My First Impressions of The Day Of The Dead 2021 TV Series

Horror fans I thought that we'd learnt by now that remaking or in this just taking the name of George A. Romero movie and borrowing literally nothing else from said movie was a bad. Apparently we hadn't learnt that lesson because Syfy has decided to release there version of of of the 1985 George A. Romero film Day Of The Dead and so join me as I give you my first impressions of the show that just takes the name of the movie that it's reimagining and nothing more then that with the TV show in question being called simply just "Day Of The Dead" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is rather simple to summarize simply because the writers / of this show and episode and the makers of this very show and episode chose not to give this episode an actual plot to speak of what so freaking ever. This is the first of many freaking red flags in this episode for me personally since if you have no story to tell in your opening episode then why the heck should I watch your second episode this is just bad screen writing right freaking here in my freaking opinion anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Keenan Tracey as Cam McDermott , Daniel Doheny as Luke Bowman and Natalie Malaika as Lauren Howell. Also starring in this episode is Morgan Holmstrom as Sarah Blackwood , Kristy Dawn Dinsmore as Amy , Mike Dopud as Detective McDermott , Miranda Frigon as Paula Bowman , Dejan Loyola as Jai Fisher , Christopher Russell as Trey Bowman , Kevin O'Grady as Rhodes , Marci T. House as Captain Pike , Victor Zinck Jr. as Shawn , Jay Brazeau as Pops Parker , Trezzo Mahor as Trent ,Nikolai Witschl as Zombie Zero , Caitlin Stryker as Nicole , Peter New as Lazlo and Paula Shaw as Mrs. French.

Now then as for what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode in all honesty I in all honesty thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was at best OK. This is simply because all of the actors and actresses that are appearing in / starring in this very episode have nothing to work with in terms of what there characters personality is like and so all of the actors and actresses that are appearing in / starring in this very episode can only do so much with the material that are being given to work with in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then this is show is very freaking easily worse then the Chucky TV series that premiered just a few short days ago since that show is at least fun to watch. How then same thing cannot be said for this episode since this episode is anything but fun to watch since it's more focused on giving us forced drama that it sucks out all of the fun that this series could have had with both it's premise and it's set up in my opinion anyways / at least.

So now then the writing for this episode is a freaking joke simply because the lead writers / head writer , showrunners , creators and executive producers for this show are Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas. These two jokers are responsible for alot of bad movies chief among which is The Flintstones And WWE Stone Age Smackdown , the slightly better The Jetsons And WWE: Robo-Wrestlemania and the passable at best The Banana Splits Movie they are also the pair that got fired from Raven's Home after it's first season which is for a good reason because that first sucked and these two writers haven't written anything that's got any kind of universal praise because they are that bad of a pair of writers in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then the writing for this episode is so freaking bad that half the time this episode feels like that it's a bad sitcom complete with plenty of moments where characters will say things but then the complete opposite will happen all done in the vain attempt to make this episode some what humorous. This sitcom type of writing also clashes with the episodes alot more serious tone and so the episode from a writing standpoint comes across as being all over the place since the writing cannot decide if it wants to be taken seriously or if it wants to be rather freaking humorous in my freaking opinion anyways / at least.

Now then even I really did hate this episode the bad writing that this episode has to offer is honestly what makes this episode turn to be somewhat enjoyable. Since I found myself laughing at how bad alot of the lines of dialog were in this episode with the dialog being so freaking on the nose that it's actually un freaking real exactly hw on the nose the dialog is in this very / particular episode in my freaking opinion anyways / at least.

So now then this episode has / had an exact running time of exactly forty seven minuets and thirteen seconds and well in all honesty I in all honesty think / feel that this episode should have been either alot freaking shorter or even alot freaking longer. Simply because there's very little actual horror in this horror themed show and that is something that would have been fixed if this episode was either shorter or a little bit freaking longer in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then since this is a horror show after all and there are some horror elements in this horror themed episode after all that means that I have to actually talk about the horror that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode and well in all honesty I in all honesty think / feel that the horror that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode. Is at best freaking weak since there's very little actual scares in this episode but on the plus side the gore effects for this show do thus far seem to be pretty freaking good in my opinion anyways / at least.

Overall even tho you only get one chance to make a good first impression this episode left a very freaking bad impression on me personally so much so that i'm not even going to watch the remaining nine episodes of this ten episode series i'm just going to drop this series / show right here and right freaking now because it's that freaking bad in my opinion anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this post and since this post is just me giving my first impressions of this very show I will not be giving a rating for this show as this isn't a review of the show itself but rather my first impressions of the show itself.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Child's Play fandom wiki page and lastly from Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Images actually has images from this film up on Google Images and pus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and so then horror fans we ends this review as we always do with our ne and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some very unpleasant dreams.

The Final Film Review

There are alot of horror films that sadly don't get alot of attention from either the mainstream audience or die hard horror fans alike....
