13 Fanboy Film Review

Horror fans there are very few iconic franchises as that as both the Friday The 13th and the Halloween film franchises. With both of these franchises going on for so long that it's a wonder that they didn't produce a cross over film well now somebody had kind of crossed these two film franchises over and so join me as I review the film that is every single Friday The 13th and halloween fans dream with the film in question being  freaking called simply just "13 Fanboy" enjoy.

The plot of this film is someone is killing of actors and actresses that have either been in or are associated with the Friday 13th franchise or it's actors in some way shape or form and so it's up to Kelsie Voorhees the grand daughter of Deborah Voorhees to find out who the killer is before it's far to freaking late. Now then in terms of what I thought / felt of / about the plot of this very film in all honesty I in all honesty thought / felt that the plot of / about this very film was at best rather freaking week in my opinion anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is this film's director , co-writer , co-editor and co-producer Deborah Voorhees as herself. Also starring in this film is Dee Wallace as herself , Hayley Greenbauer as Kelsie Voorhees , C.J. Graham as himself , Kane Hodder as himself , Judie Aronson as herself , Lar Park Lincoln as herself , Tracie Savage as herself , Ron Sloan as himself , Jennifer Banko as herself and Corey Feldman as Mike Merryman.

Now then in terms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film in all honesty I in all honesty thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty alot better then what it really had any freaking right to be. Since alot of these actors and actress that are appearing in / starring in this film haven't acted in anything in years and so nobody would have blamed them if there performances were a little bit wooden in my freaking opinion anyways / at least.

Now then even tho this film is mainly focused on the Friday The 13th franchise this film still featured Dee Wallace who of course starred in the 2007 Halloween remake film. Which doesn't really work out that well for me personally since this film is designed to be a love letter to the fans of Friday The 13th and so having an actress from a competing franchise appear in your film goes against that message in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then is film is kind of a passion project for all of those involved with making this film since everybody who is involved with making this film has a love for the Friday The 13th film and multimedia franchise. As such you can feel the love and the passion that went into making this film as it really does shine through in every single frame of this freaking film in my freaking opinion anyways / at least.

However sadly tho that passion doesn't necessarily translate to a good film since this is film is pretty freaking bad. This is simply because the makers of this film are trying to far to hard to make this film feel more like a Scream film instead of it being it's own unique thing since there alot of elements that were made popular by the Scream films that appear in this film and it's those exact same elements that really did harm this film overall in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then I have to give the makers of this film credit for even getting this film freaking made in the first freaking place. Since this film was made without any big studio help and so the current rights holders for the Friday The 13th franchise had nothing to do with this film but that doesn't excuse the fact that this film does have some pretty editing and writing which could very well be chalked up to the fact Deborah Voorhees is writing and also editing this movie among many other things and this film is one of the many films that i'd use as a good example for a new director not to start editing a movie because it's entirely different ball game that requires an entirely different set of skills in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then since this film is a slasher film after all that means that I do infact have to actually talk about the the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well in all honesty I in all honesty I in all honesty thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film are indeed really freaking good indeed especially given this films rather small budget. Heck this film also has some pretty decent gore for it's incredibly rather small budget which was something that I wasn't even expecting to be the case but it's something that I was in all honesty rather surprised by in my opinion anyways / at least.

Overall this film was a decent love letter to 80's slasher films to the Friday The 13th film and multimedia film franchise but at the same time just because your a love letter to something doesn't always mean that your a good film in my opinion anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this film in this very review and as such that means that this film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Friday The 13th fandom wiki page , the official Halloween fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Images actually has images from this film up on Google Images and pus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and yes this film is out now On Demand and you can watch this film right freaking now if you guys really freaking wanted to that is and so then horror fans we ends this review as we always do with our ne and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some very unpleasant dreams.
