film doesn't bother to tell any jokes as even the films premise would have made for a good running joke as it's just there wacky and out there that if the film leaned into to how stupid it's premise is it would have made the film more entertaining and the films kills are just bland kills in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall if you ever come across this film anywhere be it online or in shops avoid it at all costs and watch something better as there's no value in watching a film that's not even so bad it's good as this film that's just straight up bad , bland and more importantly boring in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 0 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Tenor . IMP Awards .

Wickedness Film Review

With ever popular film there of course comes two things the first of which is a sequel and the second of which is a knock off movie. Well Wi...
