Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood And Honey Film Review

Disney really does seem to be having alot of bad luck when it comes to copyright as they did loose the copyright to Steamboat Willie just over a month ago now. However people seem to be forgetting that that wasn't the first time that Disney have had to deal with copyrighted characters going into the public domain as a character that while they didn't create him or friends took on a life of his own due to the Disney version and well with the sequel due out soon it was really only about right that I took a look back at the first film and so then join me as I review that really took the internet by storm for all of the wrong reasons with the film in question being called simply just "Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood And Honey" enjoy.

The plot of this film is five years after he left to go college Christopher Robin returns to the hundred acre wood and finds that Pooh and Piglet have become silent slasher movie killers and must stop them before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the issue as this films plot really isn't all that good either with the plot of the film being as bad as you'd think it would be but also not as a fun as a title like this really should be with the films plot being a really dark plot when it really should have been more of a horror comedy with the plot of the film being really entertaining and also really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Nikolai Leon as Christopher Robin , Maria Taylor as Maria and Natasha Rose Mills as Jessica. Also starring in this film is Amber Doig-Thorne as Alice , Danielle Ronald as Zoe , Natasha Tosini as Lara , Paula Coiz as Mary , May Kelly as Tina , Danielle Scott as Charlene , Marcus Massey as Colt , Richard D. Myers as Logan , Simon Ellis as Tucker , Jase Rivers as John , Mark Haldor as Darrel , Toby Wynn-Davies as The Narrator , Chris Cordell as Piglet and Craig David Dowsett as Winnie-The-Pooh.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really bad. With none of this films cast members turning in that good of a performance there are a few that are quite clearly trying to turn in a good performance but due to the films incredibly small budget it comes across as them only doing one take of each scene as they didn't have enough money to do a second take with this not really being helped by the fact that the films script is just so bad that it gives none of the films cast anything to work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place.

For those of you that don't know this film was only able to get made because of the fact that all of the characters that appeared in the very first Winnie The Pooh book fell into the public domain. Which means that while people can now use those characters it has to be the book versions of the characters as the Disney versions of the characters are still under copyright and it means that we can now expect more out there takes on these characters just like we can and are indeed getting more weird versions of the Steamboat Willie storyline this is something that can work in favor of the makers of those films as it means that people who grew up with the Disney version s are going to be interested in seeing these more mature takes on these characters but at the same time tho if those films or whatever aren't good then your going to risk making the fans of those characters alot more angry then what they really would have been as the film makers would run the risk of letting those characters and there respective legacies down.

This film had a really small budget not only for it's film but also for it's main villains costume as the budget for the film was one hundred thousand American dollars. Where as the whole costume for Winnie The Pooh was seven hundred and seventy American dollars that is nothing and you can really tell that this film was shot on a really small budget as the whole film didn't take that long to film , it doesn't have a big cast or lots of locations and the film has really cheap looking villain costumes with Pooh's mask even being something that you can buy online for very cheap but to this films credit while the costume looks cheap the film does it's best to hide the costume for the most part and it's when you can't see the costume in it's entirety that it looks good but in a laughable way where as it's when you see the costume fully that it looks bad but Pooh got the better costume and mask when compared to that of Piglet as the Piglet mask doesn't look finished and his costume looks like a burlap sack only stretched over his entire body.

One of the things that really does let this film is the fact that they keep on flip flopping between having Christopher Robin be the main hero or just be a coward. As alot of the time that we see him he's fighting for Pooh to let some of the of the other victims live and yet when things don't go that way he runs away all this does is make him seem like a rather unlikable character as he doesn't do anything to project the other victims and yet he's meant to the main hero of the film yet if the film makers wanted him to be the main hero then they should have written him alot more better then what they do in this film as in this film they just flip flop between the two that all it does is leave us without someone to route for as the main girl really isn't all that likable of a character either and this results in us not really having a character to really route for and get behind when this really should the easiest film to have a likable character as the book and Disney version of Christopher Robin is a likable character and yet this film somehow made him a really unlikable character.

Unlike "The Mean One" which knew what it was but still didn't take full advantage of what it was this film plays everything straight. When just like "The Mean One" this is a film that really shouldn't have taken itself seriously as that would allow the film to be alot more goofier as the films premise and the very idea of the film itself really does allow itself to be a goofy film and yet by playing everything straight and not making any jokes all your doing is robbing us of what could have been a hugely entertaining film when it would have actually made the film alot more better then what it actually was if it was more goofier and didn't play everything so straight this is something that "The Mean One" did manage to do as it knew that it was a rip off of The Grinch and yet it still played around with the idea and concept and had fun with it here tho the film doesn't play around with it's idea when it really should have done as that would have made the film more enjoyable tom watch.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty four minuets and fifteen seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstanderd running time that you'd expect a film like this one to have but even tho the film has more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that amount of running time the film really doesn't end it's plot with the film just coming to an end when the third act really gets going when the film had more then enough running time to tell a complete story and yet for some strange reason chose not to which just leaves us with a film that really feels like that they really didn't have enough time and money to really film a complete ending and as a result of that the makers of this film just really went with what little ending that they had instead of giving us an actual proper ending but I will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a slasher film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty the best part of this film. As that was when the film got to be creative and fun to watch as the idea of Winnie The Pooh and Piglet killing people and really creative will always be a really cool and creative idea and the fact that we have alot of creative kills that while they don't really take advantage of the fact that it's Winnie The Pooh and Piglet killing people and has a ton of CGI blood there still creative and fun kills to watch that make the movie fun to watch as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while the idea behind the film is a good idea that really does open itself up to a good , and goofy film the film itself takes itself so seriously that the idea just isn't allowed to be as fun and as good as it really should have been as on paper this film really should have been a good and a really goofy film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 4.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used used in this very review from the official Horror Film fandom wiki page , Tenor . Com , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Images actually has images from this episode up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we end this review as we always do with really our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

The Munsters "Eddie's Nickname" Review

TV shows nowadays are always trying to teach life lessons but there done in such heavy handed ways that came across as being really rather forced. Yet i've found an episode of a classic TV show that teaches kids a life lesson that we could all do with relearning today with this episode being just a relevant today as it was back in the nineteen sixties and so then join me as I review the episode that saw a bit of a resurgence in popularity just a few short years ago with the episode in question being called simply "Eddie's Nickname" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when Grandpa cast a growth spell on Eddie after some kids start calling him Shorty it's up to Herman to set his son straight. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad with this episodes plot doing a really good of being really entertaining when it needs to be and being really heartfelt when it wants to be as well as displaying just how good this family works together as a unit with this episodes plot also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Pet Sematary star Fred Gwynne as Herman Munster and Satan's Cheerleaders star Yvonne De Carlo as Lily Munster. Also starring in this episode is Car 54, Where Are You? star Al Lewis as Grandpa Munster , Pat Priest as Marilyn Munster , Kitaro's Graveyard Gang star Butch Patrick as Eddie Munster , Bewitched star Paul Lynde as Dr. Edward Dudley and Alice Backes as Miss Fairchild.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With alot of the cast turning in some truly wonderful performances with all of the main cast knowing what kind of performance would best to suit there respective characters at any given performances but what let's the acting down tho is oddly enough the acting from the episodes guest cast as there performances whilst perfectly fine for the role that there characters play in the episode just aren't that good when compared to that of the main cast with the episodes guest cast coming across as being lost and not really knowing what kind of performance would best to suit this show where as the opposite is true for the main cast.

This is also one of the only examples of where Eddie Munster is a main character in an episode of the show. With the character mostly being a side character who was more often then not relegated to the episodes side plot and never being in the episodes main plot which was something that changed with this episode and yet even with Eddie getting more of a focus in this episode we still don't get to find out all that much about him which granted might have happened in one of the previous eighteen episodes it's something that really should have happened as he was the main driving point behind the episodes plot and yet we're not really given any new information about him as a character which is something that really should have happened and yet for some strange reason the episode doesn't take the time to do it.

As was mentioned at the very start of this review this episode started to see a resurgence in popularity a few years ago. All thanks to the speech that Herman gives at the end of the episode with his speech being about accepting anyone no matter what they look like and what truly matters is how they act and what they do and this is something that is such an important lesson for kids to learn as it does say that we should be willing to accept people and this is something that we should be relearning today with people not willing to even talk to people just because of their political beliefs and not due to how they are as people which is the very thing that Herman's speech is trying to convince us to do as we should be willing to treat people equally and talk to people regardless of what they believe in as it's the right thing to do.

What didn't really work for this episode was the fact that Herman's speech as great and as impactful as it is really does come out of nowhere. With there not really being any scene that hints of Herman trying to tell Eddie what the right thing to do is and while we do get kind of subplot of Herman and Grandpa falling out due to Grandpa trying use magic to help Eddie there's no sign that Herman was trying to teach Eddie what the right to do is and as such the subplot with Herman and Grandpa not only comes out of nowhere but it also adds up to nothing as it's a subplot that they don't even resolve which is a shame as they could have tied to the two plots together just by having Herman telling Grandpa that he doesn't want him to get involved because he's trying to teach Eddie what the right thing to do is and yet the episode doesn't even take the time to do that.

This episode really doesn't go all the way with it's bullying plot line as we don't really get to see that much of how this effects Eddie as a character. With him not really acting out of character outside of one outburst at the very start of the episode but aside from that he's acting completely in character and yet when you contrast this episode with other sitcoms that do a bullying plotline alot of them will have the person that's getting bullied act of character to let not only the other characters know but to also let us the audience know that something is seriously wrong with this character and yet as Eddie is acting fully in character it would make no sense that his parents would pick up on something being wrong with him as just based off of what they see they shouldn't really know that anything was wrong him in the first place and then you add in the fact that the bulling doesn't really escalate with it just being the name calling and that's it which granted that's all that they could have gotten away with back in the sixties it still would have helped the episode out quite alot.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty five minuets and twenty eight seconds. Which to this episodes credit is the perfect running time for this episode to have as the episode really doesn't have alot there interms of the plot to cover anything longer then that but it still would have been nice if this episode really did have a slightly longer running time given the subject matter and the themes of this episodes plot but on the flip side of that is the fact that if this episode was longer then it would have been stretching was is a very thinly drawn out premise even thinner as now there would be alot of scenes that go nowhere but with those added scenes we could have gotten to see just what Marilyn would say or do to help Eddie out as she's given pretty much nothing to do in the final cut of the episode but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I have to talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With this episode having some really funny moments in it and while this episode does feature some bad jokes in it the episode has alot more funny moments just with Herman alone that more then make up for it with Herman getting all of the episodes best jokes as he really is just a funny character that can and in this case really does make alot of jokes that really shouldn't work actually work and while he does get one really unfunny joke in the whole episode he gets alot more really funny moments in the episode as the episodes jokes are really just that funny in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this episodes central message is just as if not more really important today then it was back in the nineteen sixties the episode as a whole is fun episode but it's perhaps not as good as it really have been in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now ten as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then in boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Amazon . Co . Uk , Tenor . Com , Wikipedia and Google Images.

Ginger Snaps Film Review

There are alot of horror movies so many infact that it would be next to impossible for anybody to have seen every single one ever made. Well today I get to finally check of a film that i've never seen but through various other horror related media have heard about and as a result of that is the fact that the film really does have alot to live up to and so then join me as I review the film that helped to make Katharine Isabelle a horror megastar with the film in question being called simply just "Ginger Snaps" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when her teenage sister is bitten by werewolf Brigitte Fitzgerald has to find a cure before it's two late and she looses her sister forever. Now then then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films plot being a really rather fresh and different take on the whole becoming a werewolf for the first time plot which was rather refreshing to see with it really being helped by the fact that this films plot is just as fresh and just as new and different as it was when it first came out nearly twenty five years ago with this films plot also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Katharine Isabelle as Ginger Fitzgerald , Emily Perkins as Brigitte Fitzgerald and Kris Lemche as Sam. Also starring in this film is Mimi Rogers as Pamela Fitzgerald , Jesse Moss as Jason McCardy , Danielle Hampton as Trina Sinclair , John Bourgeois as Henry Fitzgerald , Peter Keleghan as Mr. Wayne , Christopher Redman as Ben , Jimmy MacInnis as Tim , Lindsay Leese as Nurse Ferry and Wendii Fulford as Ms. Sykes.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that'd actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty alot better then what it really had right to be. As when you hear the words "low budget horror film" you don't think of good or even great acting and yet that's exactly what we get in this film with every single actor in this film really killing it in there respective roles with perhaps the true standout performer being Katharine Isabelle who is just a joy to watch in this film with the performances in this film not really being helped by the fact that this films script really doesn't give the actors in this film a whole lot to work with interms of what there respective characters personalities are even meant to be but because of the fact that they have a solid director who knows how to get a good performance out of his cast the cast really do elevate the material that was given to them in the script.

What lets this film down quite a bit is the fact that for the most part this films main characters just aren't that likable. With the Fitzgerald sisters coming across as your typical edgy teens and really nothing more then that as the characters aren't given much in the way of personalities nor are they given hobbies and the characters are perhaps the most unlikable characters in the film as they frequently talk about hurting the dog of someone who is bullying them which is never right and when there not talking about that there planning ways to get back other people all of which goes along way to make these characters who are meant to be really likable characters seem rather unlikable which would be fine if Ginger started of as a werewolf but she doesn't and as such she acts like a bully just for the fun of it anyways regardless of if she's transforming into a werewolf or not.

This film does do something that was rather interesting and that was to give the two main characters a strong sisterly bond. This was a really interesting aspect of the film and to the films credit it does explore this idea as fully as it can do which makes Ginger's ultimate fall to the dark side even more tragic then what it already is with the only real issue with this idea being the fact that it's an idea that could have had a much more bigger impact on the plot like the fact that Ginger only gets attacked by the original werewolf because she's trying to protect Brigitte as that would show that she's willing to do anything for her sister and it would make it even more tragic when come the end of the film she's the one that's attacking Brigitte which would go along way to making the film alot better then what it really already is.

Rather shockingly when this film first came out it wasn't a hit film with the film failing to make back's it's $4.5 million dollar budget. However over the years the film did go on to become a cult classic and it's not hard to see why as the film doesn't have all the hallmarks of a hit film but it does have all of the hallmarks of a cult classic with the film being kind of weird enough to stop it being a hit film as the very idea behind the film is rather weird one but at the same time it's that weird idea that makes it a cult classic and when you add in the fact that the cast for this film was rather unknown at the time it's not that shocking that the film didn't make a splash at the box office but would instead find it's audience after it's release and because of that it's managed to spawn one sequel film and a prequel film which for a film that didn't even make back one million dollars at the box office isn't a bad thing at all as it proves that this film is the little film that could as even tho it's wasn't a hit film it's still managed to get alot of fans that love this film to this very day.

The film does have a habit of either A) not explaining key plot points or B) just straight up not addressing key plot points. As when the film starts we find out that there's a creature attacking this small town where the girls live this is something that is only mentioned once and that's it and yet when the creature does die nobody in the film seems to remember the fact that just a short time ago The Creature was the one running amok in there town as they never mention it and they never really explain the curse either which only makes you wonder why Brigitte thinks that she can cure her sister this makes the character looks dumb which is made all the more worse when you take into account that she's meant to be the more smarter and level headed one of the two and yet she's saying and doing things that are the complete opposite yes there's a case for the argument that she's acting this way because it's her sister but at the same time tho she doesn't corrected at all with it coming of as her acting like she normally would do from all of those around her.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and forty eight minuets and ten seconds. Which is a huge issue with this film as the film really doesn't have a whole lot there interms of plot to really cover that large amount of running time and as a result of that this film does feel a tad bit boring at times which wouldn't be a problem if the film used it's running time to build up tension to when Ginger does kill someone and make it actually scary as a result of that but the film doesn't do that and as a result all it comes across as is just seeing these two rather unlikable characters go through this rather tragic thing and yet we the audience don't feel anything because of the fact that we aren't given a reason to like these characters something which could have been added into the film to help to justify the films slightly long running tie but I will admit tat this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a horror film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills tat are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the issue as alot of the tie this films kills just aren't that good either with alot of the kills in this film just being really lame at best with this not really being the fact that alot of the kills just aren't that scary but with that being said the best kill in the whole entire movie being the death of The Janitor as that whole scene is just so cool with the kill itself being the tip of the ice berg and while we go get a few really cool kills those are very few and far between with the film having more bad kills then it does have some actually good kills in it in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is just so good and is very easily a must watch for any horror fan that's worth there salt as it gives you all of the things that you want in a horror film like this and then some in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and and well then that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Ginger Snaps fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Images actually has images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we end this review as we always do with really our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

Scream VI Film Review

To say that 2023 was an OK year for horror films would be a huge understatement as there really wasn't that many horror films worth talking about. However there was a few that were worth talking with one of them being the sequel to the hugely popular Scream 2022 a film that was so popular that this film was rushed into development not long after the release of that film and so then join me as I review the film that sees Ghostface successfully take Manhattan with the film in question being called simply just "Scream VI" enjoy.

The p,lot of this film is one year after the events of the previous film Sam , Tara and friends find themselves the targets of a new set of Ghostface killings and have to find out who this new killer before it's far to late. Now the interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in ll honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films plot being really fresh and new as it really adds a new spin to what could be considered a very warn out plot and yet at the same time tho it gives us enough of what we know and love fro the Scream films to feel safe and similar with this films plot also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Melissa Barrera as Sam Carpenter and Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin. Also starring in this film is Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin , Jenna Ortega as Tara Carpenter , Jack Champion as Ethan Landry , Liana Liberato as Quinn Bailey , Dermot Mulroney as Wayne Bailey , Devyn Nekoda as Anika Kayoko , Tony Revolori as Jason Carvey , Josh Segarra as Danny Brackett , Skeet Ulrich as Billy Loomis , Samara Weaving as Laura Crane , one of this films executive producers Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers , Hayden Panettiere as Kirby Reed and Roger L. Jackson as The Voice Of Ghostface.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. Which really isn't all that surprising as this film is made up of a bunch of really good actors who really do know how to act and given that alot of this films cast are reprising their roles it makes sense that this film would feature some really good acting as they would know what kind of performance would best suit their respective characters with the acting in this film really being helped by the fact that the films script is just so good that all the cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally.

As with the previous film this film does film does feature a returning character this one being Kirby Reed. With this character now being an FBI agent which doesn't really make sense for her character as she was never the smartest tool in the shed when it came to that sort of thing and while yes she was incredibly smart when it comes to horror movies that doesn't necessarily mean that she'd make a good FBI agent but on the flip side of that is the fact that it does make sense for her to take that career path given everything that she's gone through as she can now stop people from going through the same thing that she herself went through as well and as we see in this film she does use her street smarts to get the results that she needs and given all that she wen through she knows exactly what to look for in a case like this one something which does come in handy at several points in this film and it's something that proves that the makers of this film really did know what they were doing when it came to bringing her back into this truly iconic franchise.

Rather shockingly there really haven't been that many horror films that have been set in New York City. With the only two franchises to choose such a setting being Friday The 13th and Leprechaun which is rather odd as New York does offer a unique setting for scares and kills which would make it perfect for a horror film as the killer could quite literally come out of anywhere and given the fact that New York is a highly populated city it means that we're always guaranteed a high body count and yet for some reason there have been very horror films that have actually been set in New York City and even fewer that have actually filmed in New York City with alot of them opting to film in Canada or close to Canada and while this movie does make great use of it's setting and is indeed a better New York set horror movie then Friday The 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan was it still would have been in this film was filmed in New York.

To this films credits it does make great use of it's setting by making the location feel like an actual character in the film. With the location itself looking lived in ans not the kind of location that you'd typically find in movies and unlike Jason Takes Manhattan this movie fully takes place in New York and really does the best that they can do given that there not filming in New York and while it would have helped the movie if they did actually film the whole movie there in New York it was most likely out of the films budget to do so and it would have also have most likely have made it impossible to hide who the films main killer is something which wouldn't have been an issue with Jason Takes Manhattan with this movie actually delivering on it's idea by having Ghostface actually killing innocent people just because he can do which does help to make the movie all the more scary as it means that anybody could be Ghostfaces next victim.

This film does have some firsts for the franchise some of which work while others not so much like the fact that this film to have a Ghostface killer unmasks himself at the start of the movie this is something is a good idea but at the same time it's not something that isn't really fleshed out interms of the plot of the film. What is fleshed out tho and what is a good idea is the fact that this is film in the franchise to have more then two people serve as Ghostface with this film introducing the idea of three people all serving as Ghostface and all of them all having the clear goal of avenging one of the killers of the previous film that being Richie Kirsch with the killers of this film being his brother Ethan Landry , his sister Quill Bailey and his father Wayne Bailey all of which are trying to avenge him and trying to continue what he and Amber Freeman started in the previous film.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this films grand total running time even was I do know that for a matter of fact that this film has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly two hours and two minuets. Which is both the perfect amount of running time for this film to have and yet at the exact same time is also a tad bit on the long side as well as this film really doesn't need to be as long as it is as you could very easily tell this films plot in well under two hours but at the exact same time tho if you did cut anything out of this film tho it would effect the films plot as alot of the scenes in this film are either adding to the plot of the film or are setting up things that wold be payed off later on in the film but I will admit tho that this film really does have some really good pacing in it tho.

So now then as is this a slasher film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With the film really going above and beyond with all of it's kills alot of which are easily some of the best kills in the Scream franchise with the filmmakers really pushing the boundaries of what kind of kills they can really do even going so far as to giving Ghostface a shotgun something which the previous would never have done and yet it's something that works in this film and is apart of the one of the best sequences in the movie but the best kill however is the one on the ladder just due to how suspenseful that scene is with the kill in question also being rather unique as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is such a good film and it's one that proves that Scream 2022 wasn't a fluke of a film either with this film adding to the story that they set up in that film and being just as good as that film was in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 8 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Scream fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being the official Scream fandom wiki page simply because the official Scream fandom wiki page actually has images from this film up on the official Scream fandom wiki page and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on the official Scream fandom wiki page were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we end this review as we always do with really our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

Scream 1996 Film Review

In the nineties the slasher genre was pretty much dead after seeing it's heyday back the eighties when a lot of slasher films where being made yearly. Yet it's thanks to the film that i'm about to review for all you today that the slasher genre not only survive the nineties but was brought back to life really by actually giving us good characters that we like and by giving us a good plot and so the join me as I review the film that introduced us to Ghostface with the film in question being called simply just "Scream" enjoy.

The plot of the film is on the one year anniversary of her mothers death teenager Sidney Prescott finds herself and other teenagers being targeted by a mysterious killer. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this film plot not only really holding up really well all of these years later with the films plot also being just as fresh and just as new and different as it was back in 1996 with this films plot being just as entertaining and just as engaging as it was back in 1996 as well with the plot of the film still being one of the best plots in nineties horror film history in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is David Arquette as Dewey Riley , Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott and Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers. Also starring in this film is Rose McGowan as Tatum Riley , Matthew Lillard as Stu Macher , Skeet Ulrich as Billy Loomis , Jamie Kennedy as Randy Meeks , W. Earl Brown as Kenny , Joseph Whipp as Burke , Liev Schreiber as Cotton Weary , Drew Barrymore as Casey Becker , Henry Winkler as Principal Arthur Himbry and Roger L. Jackson as The Voice Of Ghostface.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well the in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films cast really nailing down there characters perfectly and giving us some truly iconic characters with all of this films actors being perfectly cast so well in fact that it's now hard to imagine anyone else playing these characters as all of this films characters just fit there characters perfectly so much so that they basically just are those characters with the acting in this film really being helped by the fact that not only is the film directed by the late and great Wes Craven who knows how to get a good performance out of his cast but also due to the fact that the films script is just so good that all the cast have to do is just say lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally.

To many people the most iconic side character in this film is Randy and that's fair enough however a case could be argued for Tatum being a truly iconic character in this film as well as Randy. With the character having alot of the humor that the films are really known for on top of that her lines are instantly quotable and while her death scene could have been avoided as she was more then halfway out of that cat flap before she died anyway it doesn't take away from the fact that her death was truly brutal and while yes Randy does give us the rules for not only this film but for the next two films it's Tatum that manages to keep Sidney grounded when everything else is spiraling out of control but I will admit that her character could have been better as she does come across as being the stereotypical snarky best friend type of character and really nothing more then that she is still a rather fun and entertaining character.

As a mystery this film does really well in telling it's actual mystery as the film does give you very subtle clues. Alot of which you only notice upon repeat viewings of the film like the fact that when Stu is about to say that will give away that he and Billy are the killers Billy will just shut him down right there and then something that he wouldn't do if they weren't the killers and on top of that is the fact that the very idea of just straight up hinting that Billy is the killer all throughout the film almost to the point where we the audience start to believe that he's not the killer was a smart move as it then gives us a reason to check the film out again to see if there's something that we missed the first time around but going back to the clues the fact that alot of the people apart from Sidney and a few others are seen wearing the exact same footwear as Ghostface does make it seem like anybody could be the killer and the fact that Billy and Stu do spend alot of time together in this film is a great subtle way to show us that there this films killers.

There's one thing that's slightly confusing when we get to this films climax tho and that's the fact that when see Billy get "killed" there's no way to see how he could applied the blood to himself. As don't forget we've just seen him completely shirtless which means that he couldn't have hidden what he needed to hide in order to pull of this effect off as one of the intended victims would have been right there in the room with him thus she would have known that Billy was at the very least the killer behind these killings this is something that could have been fixed with just one quick shot showing how Billy and Stu managed to hide the make up that they quite clearly planned to use and yet because they don't do it it makes all the more confusing when it comes to the final film and that one very quick shot could have fixed that and it would have gone along way to showing us that these two kids really did think of everything and of every single part of this plan.

As great as this film is there are some things that I really didn't like about the film like the fact that alot of the side characters felt rather undercooked which does make sense as there not the main characters but at the same time it does make it hard for us the audience to make any of connection to them. The other thing that I didn't like about this film is the fact that it really doesn't take advantage of the fact that anybody could be a suspect like how cool would it be if instead of capturing Billy not long after the first kill, of the film we see alot more people being blamed for the killing whilst none of them actually are the killer and we get to see the fact that some people could be blaming others for either petty revenge or just to prank there friends all the meanwhile the real killers are still free this is something that would have taken full advantage of the fact that anybody could be the killer and it would make us the audience not thing that Billy and Stu are the killers thus making there big reveal near the end of the film all the more surprising and shocking at the exact same time.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember what ever this films grand total running time even was I do know that for a fact that this film has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly one hour and forty six minuets. Which was a tad bit on the  long side for this film to have but at the same time there's not really anything left in this film that you can really cut out of the film without seriously harming the plot of the film as the film really does have more then enough there interms of plot to cover that large of running time and cutting anything from the film would mean that clues to working out who the killer or even killers are in this film which would make the big reveal at the ed of the film not really make sense in the slightest but i will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a horror film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. As this films kills are all just stabbings which would normally be a huge downside for me as that can get boring after a while but here it does oddly make sense as this films killers are just teenagers who are using whatever they can get a hold of to commit there crimes which means that it does make sense that alot of there kills would be stabbings and while we do get some different kills in this film the overall majority of this films kills are stabbings with all of this films kills looking really good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall even after all these years this film is still so good and is quite easily a must watch for not only any horror fan worth there salt but also for any slasher fan worth there salt as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 9 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and a swell as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Scream fandom wiki page , Google Images.

Thanksgiving Film Review

Holiday themed horror films are nothing new with with films like Halloween , My Bloody Valentine and Black Christmas being considered classics. Well now we have another holiday themed horror film to add to that list and it's one that i've been really waiting to see and well after days of trying to  get a review of this film going i've now finally really got the chance to see and review this film and so then join me as I review the film that is the latest in a long line of fake Grindhouse trailers to get adapted into full length feature length films with the film in question being called simply just "Thanksgiving" enjoy.

The plot of this film is one year after a riot sees the deaths of several people a small town finds itself being terrorized by a masked killer and it's up to one of the townsfolk and her friends to work out who is killing the members of this town and why before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in his very film was in all honesty really not that bad with this films plot being really entertaining and alot better then what it really had any to be in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Patrick Dempsey as Sheriff Eric Newlon , Nell Verlaque as Jessica and Addison Rae as Gabby. Also starring in this film is Jalen Thomas Brooks as Bobby , Milo Manheim as Ryan , Rick Hoffman as Thomas Wright , Gina Gershon as Amanda Collins , Tomaso Sanelli as Evan , Gabriel Davenport as Scuba , Jenna Warren as Yulia , Karen Cliche as Kathleen , Jeff Teravainen as Deputy Bret Labelle , Jordan Poole as Jacob , Joe Delfin as McCarty , Ty Olsson as Mitch Collins , Mika Amonsen as Lonnie , Shailyn Griffin as Amy , Tim Dillon as Manny , Amanda Barker as Lizzie , Chris Sandiford as Doug , Derek McGrath as Mayor Cantin , Lynne Griffin as Grandma and Adam MacDonald as The Voice Of The Carver.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in his very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With alot of this films cast turning in some fairly solid performances which was truly shocking as the vast majority of this films cast are a bunch of unknown actors as such it's not the best idea to expect good or even great acting from them and what really does help the acting in this film is not only the fact that this films director ad producer Eli Roth knows how to direct his cast but it's also because of the fact that the script for this film is good that all the cast have to do is just the say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally.

This film is the latest fake trailer from the 2007 film "Grindhouse" with the film joining Machete and Hobo With A Shotgun in being fake trailers being turned into movies. With this film really being a passion project for Eli Roth as it's been talked about since 2010 with this film not really being all that faithful to the original trailer as there's only one maybe two scenes from the trailer that make their appearance in this film which is to be expected but the original fake trailer could have made a really fun and campy throwback horror movie but I will admit that thus film foes do the fake trailer by not only including elements from the fake trailer but also by being a really rather fun interpretation of the original fake trailer.

Rather surprisingly this film does include some rather likable main characters with alot of the main characters being quite likable. Which was something that wasn't really expected as alot of the characters in Eli Roth's films aren't typically likable characters with them nine times out of ten being more unlikable then the main villains and yet it was quite shocking to see nearly all of this films main characters being rather likable but also being fairly well written as well as while yes we do get some rather unlikable characters in his film here it felt like that that was the point with it really working into what the film was meant to be commenting on instead of being an example of some really bad screen writing.

In a rather shocking move this film is also somewhat of a mystery with the cast trying to work who this killer is and why there killing people suddenly. Yet it's this aspect of the film that really doesn't work a that well as the film really doesn't give you any kind of clues as to who the killer ad as such when the film does reveal who the killer it comes out of nowhere as we aren't given any clues to work it for ourselves with this not really being helped by the fact that the film doesn't even give us any potential suspects either both of which are key to making a mystery work as both allow for us the audience to not only get sucked into the story but to also work out who the main killer is and why there killing all of these people.

This film is shockingly doing lot better then was to expected with it so far having earned twenty two million dollars against a fifteen million dollar budget. With the film also beating several films at the box office chief amongst which is the new film by writer and director Taika Waititi this just goes to show that you don't have to be a well known director or direct an huge franchise film in order to beat films from well known directors as at the box office as all you need to do is make a good film with good characters and the audience will go to see your film with this film being very well written with mostly very well developed characters and given just how much money that this film gas earned so far at the box office it's all but guaranteed that e'll be seeing a sequel to this film at some point in time as Eli Roth would have a huge hit film, on his hands.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty nine minuets and nineteen seconds. Which is pretty much the exact running time that you'd expect a film like this one as when you get  right down to it this film really doesn't have alot their interms of lot to cover anything longer then it's current running ad to this films credit it does do the most that it could possibly do with that running time and while I would have liked it if this film was longer as that would mean that alot of the characters could be fleshed out alot more then what they presently are if this film was to have a much longer running time tho it would be stretching an already thin story even thinner and I will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it..

So now then as this is a slasher film that means tat means that to have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With the film giving us alot of really cool , gory and creative kills but rather oddly enough the best kill of the entire movie isn't even one that the killer does as it's the opening kill that's the best kill in the movie as it's a more dark and twisted version of the opening scene from Krampus with there being alot of really cool and gory moments in that one scene alone with all of which going along way to making it the best kill scene in the whole entire movie in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a really cool and fun movie that really does deserve all of the good reviews that it's been getting as it really is just that good of a movie that could so easily become a holiday classic in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and  as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com and Google Images.

Sorority Babes In The Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2 Film Review
