Saw III Film Review

Horror fans it's been quite along time since I last reviewed a Saw movie and just as long since I last reviewed a much more older horror movie. As such I thought that i'd scratch both of these itches at the exact same time by reviewing a early Saw film and so then join me as I review the film that saw the death of two antagonists and the introduction of another one with the film in question being called simply just "Saw III" enjoy.

The plot of this film is husband and father Jeff Denlon finds himself the latest victim of Jigsaw's deadly games meanwhile his wife Lynn finds herself having to do the most deadly surgery that she's ever done. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that' actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as this films plot genuinely quite engaging and very entertaining as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Tobin Bell as John Kramer , Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young and Angus Macfadyen as Jeff. Also starring in this film is Bahar Soomekh as Lynn , Donnie Wahlberg as Eric Matthews , Dina Meyer as Kerry , Leigh Whannell as Adam , Mpho Koaho as Tim , Barry Flatman as Judge Halden , Lyriq Bent as Rigg , J. Larose as Troy , Debra Lynne McCabe as Danica , Costas Mandylor as Forenesic Hoffman , Betsy Russell as Jill , Stefan Georgiou as Dylan , Niamh Wilson as Corbett , Alan Van Sprang as Chris and Kim Roberts as Nurse Deborah.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with the cast members doing their best to make this films script worked for them the issue is tho is that this films script is weakest of the earlier Saw sequels with the newer characters not being give much of a personality and so the cast can't really turn in a great performance because of the fact that this films script just won't allow for it.

This is also the film that saw John Kramer die which was a rather bold move to make as no horror franchise has their main killer be killed of. Which was something that I rather liked as it showed that the makers of this film fully respected their audience as the audience would remember that from the first film onwards John was already dying and so to see him finally meet his end in the third film really did make sense and it's something that really does work well for not only this film but for the franchise moving forwards as well.

As you can no doubt work out by who was credited in this films cast this film also marked the debut of Costas Mandylor as Forenesic Hoffman. Who despite only appearing in one short scene near the start of the movie goes on to become the main villain for the following three films it;s this sort of forward thinking that I really love about the Saw films as it makes all of the films very re watchable as you can now spot how certain things that pay of in the later films are now all being set up and this kind of forward thinking that's very sorely missed from films in general.

This film very sadly also marked the death of Amanda Young with her death and her complete character change being something that I really disliked. I hated her death just because it wasn't something that was built up in the film and so it just comes out of nowhere and I hated how they wrote her character since in this film she's written as somebody who have become very dependent on John and that's not how she was written in the previous Saw movies and so this character change really comes out of nowhere and isn't in character for her at all.

Thus film chose to have Amanda's subplot and Jeff's main plot act as parallel's to each other which was something that i'm very mixed on. As in some ways it does work but at the same time I don't think that it's something that they really needed to do even more so when you take into account that it doesn't play a part in the film at all and so it makes you wonder why the makers of the film chose to do something like that especially since you could have done something with it just by having John say to Jeff that if you carry on down this path you'll end up just like her and have Jeff and John then both look at a dead Amanda.

Now then while I don't for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this films grand total even was I do know that for a fact that this film has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly one hour and forty minuets. Which was a tad bit on the long side for this film but given just how much storyline and plot that this film had to wrap up having a much more longer running time does somewhat make sense and to this films credit it does some really pretty good pacing to it as well which does make the film really fly right on by.

So now then since this a Saw film that means that I have to talk about the actual traps that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual traps that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this film having some pretty creative and more often then not very gory traps but at the same time they also felt like that they were pretty tame traps as well especially when you compare them to the traps of the later films in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this does serve as a great end to the John Kramer era of Saw films it's also a fairly weak film with the film being more focused on killing John and Amanda then it is in telling a good story in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Saw fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Image actually has images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and so then horror fans we end this review as we always do with really our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

Renfield Film SPOILER FREE Film Review

Actor Nicolas Cage has been seeing a bit of a career resurgence over the last couple of the years with the actor releasing great film after great film. Well now he's back with another film that looks to continue that trend and well after seeing the films insane trailer I just had to check this film out the very chance that I got and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FREE review of the film that really does put a new spin on some classic characters with the film in question being called simply just "Renfield" enjoy.

The plot of this film is Renfield Dracula's henchman for decades longs for a life away from the Count , his various demands and all of the bloodshed that comes with them. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films plot being rather enjoyable but also rather weak but dumb in an enjoyable way and thin as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Nicholas Hoult as Renfield , Nicolas Cage as Count Dracula and Awkwafina as Rebecca Quincy. Also starring in this film is Ben Schwartz as Teddy , Adrian Martinez as Chris , Shohreh Aghdashloo as Bellafrancesca , Brandon Scott Jones as Mark , Jenna Kanell as Carol , Bess Rous as Caitlyn , Camille Chen as Kate , James Moses Black as Captain Browning and Caroline Williams as Vanessa.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With Nicolas Cage just killing it as Count Dracula by turning in a performance that only he can with the rest of this films cast being as over the top as you'd want them to be and turning in some really good performances in this film as well.

Doing the CGI for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Industrial Light & Magic and Outpost VFX. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad altho it wasn't all that good either with this films CGI looking good but really fake as well.

This isn't the first time that Universal Pictures have attempted to do a Dracula spin off with the first one being the 2014 film that was meant to kick start their failed cinematic universe "Dark Universe" which was bad that it ended after two movies with the film itself being called simply just Dracula Untold. I only bring that film because this film is a great example of how to do a Dracula film in the modern day with this film harkening back to what made the character so iconic whilst also updating him in a way that feels rather natural and organic.

I will say that this film really doesn't do that good of a job of making Dracula himself seem all that scary. Which is a shame since alot of people are going to be seeing this movie because of the fact that they want to scared by Dracula and when he's not delivering on being scary all your left with is a character that isn't even fully formed yet which is something that could also be said for alot of this films characters as alot of them just feel like cardboard cut outs of much better characters instead of being their own characters.

As a comedy this film isn't all that funny but in this case that isn't so much of a bad thing as it's quite clear to me that the makers of this film put alot more effort into it's scares. Which does make sense since the last Dracula comedy I think came out in the nineteen nineties and wasn't all that good and so putting alot more effort into making the kills as over the top as possible does make sense but at the same time with this film being a horror comedy there are some decent jokes to be found in this film just sadly not all that many.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty seven minuets and thirty nine seconds. Which is such a short running time for this film to have since it has so much setting up to do and not alot of time to do it and as such the film does suffer because of it as plot points feel rushed and unearned and as such this film really should have a longer running time just so that the plot could be more fully fleshed out and so that the characters could be more fully developed and it doesn't help that this film really doesn't have that good pacing at all.

So now then since this is a horror film that means that I have to talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film were in all honesty really good. With this films many gruesome and very often very gory as all heck death scenes being where the film is most fun just because we get to see people die in really creative and fun ways which is always fun to see in any film regardless of it's a horror film or not in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a really fun movie and while it's quite clearly not as good as say The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent it is still a really good and fun film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very film well then boys and and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com , the official Evil Dead fandom wiki page and Google Images.

Living With Chucky Film Review

There are quite alot of horror icons out there but so few of them also become pop culture icons as well and even fewer get their own documentary. Well now we have yet another new horror documentary about one of the most underrated horror icons out there and well with this character now seeing a resurgence in popularity thanks to the Chucky TV show and as such it was only right that this character got his own documentary and so then join me as I review the film that really does prove that you really can't keep a good guy down with the film in question being called simply just "Living With Chucky" enjoy.

As this is a documentary it doesn't have a plot with it's basic idea being how these Child's Play and Chucky movies were made and how the franchise became as big as it was. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad altho I would have liked it if the film instead chose to focus on the relationship between Fiona Dourif and her father Brad Dourif as that really would have made for a really interesting documentary in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is franchise star Brad Dourif , Abigail Breslin , Christine Elise , Jennifer Tilly , directing John Waters and The Lord Of The Rings star Billy Boyd. Also starring in this film is Fiona Dourif , this films writer , producer , editor and director Kyra Elise Gardner , Tony Gardner , Adam Hurtig , Lin Shaye , Marlon Wayans , Youtuber James A. Janisse , David Kirschner , franchise creator Don Mancini , Dan Povenmire , Ash T , Anthony Timpone and Alex Vincent.

I have to admit that I really did like alot of the people that they interviewed for this film as they not only got people who have worked on the films and the TV show but they also got fans of the franchise involved as well. What really helped to sell these interviews for me was the fact that nobody was repeating what the other person had just said which is something that you always run the risk of happening in any documentary but that wasn't the case here as they really just talked about there own personal experience working on the Child's Play and Chucky franchise and really nothing more then that.

As is to expected they did go into to detail about how the franchise came to be which was something that I liked. As that was something that I not only didn't know but was also something that was very interesting even finding out what some of the other titles where for the first Child's Play movie some of which while more fitting where also a mouthful to say where also kind of interesting and that makes me wish that the film was more like that as it gave you an insight as to how this horror icon came to be and what went into his creation.

To me the best horror documentary that's out their is quite easily Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy. As that film gave you everything that you'd want from a horror documentary even breaking down how each of those films where made and created and that's something that's sorely lacking from this film which is a shame because the film does start of going that route but then it just starts of covering other things related to the franchise that just aren't that interesting and what makes things worse is the fact that each of the films aren't given the same amount of time dedicated to them with the first film getting the most time dedicated to it.

For those that are wondering this film only covers the first seven Child's Play movies and the Chucky TV show. With the film not even mentioning the remake which was to be expected but what wasn't expected was the fact that they don't mention the rights for the films switching from MGM for the first film to Universal Pictures for the rest of the films which is shame because that could have made for some great parts of this film and it's something that's important to this franchise and so it makes no sense for them for them not to include it in this film.

I really did like how this film touched upon the fact that people are dragged away from their families when there making either a movie or a TV show. As that's something that we as fans and none fans often either forget about or just don't know about which is a shame because these people seem more human as their stuck essentially working a job where the hours are super long but where as if you worked an office job you'd be able to see your family these people often go for weeks without seeing their families.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and forty minuets and forty five seconds. Which wasn't really that long of a running time for this film to have as like I said all of the movies barring the first film aren't given alot of time and as such I really wish that this film was quite a bit longer just so that they could give each and every film the love and attention that they all deserve but I will admit that this film does have some really good pacing to it and that is something that could be lost if the film had a much more longer running time.

So now then since there is some comedy in this film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. This is because we got to see just how these people when there not acting in anything and so the jokes they have with each other is alot more genuine and is pretty funny as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this is a good documentary I can't say that it's the best horror themed documentary out there and while Child's Play fans might like this film it's also a film that could have been so much better in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com , the official Child's Play fandom wiki page and Google Images.

Killer Rack Film Review

Horror fans after nearly ten years of waiting a film that i've been desperate to see was finally made available online. As such I just had to check this film out since i've been waiting close to a decade to see it and well this movie was more then worth then wait as it's just as fun and just as bad that I thought that it would be and so then horror fans join me as I review the film really does make Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey look good comparison with the film in question being called simply just "Killer Rack" enjoy.

The plot of this film is after she gets plastic surgery Betty Downer discovers that her adjustments have some killer habits. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty just as bad and just as strange and weird as you'd both expect and want it to be in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Echo Falls and Guns Of Eden star Jessica Zwolak as Betty Downer , horror legend Debbie Rochon as Cate Thulu and this films writer and producer Paul McGinnis as Tim. Also starring in this film is Youtuber Michael Thurber as Mr. Raquel , producer and directing legend Lloyd Kaufman as Dr. Foin , Brooke Lewis as The Voice Of The Killer Rack and horror actor and director Sam Qualiana as Dutch.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad which given just how low budget this film this film very easily could have hired a bunch of really bad actors but the fact that they didn't just goes to show that this films cast are some decent actors and actresses who can and in this case of this film do turn in some pretty good performances.

This film really does look cheap but to this films credit it's not really hindered by it's small budget instead it thrives with it. This is because this film knows that it's a cheap to make to film and so has alot of fun with by having these one of characters just tell random jokes all of which only serve to add to the overall fun factor of this film altho I will admit that this film does have some really bad looking CGI which were done by an unknown company which just look really bad even by this films already very low standards.

The one word that i'd use to describe this film is fun as that what this film is it's fun in every sense of the word. Which is something that works really well in this films favor since it's not trying to be this deep horror movie that makes you think it instead it's just trying to be something that will keep you entertained for the films running time and that's it and interms of cheap dumb entertainment you can't really go wrong with this film as it gives you everything that you want from a film like this and then some.

For some strange reason the makers of this film chose to turn it into a stage production which does sound kind of interesting. As I don't think there have been that many horror films let alone a horror comedy that have been turned into a musical stage show I don't know who was involved with the stage show but it's a show that I can't really see going down all that well just because of the subject matter behind this entire premise but hey if they can make it work for a film that maybe then can work for stage show.

I feel that this film works more as a comedy then it does a straight up horror film as this film is so bad that you can't help buy laugh at it. Heck even the jokes that this film tries to tell aren't that funny and as such your only laughing at the film and not with the film altho I will say there are two police characters which did get a big laugh out of me since all they do is speak in cliches with the older of the two even saying that he's retiring in a weeks time I only wish that they went all the way with their joke just by having them survive the film.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty minuets and thirty one seconds. Which is a great running time for this film as this film really doesn't have alot their interms of either plot and story and as such if you added even just ten minuets to this films running you;d be stretching an already thin story even thinner but on the flip side of that tho I would have liked it if this film was a little bit longer just so that some of the characters could be fully fleshed out and I will admit that this film does have some really good pacing to it.

So now then since this is a horror film that means that I have to actually talk about the kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really over the top. However at the same time due to this films really small budget we don't get to see alot of this films kills which for a horror film you really do want to see all of the kills in any given horror film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is just as bad as you'd want it to be and just as bad as you'd expect it to be which really does add to the overall fun factor of this film and it makes this film all the more entertaining to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 4.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Movie & TV fandom wiki page , IMP Awards .

Mad God 2021 Film Review

To quote writer , director and producer Guillermo Del Toro "Animation is not a genre for kids. It's a medium for art, it's a medium for film, and I think animation should stay in the conversation." this is a quote that he used when his film version of Pinocchio started winning lots of awards. I bring this up because film fans i've found another film that perfectly captures the tone and spirit of that quite perfectly and so then join me as I review the film that proves that animation can be more then just something for kids with the film in question being called simply just "Mad God" enjoy.

The plot of this film is an assassin travels through a nightmare world trying to find out how someone can let this level of madness and torture happen. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty rather good and while it can be very hard to work out what the actual plot is when we do get a plot it is genuinely quite entertaining and as well as being very engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

In a rather bizarre move this film features no cast members and while there are people who do appear in live action roles in the film those roles are so small and minimal that it's hardly worth crediting them. I do think that having none of the characters speak in this film was a rather bold move as it now allows the auidence to imagine ourselves as the characters and so we can now imagine what we'd do in the situations in this film and that is something that just wouldn't be possible if this film had a full voice cast.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films live action cast turning in some really good performances which was something that I wasn't expecting to be the case as pretty much all of them are either little known actors and actresses or aren't professional actors at all.

Doing the animation for this film is of course the legends and the greats that are currently over at Tippett Studio. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good which is even more shocking since the entire first half of the movie was made thirty years ago and it still holds up really well.

As I said the entire first half of the movie was shot thirty years prior to the films release with shooting mostly taking place on weekends during production of Robocop 2. However when Jurassic Park came out the film was put on hold because this films writer , director , producer and several other things Phil Tippett believed that stop motion animation was a dead art form it wasn't till years later when people at his own animation studio convinced him to finish the movie and thanks to Kickstarter he was finally able to finish the film thirty years after he started filming it.

What makes this production even more incredible is that alot of the crew that worked on the film were not only volunteers but also weren't trained in stop motion animation. This is something that really doesn't show at all as everything looks like it was made by people that no what there doing with the film also dripping in the love that each and every one of these artists poored into the film which only goes to show you that alot of this films crew had a true passion for this film and that is something that you just don't see in alot of films at all.

One of the things that I didn't really like about this film is the fact that for a horror movie there was nothing in this movie that really scared me. Which I get it horror is subjective but when your making a horror movie you have to make sure to scare people and when you don't do that you've failed at being a horror film I also really didn't like the fact that this film just stops with the story not really coming to any sort of conclusion which is a shame because the film had the chance to do some great social commentary but chose not to end it's story in any way whatsoever.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty three minuets and fifty eight seconds. Which was a tad bit on the long side for this film to last since the film really doesn't have alot their interms of plot or story to cover that large amount of running time and as such all we are left with is a bunch of scenes that don't really add anything to the actual plot of the film and as such this film should have been at the longest one hour long since that's all the amount of plot and story that this film really has enough running time to cover.

So now then since this is a horror film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this every film were in all honesty not that bad. With this films kills being very creative and all of this films kills really do take full advantage of the fact that this is an animated film and so they do kills that you couldn't do in live action which really is always fun to see in any film whatsoever in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall i'm glad that I finally saw this movie since it is a truly good horror movie to watch as well as being one that i'd highly recommend that anybody watch but it's not that good of a movie at all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Noe then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com , Wikipedia and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because the official Scream fandom wiki page  actually has images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and so then horror fans we end this review as we always do with really our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

Cocaine Bear Film Review

Every so often there comes along a film that makes you wonder what genre of film it actually is meant to be. Well one of those films has just been released and heck even the internet doesn't know what genre of film this is meant to be since i've seen it listed as a thriller to an action comedy to a horror comedy and so then join me as I review the film that lets you know what type of film it is just by the title alone with the film in question being called simply just "Cocaine Bear" enjoy.

The plot of this film when tons of drugs are lost somewhere in the woods a drug runner has to find them only to find that whoever has taken the drugs isn't human at all. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us n this very film was in all honesty just as crazy and insane as you'd expect it to be given the films title that is inn my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Keri Russell as Sari , O'Shea Jackson Jr. as Daveed and Alden Ehrenreich as Eddie. Also starring in this film is Christian Convery as Henry , Brooklynn Prince as Dee Dee , Isiah Whitlock Jr. as Bob , Margo Martindale as Ranger Liz , Ray Liotta as Syd , Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Peter , Aaron Holliday as Stache , Kristofer Hivju as Olaf Kristoffer , Hannah Hoekstra as Elsa , Ayoola Smart as Officer Reba , Kahyun Kim as Beth , Scott Seiss as Tom and Matthew Rhys as Andrew C. Thornton II.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With alot pf this films cast turning in some good performances for the most part since you do get a few actors in this film who just don't turn in good or even passable performances and that really does bring down the overall quality of the acting in this film.

Doing the CGI for this film is Clear Angle Studios , Exceptional Minds , Halon Entertainment , Rising Sun Pictures and Weta FX. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with the films CGI bear being the best effect in the whole entire film but with that being said the film does use some really obvious CGI doubles which do stand out by quite a mile.

This film is very loosely based on the true story of a bear that snorted a ton of drugs back in the early to mid nineteen eighties. I say loosely since this film does indeed take some very creative liberties with the story like for example the fact that the bear never went on a killing spree and as as far as I can tell the only people who were looking for the drugs were the local police department but what is true is the fact that Andrew C. Thornton II did infact die in the manor that is shown in this film but as far as I can tell it is the only thing that's true that's represented in this film.

Where as most films like this one take themselves far to seriously this film as the opposite problem in that it doesn't take itself seriously enough. Combining a comedy with any other genre is always a hard task because if you lean far to much either way you risk the film becoming unbalanced and that is the case with this film since it takes it's comedy more seriously then it does being a horror film which means that when a kill does happen it's not as effect as it perhaps could have been as the characters are nine times out of ten still in the middle of telling a joke.

As a comedy this film does work really well since there alot of really good jokes in this film but that's what you get when you have the pair of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller producing your film. Since they have a very good sense of humor and when you add in the fact that the films director and other producer Elizabeth Banks can be funny of course your going to get a film that has alot of really good jokes in it which makes it all the more painful when this film tells a really bad joke which sadly it does quite often.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty minuets and twenty eight seconds. Which id the absolutely perfect running time for a film lime this one to have since this film doesn't have alot their interms of either plot or story to cover anything that's even anywhere close to being two hours long but at the same time with this film being as short as it is it does mean that all of it's characters can;t be fully developed because the film really has to reach the next plot point.

So now then since this is a horror film that means that I have ti actually talk about the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this film are in all honesty pretty good. Altho they do get very repetitive with the type of kills that they have since all they boil down is the bear either scratching or eating people which is good for one or two kills but when the vast majority of the kills are done in that way it does get a little bit boring to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall I can't say that this film is better the Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey since that film was at least entertaining in it's concept and idea but I will admit that out of those two films this one is the better made film tho n my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because of the fact Google Images actually has alot of images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and so then horror fans we ends this review as we always freaking do with our one and true freaking goddess Elvira wishing us all some very freaking unpleasant dreams indeed.
