Haunted Mansion 2023 Film Review

Disney have very slowly been getting more and more into releasing horror films granted those horror films have been family friendly horror films but there still horror films none the less. Well the house of mouse has just now released there latest horror films and if it's going to do anything like their previous films at the box office then you can expect this film to be a flop and so then join me a I review the film that should have not only have been released in October but also on Disney+ with the film in question being called simply just "Haunted Mansion" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when a single mother and son discover that there new house is haunted they task four people to help get rid of the ghosts once and for all. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films plot being really entertaining and at times it can be really very engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is LaKeith Stanfield as Ben Matthias , Rosario Dawson as Gabbie and Owen Wilson as Father Kent. Also starring in this film is Tiffany Haddish as Harriet , Danny DeVito as Bruce Davis , Jamie Lee Curtis as Madame Leota , Chase W. Dillon as Travis , J.R. Adduci as William Gracey , Creek Wilson as Mariner , Ben Bladon as Hatchet Ghost , Lindsay Lamb as The Bride , Charity Jordan as Alyssa Matthias , Fedor Steer as Phineas The Traveler , Terence Rosemore as Gus The Prisoner , Mike Benitez as Ezra The Skeleton , Erika Coleman as Eleanor Gracey and Jared Leto as Alistair Crump / Hatbox Ghost.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us n this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad However that's also the issue as this films acting isn't all that good with alot of that coming down to the films script which gives this cast absolutely nothing to work with interms of what their respective characters personalities even are.

Doing the CGI for this film is Double Negative , Imaginarium Studios and the legends and the greats that are currently over at Industrial Light & Magic. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that he actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good which shouldn't be all that surprising given who is providing the CGI for this film.

What is truly shocking is that Disney turned down a script for this film by the great Guillermo Del Toro for being to scary. Which for me is a dumb reason to turn a script as this is a horror movie it's meant to be scary even family friendly horror films still need to be scary and I don't know if Disney knows this or not but kids like being scared and so by turning down his version of a Haunted House movie they just lost a lot of money as Guillermo Del Toro movies not only get very positive reviews from both fans and critics alike but they also make alot of money at the box office and they've just doomed this movie to fail because fans are now going to wonder what Guillermo Del Toro's vision for the film would have been like.

Like I said at the start of the review this film not only should have been released during October but t also should have been released straight to Disney+. As the film would have found more of an audience on Disney+ during the halloween season then it will find during the summer months in theaters as now ts just going to get lost in a sea of other bigger and in alot of cases better summer movies which is something that Disney really can't do with being the case right now and with Barbie killing it at the box office this film is only going to loose money which is a shame because this film does have alot of really good things for it as well as having some bad things going against it all of which add up to the film becoming the latest Disney movie to become a box office flop at the box office.

There are a few things that I did like about the movie like for example the ghosts were pretty cool looking. I also like the fact that the film managed to include heavy themes of death and grief into a kids film with thew characters of Travis and Ben both dealing with the recent loss of a loved one and seeing how they overcame that and form a bond because of that was interesting to see in this film it's just a shame that the film doesn't really go into that much detail nor do anything with that theme as it is something that's handled really well and the film could have dine with exploring that theme alot more then what it actually does.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and fifty five minuets and forty six seconds. Which is far longer then what this film really needs to be as this film only has enough story for at the very latest one hour and thirty minuets and as such we just spend alot of time with the characters just stuck on repeat mode which after a while gets to be very boring as all there doing is just repeating scenes that we've already seen in the movie but I will admit that this film does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then since this is a horror film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual horror that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual horror that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. Granted his film is a horror comedy and while the main focus of the film leans slightly more towards the comedy aspect of the film there are some really unique scares to be found in this film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film was better then what that it would be but at the same time it's also not really as good nor as creepy , scary and as really funny as it perhaps should be in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Disney fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being the official Disney fandom wiki page simply because the official Disney fandom wiki page actually has images from this film up on the official Disney fandom wiki page and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on the official Disney fandom wiki page were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we end this review as we always do with really our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

Resident Evil: Death Island Film SPOILER FILLED Film Review

Resident Evil fans it's been about six years since we last got an anime Resident Evil film and well a New one has just been released. I will very much admit that i've been looking to seeing this film every since I first found out about it and well you all just new that I was going to check out this film the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the film that sees a bunch of the franchises protagonists team up with the film in question being called simply just "Resident Evil: Death Island" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when a scientist is kidnapped Leon has to find him and in the process help Christ , Jill and Claire stop the world from a new deadly virus. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt that about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad altho it did feel pretty generic and just wasn't all that interesting in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Nicole Tompkins as Jill Valentine , Kevin Dorman as Chris Redfield and Matthew Mercer as Leon S. Kennedy , Stephanie Panisello as Claire Redfield , Power Rangers star and  legend Erin Cahill as Rebecca Chambers , Salli Saffioti as Ingrid Hunnigan , Daman Mills as Dylan Blake , Voice acting legend Cristina Vee as Maria Gomez , Frank Todaro as Antonio Taylor and Lucien Dodge as JJ.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in his very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films cast members turning in some really good performances which is to be expected as alot of this films cast members are a bunch of really good and really well known voice actors and so of course they are going to turn in some really performances in this film.

Doing the animation for this film is the true legends and the really greats that are currently over at Quebico. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this films animation really blowing me away with just how good it well and truly was.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!

One of the things that I hated about this film is what they did to Jill Valentine as they turned her into somebody who is always right no matter what. To make things worse is the fact that they gave her the stereotypical side haircut which just makes her look like a girl boss type of a character and not an actual interesting character which is a shame because they do give an in story reason as to this sudden change in her character but they do nothing with that story which is a shame because the story behind her change which was she was basically brainwashed by Wesker into killing people could make for an interesting character arc but the film does nothing with it whatsoever which means that a great story arc just gets wasted for no reason whatsoever.

One of the things that you'd expect a zombie movie to be is scary and that's one of the things that this film sadly isn't for the most part. While yes we do get some jump scares in this film those re very rarely effective with them instead just being annoying and not scary all of which makes me wonder why the makers of this film just didn't bother to prioritize making this film scary as that would make your audience want to see your characters succeed instead all it does is take your audience out of the movie because it just reminds them that there really just watching a movie and nothing really of the more then that.

One of the things that I was worried about was that some characters would get lost in the shuffle as there are quite a few main characters in this film. However for the most part that actually isn't the case with pretty much all of this films main cast of characters not only getting close to equal screen time but also having their own moment to sine in the films third act and the fact that all of the characters are teaming up is a smart way to give all of the characters equal screen time as it means that none of the characters are left with nothing to do.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty minuets and forty three seconds. Which is a bit on the short side for this film as it means that alot of the films plot points and even the main villains big reveal doesn't really feel earned as the film doesn't really let them sink in and this is also true for the some parts of the films animation which moves far to quickly all because of the fact that the film has to hit it's next plot point in time but I will admit tho that this film does have some really good pacing to it tho so there's that at least.

So now then since this is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really freaking cool. With the above picture being perhaps the coolest looking shot in the whole entire film and when your film is just filled to the brim of just really cool action scenes it really is saying something that one monster taking out a bunch of people in one shot is the coolest of them all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Overall while this film is quite easily better then both the live action Resident Evil Netflix TV series and Welcome To Raccoon City it's not as good as Degeneration was in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Resident Evil fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Image actually has images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we end this review as we always do with really our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.

The Munsters "My Fair Munster" Review

It's been quite a while since I last spoke about anything to do with The Munsters and even longer when you take into account that i've have spoke about an episode of The Munsters TV series. Well as luck would have it I was looking for something horror related and well I thought it would be nice to talk about The Munsters some more and so then join me as I review the episode that I basically just an extended version of the shows unaired pilot with the episode in question being called simply just "My Fair Munster" enjoy.

The plot of this episode when another one of Marilyn's boyfriends run out on her Grandpa creates a love potion only it's not Marilyn that takes the love potion. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with this episodes plot being very simply but enjoyably simple in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Yvonne De Carlo as Lily Munster , Al Lewis as Grandpa and Beverley Owen as Marilyn Munster. Also starring in this episode is Butch Patrick as Eddie Munster , Fred Gwynne as Herman Munster , John Fiedler as Warren Bloom , Claire Carleton as Yolanda Cribbins , Edward Mallory as Jack and Batman: The Animated Series and DCAU star Bob Hastings as The Voice Of The Raven.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that the actual actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very review was in all honesty not that bad. With the episodes cast turning in some really good performances for the most part as there some actors who just don't turn that good of a performance especially when compared to the rest of the cast members in this very episode.

As I stated at the start of this very review this film is basically an extended version of the shows first two unaired pilot episodes. With this episode even going as far as to copy scenes from the original unaired pilots which was something that I didn't really like all that much as all they did was remind of those pilot episodes but at the same time it is interesting to see what the pilot story would have been like it was a full twenty two minuet episode instead of only being somewhere around fifteen minuets in length.

There is one thing that really bugged me about this episode and that's the fact that even tho the love potion is meant to make two people fall in love with each other then why does it work on Herman and Lily who are already madly in love with each other. If anything the potion should have made them fall even more love with each other and have them acting so far out of character that it becomes comical as all they'd be doing is paying attention to each other which would open the episode up to alot of jokes just based of off what their doing.

Another issue that I have with this episode is despite the driving force behind the episodes plot Marilyn has next to nothing to do in this episode. She only appears in a small handful of scenes and that's it which is weird because the plot of the episode gets started because of her and she is the main driving force behind the episode and yet she's given nothing to do in the episode so much so that I wouldn't blame anyone if they forgot that she was even in this episode as the character just straight up disappears from the episode for a large portion of the episodes running time with the same thing also being true for Eddie as well.

This episode is a good episode to show of the family's family dynamic as we get to see just how much this family truly means to each other. With Herman showing concern that Marilyn can't find true love and Grandpa even making a love potion to help his niece out this is something that you don't get to really see in comedy shows anymore as alot of them just have the family be a dysfunctional family all of the sake of comedy but in doing that they don't make them a believable family unit where as this show and this episode goes out of it's way to show us that they really are a kind and loving family that really will do anything to make each other happy.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grad total running time of exactly twenty five minuets and twenty eight seconds. Which from what I can remember is pretty much the bog standard running time for an episode of this show to last and to this episodes credit it does take full advantage of it's running time and while I would have liked it if this episode was a tad bit longer if this episode was even five minuets longer it would be stretching an already thinly drawn out story even thinner but I will admit that this episode does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So then since this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in his very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that' actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With this episode having alot of really funny jokes in it with alot of this episodes joking being very character driven and as such they feel like jokes that these characters would actually tell to each other and this episodes jokes are just straight up cute and funny jokes as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this wasn't that bad of an episode but that's also the issue as it wasn't that good of an episode either with this episode just dropping Marilyn who is central to the episodes plot and just doing things that don't add up or make sense in the grand scheme of things in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode earns itself a grand old score of exactly an 8 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Amazon . Co . Uk and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Image actually has images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all really very fairly high quality and as well as being as really very fairly high definition as well and so then horror fans we end this review as we always do with really our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams

Hollywood Dreams & Nightmares: The Robert Englund Story Film Review

For some strange reason this year seems to be the year that horror icons are getting their own documentaries. As the Chucky franchise recently got one with the great Living With Chucky and now another icon of not just horror but cinema and TV as a whole has just released his very own documentary and so then join me as I review the film that proves playing a nightmare of a character like Freddy Krueger can turn into a dream acting career with the film in question being called simply just "Hollywood Dreams & Nightmares: The Robert Englund Story" enjoy.

As this is a documentary this film really doesn't have a plot to speak as all it is is Robert talking about his life and his career. This is something that I think both works for and against he film it works for the film as it gives you the chance to hear more about the this man who has terrified us for decades but it works against the film as large portions of his life are either skipped over or just straight up forgotten about which makes the film feel more like an adaptation of Robert Englund's Wikipedia page and nothing more then that in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Robert Englund , Eli Roth , Lance Henriksen , Amanda Wyss , Lin Shaye and Tony Todd. Also starring in this film is Monica Keena , Miko Hughes  , Heather Langenkamp , Andrew Divoff , Bill Moseley , Dennis Christopher , Tammy Lauren , Kane Hodder , Jill Schoelen , Kelly Jo Minter , Mick Garris , Tuesday Knight , Adam Green , Corey Taylor , Jeffrey Reddick , Dwight H. Little , Kenneth Johnson , Nathan Baesel , Michael Leavy , Janus Blythe , Gary Sherman , Steve Johnson , Danny Hassel , Diane Cary , Tim Sullivan , Peter Atkins , Bobby C. King , Bart Mixon , Andy Palmer , Michelle Zeitlin , Jaron Presant , David Stump , James Chressanthis , David J. Stieve and Jonathan Glendening.

As with Living With Chucky I really did like alot of the people that were interviewed for this film as alot them did have very unique things to say. However with that being said all of them praise Robert which granted is to be expected but at the same time tho it does get boring after awhile and while it's great to see alot of the cast not covering the same points as each other I just wish that they'd gotten more people from Robert's private live just so we the fans can hear about what he's like when he's not making a movie or a TV show.

As was to be expected he does cover the same old Star Wars story that he seems to cover which was to be expected. As much as I love hearing the story of how he told Mark Hamill to go in and audition for the role of Luke Skywalker it's a story that i've heard so many times now that it's become kind of a cliche to expect that story to show up in any documentary that Robert Englund appears in but I will admit I did enjoy the fact that he added to the story as he does say that he stole a piece of paper with the list of things that they were looking for in Luke Skywalker and that he auditioned for the role of Han Solo.

I really did enjoy finding out about all of the other films that Robert Englund did both prior to and after A Nightmare On Elm Street. As it goes to show you just how much of a good actor he is as alot of films prior to being cast as Freddy Krueger were either drama's or comedies and you can just tell from the very brief clips of each films that they show that he had alot of fun making them as his charm really does shine through and it's hearing these stories that makes me want to check out more of his filmography.

What really saddened me was the fact that his father didn't fully get on board with him wanting to be an actor. Even when he started to become successful even tho his father did get to live through the rise of Freddy Krueger mania Robert himself says that him wanting to become an actor instead of a lawyer strained his relationship with his father even tho his mother was quite happy with him choosing to be an actor even tho she didn't get to live through Freddy Krueger mania but sadly he never mentions if he and his dad ever fully became close again but given that his dad appeared on set the day they were filming Freddy's death at the end of A Nightmare On Em Street 4: The Dream Master we can safely assume that they did mend there relationship at some point.

For me this documentary would have been made better if we to see what Robert Englund the family man at home is like. As we have tons of DVD's and Blu-Rays to see what Robert Englund the entertainer is like and this would have given us a more dramatic hook as well as we'd get to see how the role of Freddy Krueger effected not only him but also his friends and his family as well which would have been more interesting then seeing people talk about alot of very little known films that as much as I hate to it just aren't that relevant to this films story.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly two hours and ten minuets and eleven seconds. Which for a documentary about one person's life is a bit on the long side even more so when you realise that this film feels like it's repeat on alot of the time with the film going interview and clip several times over and maybe just maybe you'll get some interesting facts or you'll find out about a film that you never knew about but I will however very much admit that this film does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as there are some comedy moments in this film that means that I have to actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With alot of this films comedy coming from seeing how Robert acted behind the scenes on some of his movies which was just a pure joy tom watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while I can't say that this documentary is better then either I Am Nancy or Living With Chucky for that matter I can say this film is a must watch for any fan of either Robert Englund or A Nightmare On Elm Street in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all f the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Star Wars fandom wiki page and Google Images.

My First Impressions Of The The Walking Dead: Dead City TV Series

The Walking Dead is a franchise that just won't die even after the main show has now officially ended we're getting a slew of spin off shows. Well the first of those spin off shows has just now released it's first episode and well I thought that i'd talk about it and so then join me as I give you my first impressions of the show that proves that this franchise really should just star dead with the TV show in question being called simply just "The Walking Dead: Dead City" enjoy.

The plot of the episode is after her son is kidnapped Maggie is forced to team up with the one person she would rather not see again. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as it does a solid job of setting up what the main plot of the show will be and is genuinely quite entertaining and very engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Lauren Cohan as Maggie Rhee and one of this shows producers Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan Smith. Also starring in this episode is Gaius Charles as Perlie Armstrong , Željko Ivanek as The Croat , Mahina Napoleon as Ginny , Logan Kim as Hershel Rhee , Trey Santiago-Hudson as Jano , Eleanor Reissa as Esther , Pallavi Sastry as Nina , Charlie Solis as The Bartender and David Chen as Gritz.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With this episodes cast doing their best to make this episodes script work for them the issue is tho apart from Negan and Maggie none of this episode cast pf characters are given much in the way of personality and so the actors can only do so much with the material that they are given to work with in this episode.

Doing the CGI for this episode is rather unknown as the company isn't listed anywhere on the internet or IMDB. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with it being hard to tell what was a CGI effect and what was done practically on the shows set.

I will admit that i'm not the biggest fan of The Walking Dead just because I started watching the show far to late into it's run and I found the show a bit boring at times. As such i'm not this shows target audience but for me what's interesting about all of these spin offs is the chance to cover more parts of this world that alot people seem to really love and while i'm never going to be a fan of The Walking Dead TV show if they did a spin off that I actually liked then I could see myself being a fan of that particualr spin off.

The idea of having thee two characters who are basically enemies that are now forced to team up together does seem like a good idea. While it's understandable that this episode doesn't fully turn the character of Negan and Maggie into friends what is telling is that it doesn't appear as if that's the route that there going to go down which i'm fully on board with as it shows that some wounds are so deep that no matter how much time has passed it would impossible for them to fully heal up which should be the case with Negan and Maggie.

There are some things that I don't like in this episode like the fact that because of the fact that alot of this episode is set at night it does make it hard to see alot of what's going on alot of the time. Another thing that I hated was oddly enough the lack of zombies in New York as we are told something in this episode which i'm not going to spoil incase it's a massive spoiler but because of that and because of the trailers I was expecting to see alot more zombies when we reach New York but sadly we don't get to see that many and as such the hole city really does feel like it's very light on zombies and as such comes across as being a really safe for these characters to live.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly fifty five minuets and one second. Which if memory serves me right is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for anything to do with The Walking Dead and to this episodes credit it does have more then enough plot to cover that large amount of running time but at the same time tho I feel that this episode really didn't need to be that long as you don't really need to do alot of explaining and if this episode was shorter it would help alot with the episodes pretty bad pacing as well.

So now then as this is a zombie show that means that I have to actually talk the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual kills that are actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With their being alot of really cool kills happening in this episode and while the make up effects for the zombies don't look that good the make up when the zombies are killed look really good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this wasn't a bad first episode and while I can see alot of die hard fans of The Walking Dead really liking this show I can't really see this show attracting alot of or even any new fans to this franchise either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about the all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this post and since this is only my first impressions I won't be giving this show a rating however if i'm still watching this show when this shows final episodes airs or is released and then i'll give this a show review and as well as rating for the show as a whole.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post from the official The Walking Dead fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the wonderful the official The Walking Dead fandom wiki page since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on the official The Walking Dead fandom wiki page are all fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition and so then horror fans we ends this post as we always freaking do with our one and true freaking horror goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very freaking unpleasant dreams indeed.

Saw III Film Review

Horror fans it's been quite along time since I last reviewed a Saw movie and just as long since I last reviewed a much more older horror movie. As such I thought that i'd scratch both of these itches at the exact same time by reviewing a early Saw film and so then join me as I review the film that saw the death of two antagonists and the introduction of another one with the film in question being called simply just "Saw III" enjoy.

The plot of this film is husband and father Jeff Denlon finds himself the latest victim of Jigsaw's deadly games meanwhile his wife Lynn finds herself having to do the most deadly surgery that she's ever done. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that' actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as this films plot genuinely quite engaging and very entertaining as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Tobin Bell as John Kramer , Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young and Angus Macfadyen as Jeff. Also starring in this film is Bahar Soomekh as Lynn , Donnie Wahlberg as Eric Matthews , Dina Meyer as Kerry , Leigh Whannell as Adam , Mpho Koaho as Tim , Barry Flatman as Judge Halden , Lyriq Bent as Rigg , J. Larose as Troy , Debra Lynne McCabe as Danica , Costas Mandylor as Forenesic Hoffman , Betsy Russell as Jill , Stefan Georgiou as Dylan , Niamh Wilson as Corbett , Alan Van Sprang as Chris and Kim Roberts as Nurse Deborah.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with the cast members doing their best to make this films script worked for them the issue is tho is that this films script is weakest of the earlier Saw sequels with the newer characters not being give much of a personality and so the cast can't really turn in a great performance because of the fact that this films script just won't allow for it.

This is also the film that saw John Kramer die which was a rather bold move to make as no horror franchise has their main killer be killed of. Which was something that I rather liked as it showed that the makers of this film fully respected their audience as the audience would remember that from the first film onwards John was already dying and so to see him finally meet his end in the third film really did make sense and it's something that really does work well for not only this film but for the franchise moving forwards as well.

As you can no doubt work out by who was credited in this films cast this film also marked the debut of Costas Mandylor as Forenesic Hoffman. Who despite only appearing in one short scene near the start of the movie goes on to become the main villain for the following three films it;s this sort of forward thinking that I really love about the Saw films as it makes all of the films very re watchable as you can now spot how certain things that pay of in the later films are now all being set up and this kind of forward thinking that's very sorely missed from films in general.

This film very sadly also marked the death of Amanda Young with her death and her complete character change being something that I really disliked. I hated her death just because it wasn't something that was built up in the film and so it just comes out of nowhere and I hated how they wrote her character since in this film she's written as somebody who have become very dependent on John and that's not how she was written in the previous Saw movies and so this character change really comes out of nowhere and isn't in character for her at all.

Thus film chose to have Amanda's subplot and Jeff's main plot act as parallel's to each other which was something that i'm very mixed on. As in some ways it does work but at the same time I don't think that it's something that they really needed to do even more so when you take into account that it doesn't play a part in the film at all and so it makes you wonder why the makers of the film chose to do something like that especially since you could have done something with it just by having John say to Jeff that if you carry on down this path you'll end up just like her and have Jeff and John then both look at a dead Amanda.

Now then while I don't for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this films grand total even was I do know that for a fact that this film has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly one hour and forty minuets. Which was a tad bit on the long side for this film but given just how much storyline and plot that this film had to wrap up having a much more longer running time does somewhat make sense and to this films credit it does some really pretty good pacing to it as well which does make the film really fly right on by.

So now then since this a Saw film that means that I have to talk about the actual traps that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual traps that are actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this film having some pretty creative and more often then not very gory traps but at the same time they also felt like that they were pretty tame traps as well especially when you compare them to the traps of the later films in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this does serve as a great end to the John Kramer era of Saw films it's also a fairly weak film with the film being more focused on killing John and Amanda then it is in telling a good story in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Saw fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because Google Image actually has images from this film up on Google Images and plus pretty much much all of the images that I personally found on Google Images were all fairly high quality and as well as being as fairly high definition and so then horror fans we end this review as we always do with really our one and true goddess Elvira wishing us all some really very unpleasant dreams.
